Reviewing the pages of new cards, I noticed that there are 8 pages total, but that Pages 6-8 are identical to Pages 1-3 in my download. Is this an error? There are 8 pages of "backs" to these cards, so I assume that the intent was 8 different pages of new X-factor cards.

Hi Bill,
What you have is correct. The duplicates are the injury chance cards. This enhanced deck is to be mixed in the with original X-factor deck, giving the proper "injury check" chances. There are duplicate results in the original deck as well, to give the right balance for each type of result. The "Enhanced" deck brings 80 new cards into the equation, giving 180 total X-Factor cards with both sets.
It's a delicate balancing act with the X-factor system, as it has to be just enough to add flavor and intrigue. But, not over powering to dramatically change the results and integrity of the game. |
