SOS Question for UQ College Hoops

Do you make the SOS adjustment in EVERY game, or just games across conferences (SEC v. ACC, ETC.) or divisions?
In other words, if Duke plays Ga Tech, do I still use the SOS adjustment or skip it since they're in the same conference? |

I believe you use SOS for every game. The rules for the all-time set I have doesn't mention any exceptions. |

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure before I start rolling up the tournament pre-play. My direction for this year's yearbook kind of made it look like an "option" as it was listed after a sample game. I will roll up the tournament with the SOS factored into every game.

I don't suppose it is mandatory on conference games. However, it's always been part of the game in general. With UQ College Hoops it keeps scoring more accurate in general. While it is primarily there to keep things balanced in games between divisions and conferences, I would use it in every game. |

Great. Thanks for clearing that up. I am rolling the tournament, but going region by region to make it easier to play and follow. Zags are rolling and scoring 100+ in each game so far! |

Wrong answers. It's right there in the manual: you DO NOT use SOS if the two teams are from the same conference.
Why would you?? |

What if the schools are from the same conference, but from different seasons? Not using SOS certainly makes sense within the same year, but conferences have up and down years just like teams do. |
