Today we announce the formation of Pro Stock Championships and Rankings (PSCAR). What sets up apart from other drag racing organizations is that we use a ranking system and tournament structures similar to what you may see in the PGA, WTP, or even the PBA. Rankings will be decided on a one year rolling cycle.
Season 1 of PSCAR will feature 16 drivers (home brewed). The first season's schedule will feature four 8 driver standard championships, two 16 driver major championships, and a World Championship tournament. All tournament brackets will be selected at random, no qualifying, except for the World Championship, which the seeds will be decided by current PSCAR World Rankings. As more drivers join in subsequent seasons, we hope to add more tournaments to the schedule. The first rankings will be announced after the first four standard championships have been held, followed by updates after each tournament thereafter. This season, the two major championships will be held after the four standard championships, followed by the World Championship.
