1. Trying to make a name for himself in TNA, Jay Bradley came out talking smack to his opponent Kenny King to earn some heel points but it was all downhill from there. Bradley was crowned by Kenny's Coronation (Backbreaker Rack Drop into DDT) for the three count at 4:26.
2. Creepy Samuel Shaw was extremely disappointed not to find his beloved Ms. Hemme making the ring introductions and took out his wrath on Jeremy Borash. So much so, that Mr. Anderson left the Announcers' Table and entered the ring in JB's defense. A tense stare down ensued between the two until Shaw's opponent Christian York grew impatient with the delay and attacked before the bell. As it turned out, this would be the only offense the normally combative York would get in the entire match. A Uranage from Shaw quickly turned the momentum in his favor and set up the Kata Gatame (Arm Triangle Choke) submission for the victory at 4:08.
3. O.D.B. was probably wishing that she had brought hubby Eric Young to ringside with her when she faced the Alpha Female. Chris Sabin, who accompanied the Alpha Female during the introductions, hung around for the match and proved to be a constant distraction. Sabin threw a cup of soda in O.D.B.'s face enabling the Alpha Female to roll up Mrs. Young from behind for the 1-2-3 at 6:47. After the bell, EY ran down to ringside and challenged Alpha & Sabin to a mixed tag team match next week.
4. The match between Willow (Jeff Hardy's kooky alter ego) and Doug Williams was declared a No Contest by Referee Mike Posey. Willow seemed more intent on breaking Williams' leg rather than in actually wrestling the man. Willow clamped his opponent's leg in a folding chair and leapt onto it from the top of a ladder leaving Williams writhing in pain on the mat. Apparently, the only thing that saved Willow from a disqualification was the fact that the bell had never rung to officially start the match. Williams had to be assisted to the back for medical treatment immediately afterward.
5. TNA President Dixie Carter's spoiled nephew EC3 (Ethan Carter III) & toadie Rockstar Spud teamed up to defeat the American Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) via Count Out at 8:31. As an added insurance policy, Dixie sent "The Monster" Abyss to ringside to be in her team's corner. The Monster made all the difference and planted Davey Richards with a Blackhole Slam (Swinging Side Slam) on the floor after Richards had been tossed OOR by EC3. Referee Earl Hebner's count reached ten as Edwards attended to his injured partner.
6. The fans didn't know who to root for or who to jeer when Bully Ray took on "Cowboy" James Storm in the Main Event. The two grapplers have reversed roles as heel and babyface on the TNA roster as of late. The Cowboy was nearly pinned after a Bully Bomb (Sit Out Full Nelson Slam) but managed to narrowly kick out and roll himself to the safety of the corner to regroup. Storm then grabbed Bully's very own wallet chain which was lying on the apron and KO'd his opponent with a loaded punch to gain the tainted victory at 10:53.

1. The team of Brittany DeVore & Amber O'Neal stunned the Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Skye) in a Knockouts' tag team upset to open the show. The Beautiful People were dominating the match until someone wearing a bag over their head with Angelina's image on it came down to ringside. The mystery guest proved to be a major source of distraction for both Angelina and Velvet. Apparently the suspense was too much for Ms. Love to bear. She attempted to unmask the visitor and got rolled up from behind in the process by Brittany DeVore for the three count at 6:12. After the bell, the intruder skipped up the ramp and headed backstage but not before removing the bag to reveal her identity as Madison Rayne while a stunned Angelina and Velvet looked on.
2. DJ Z (The former Zema Ion) over Seiya Sanada at 7:46. Credit Robbie E of the BroMans for this dubious victory. Robbie reached into the ring and tripped Sanada as he was hoisting his opponent up for a suplex causing DJ Z to land on top of Seiya for the 1-2-3. Robbie held onto the boot to insure the pinfall.
3. Big Knux from Aces & Eights needed all the help he could get to defeat Bobby Lashley. TNA tag team champions Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff were initially at ringside to be in Knux' corner but were banished to the back by Referee Mike Posey for their constant interference. Without his band of brothers with him, the momentum of the match abruptly swung in Lashley's favor. Bobby went on to pin his adversary with a Running Spear at 7:20.
4. Creepy Samuel Shaw let Frank Coutinho know that he was not pleased that his beloved Christy Hemme was absent as Ring Announcer this evening. Frank shrugged his shoulders and said "That's the way it goes, Looney Bird," which infuriated Shaw to no end. Samuel was threatening to apply his Kata Gatame on Mr. Coutinho when his opponent Gunner attacked. Shaw mounted a comeback but missed a high risk leap from the top rope enabling Gunner to put him away with the Hanger 18 (Fireman's Carry Facebuster) at 8:45.
5. Eric Young & O.D.B. over Chris Sabin & the Alpha Female in a mixed tag Challenge Match at 9:08. A pretty even match up that was ultimately decided by a wildcard in the form of Sabin's former Motor City Machine Guns tag team partner Alex Shelley who came down to ringside with payback on his mind. (Shelley had attempted to reunite the Machine Guns a few weeks back and was given the All Hail Sabin (Sit Out Piledriver) in response.) Shelley baited Sabin into a confrontation on the floor which led to fisticuffs between the two. In the meantime, Referee Earl Hebner's count had reached ten while the former friends duked it out.
6. In the Main Event, Mr. Anderson defeated Magnus with some inadvertent help from Rockstar Spud at 9:54. TNA President Dixie Carter sent her little toadie to ringside to "make sure things went right" and got the opposite result instead. Spud attempted to throw a cup of Pepsi into Mr. Anderson's face but accidentally got Magnus in the eyes with the beverage instead. Magnus was blinded just long enough to be hit with the Mic Check (Reverse STO) for the winning pinfall.

1. Dixie Carter's spoiled nephew EC3 (Ethan Carter III) defeated Christain York to kick things off tonight. The pesty York was holding his own in this bout until he was clipped from behind by a Chop Block from Dixie's little toady Rockstar Spud while EC3 distracted Referee Brian Hebner. York's knee appeared to be injured as a result of Spud's cheap shot and led to Carter's Heel Hook Leg Lock Submission at 4:26.
2. Gail Kim (w/ Madison Rayne) over the Beautiful People's Angelina Love (w/ Velvet Sky) at 7:31. Knockouts' Ref Taryn Terrell had her hands full with all the extracurricular activity in this heated match. Velvet managed to sneak into the ring to reverse Gail's Small Package on Angelina only to have Madison Rayne then sneak in and re-reverse the cradle to put Kim back on top for the three count.
3. "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jesse Godderz needed all the help that he could get from DJ Z and Bro-Man's tag team partner Robbie E when he signed on to face "The Monster" Abyss. While their interference did help keep Jesse in the match, they could not bring him a victory. Mr. Pec-Tacular was military pressed over the Monster's head and then thrown out of the ring onto his partners below sending all three men crashing hard to the floor. Godderz was unable to make Referee Bruce Gray's subsequent ten count. Your winner via Count Out at 6:05: "The Monster" Abyss.
4. The Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) appear to be on their way to a tag team title match against Aces & Eights (Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff) after a big win over Bad Influence (Kazarian & Christopher Daniels). Daniels was leveled by an errant clothesline from his own partner that set up the one-two punch of an Edwards' Diving Double Stomp to his back followed by Richards' Diving Double Stomp to the midsection for the three count at 9:44.
5. Former friends and Motor City Machine Gun partners Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley met in a grudge match to settle their differences. As it turned out, nothing was settled at all. Shelley was carrying the fight to his adversary when he was brought to his knees by a low punch from behind courtesy of Sabin's valet the Alpha Female. The All Hail Sabin (Sit Out Piledriver) soon followed to put Shelley down for the three count at 8:52. The smug Sabin was prancing around the ring basking in the glow of his tainted victory when Referee Brian Hebner ran down to the ring to inform the match official Bruce Gray of what had transpired. In an unusual ending, Gray abruptly reversed his decision and awarded the bout to Shelley by disqualification. Sabin blew a gasket and was arguing quite adamantly with Gray when he was spun around by Alex and flattened with the Shellshock (Swinging Reverse STO). The Alpha Female hoisted the dazed Sabin up on her shoulder like a sack of potatoes and carried him to the back.
6. The bizarre Willow (w/unsettling cackle and black & white umbrella) over quite possibly "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived" Austin Aries by way of DQ at 14:39. Once again, "The It Factor" Bobby Roode took it upon himself to come down to ringside in support of his fellow egomaniac "A Double". Roode reached into the ring and pulled Aries out of the way of a potential match-ending Swanton Bomb. While the interference may have saved Austin from a pinfall, it also cost him the disqualification. Aries and Roode then got into a heated shoving match until Willow cleaned house with umbrella smashes to both men.

1. Bram (w/ Magnus) made his TNA debut with a victory over Alex Silva. Hoping to impart a much more aggressive style of wrestling upon his friend Magnus, Bram basically used his opponent as a punching bag and pummeled young Silva unmercifully in a brutal corner beat down. Alex was out on his feet by the time Bram finished him off with a Hangman's Neckbreaker Slam at 3:26.
2. An errant chair smash by fellow tag team partner Jesse Godderz sent Robbie E down to defeat at the hands of Seiya Sanada. With Bro-Man's DJ Z drawing Referee Scott Willer's attention, Godderz snuck into the ring with a chair but clobbered Robbie E by mistake when Sanada ducked at the last second. Sanada then cleared the ring of Godderz with a Drop Kick and delivered a Moonsault from the top rope onto the KO'd Robbie for the three count at 6:51.
3. The Menagerie was in town as Knux took on Doug Williams. Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho received an orange balloon from Crazy Steve and passed it along to a youngster at ringside after making the match introductions. Williams is no slouch but he had trouble keeping his focus on Knux what with the presence of the sideshow at ringside. Rebel, the Freak and the afore mentioned Crazy Steve all milled about OOR and proved to be a major distraction. A Big Boot to the chin was the beginning of the end for Williams who was pinned with a Swinging Reverse STO by Knux shortly after. The time of the fall was 6:20.
4. Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho didn't seem to mind Velvet Skye adjusting his bow tie as he made the introductions for the Knockouts' tag team battle pitting the Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Ms. Skye) against their bitter rivals Madison Rayne & Gail Kim. A lot of twists and turns and near pinfalls in this one with neither team being able to sustain the advantage. Gail connected with her Eat Defeat (Inverted Stomp Jawbreaker) on Angelina but Velvet was able to break up the pin before Referee O.D.B.'s count reached three. Gail returned the favor by breaking up Velvet's pin after she had flattened Madison with her In Yo' Face finisher (Sit Out Double Underhook Facebuster). All four ladies took the action OOR where Gail and Velvet were counted out by O.D.B. at 10:55.
5. Bully Ray (w/ New found popularity) over Christopher Daniels (w/ Franky Kazarian) at 7:39. Kazarian thought that he had won the match for his Bad Influence tag team partner by tripping Bully to the mat to set up the finish. Christopher Daniels may indeed have the "Best Moonsault Ever" as he so often boasts, but Bully raised his knees at the last second just as his opponent was landing on top of him. Daniels was doubled over from the blow and cradled in a Small Package for the three count.
6. Outside Interference cost "Olympic Gold Medalist" Kurt Angle his match against Bobby Lashley in tonight's Main Event. A missed Spear in the corner staggered Lashley right into an Angle Slam from Kurt, but Referee Brian Hebner's attention was diverted to TNA Director of Operations M.V.P. who came down to ringside to have a word with the official. Not only did M.V.P.'s diversion help Hebner miss the pin, it also enabled "King of the Night" Kenny King to sneak into the ring and lay out Angle with the Royal Flush (Fireman's Carry Cutter). His mission accomplished, M.V.P. returned backstage as Hebner finally turned around to find Lashley now making the cover and counted the pin. The time of the fall was 14:04.

1. Haku pinned Goldie Rogers after a high risk manueuver went awry. Rogers climbed up to the top rope to deliver a leaping Double Axe Handle, but lost his footing after Haku shook the ropes. Rogers crotched himself on the top rope and crumpled to the canvas for the easy pin.
2. "The Model" Rick Martel defeated "Super" Mario Mancini by submission with his Boston Crab at 3:23. Prior to the match, Martel insisted on spraying the ring with his "Arrogance" cologne while striking some runway poses for the fans.
3. The Big Bossman (w/ Night Stick) pinned Jimmy Jack Funk (w/ Lone Ranger Mask & Branding Iron) with the Hard Time Slam (Spinning Side Slam off the ropes) at 7:17.
4. "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton Jr. (w/ Suspicious Forearm Cast) over B. Brian Blair at 11:00. A scientific contest with both men displaying their technical skills and savvy in the ring. The wily Orton played possum on the mat and caught Blair climbing up to the top rope. Orton sprang to his feet, stunned Blair with an uppercut to the jaw and finished him off with the Superplex for the three count.
5. High Energy ("The Rocket" Owen Hart & "The Birdman" Koko B. Ware w/ pet Macaw Frankie) and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon) ended in a Double Count Out at 13:28. Heenan tried to swipe Frankie from ringside causing Koko Ware to leave the ring and give chase. Koko caught up with "The Brain" OOR and decked him with a Head Butt prompting Typhoon to also leave the ring and come to his manager's aid. All four men battled on the floor as Referee Mike Chioda put the ten count on both teams.
6. "Adorable" Adrian Adonis (w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) over Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake by Count Out at 14:56. Beefcake's former tag team partner Greg "The Hammer" Valentine joined the announcers' table to provide guest commentary for the match and got into an altercation with "The Barber" on the floor. Beefcake completely lost track of Referee Nick Kozak's ten count during the scuffle.
7. Intercontinental Tournament Match. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) and "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich were both Counted Out at 14:32. Savage kept bailing out of the ring at the slightest sign of trouble. The frustrated Von Erich finally had enough and chased him around ringside as Referee Mike Chioda put the ten count on both men. WWF President Jack Tunney has ordered a rematch for next week with a special stipulation - the bout will be a Lumberjack Match to keep Savage in the ring.

2. "Red Rooster" Terry Taylor defeated "Brooklyn Brawler" Steve Lombardi with the Cock of the Walk (Sharpshooter) submission hold at 4:13.
3. "The Natural" Butch Reed (w/ blonde hair & "The Doctor of Style" Slick) pinned "Leaping" Lanny Poffo from Downers Grove, IL with a Flying Clothesline off the 2nd rope at 7:49.
4. The Islanders (Tama & Haku) beat the Conquistadors at 10:05. Tama pinned Conquistador #2 with a Diving Splash off the top rope.
5. Steel Cage Match. The Big Bossman over Convict# 90271 Nailz at 13:24. In an unusual ending, Nailz could not get the cage door to open after bashing the Bossman with a hidden shiv. The Ex-Con finally gave up on the door and turned around right into the Bossman's Hard Time Slam (Spinning Side Slam). Ironically enough, the Bossman had no trouble opening the door and exiting to victory.
6. The match between "El Matador" Tito Santana and "The King" Harley Race (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) was ruled a No Contest by Referee John Benello after Race KO'd Santana with his Royal Scepter prior to the bell when El Matador refused to kneel before him in reverence.
7. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Jake "The Snake" Roberts (w/ Pet Snake Damian) at 12:07. Heenan reached into the ring and attempted to trip Roberts but failed. Jake spun around and pointed a threatening finger at "The Brain" allowing Mr. Perfect to sneak up from behind with a Schoolboy Roll Up for the pinfall.

3. "The African Dream" Akeem (w/ funky dance steps and "The Doctor of Style" Slick) over Battle Kat with the Air Africa Splash at 8:37.
4. WWF Tag Team Title Match. The champions, Demolition (Ax & Smash w/ Mr. Fuji) turned back the challengers, the Bushwhackers (Butch Miller & Cousin Luke Williams) at 11:51. Smash pinned Cousin Luke after a sneaky cane shot from Mr. Fuji went undetected by Referee Nick Kozak.
5. Steel Cage Match. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (w/ "Luscious" Johnny V.) defeated his former tag team partner Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake at 13:58. Brutus caught a bad break when his patented High Knee Smash inadvertently sent Valentine flying out of the cage door to victory.
6. Intercontinental Tournament Match. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) eliminated Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at 13:24. Referee Dave Hebner was knocked down after a Steamboat flying Drop Kick sent the Macho Man crashing into him. The Dragon tried to help Hebner get back to his feet but was rolled up from behind by Savage in the process for the pinfall.
7. The Main Event tag match between the duo of Hulk Hogan & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and their opponents "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase & Virgil was ruled a No Contest after Referee Nick Kozak was KO'd at 13:13. Dibiase tried to bash Hogan with the Million Dollar Belt but ended up blindsiding Kozak with it instead.

Gorilla Monsoon opened the telecast with a "Batten down the hatches !" before welcoming us to the "jam-packed" Kiel Center where "the capacity crowd" was "literally hanging from the rafters" : )
1. "High Roller" Barry O from "The Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada" went down for the three count after a Crescent Kick to the mush off the ropes from Haku at 4:17. Barry nearly pulled off an upset after a Backbreaker across the knee, but arrogantly covered Haku for a two count. Gorilla commented, "He'll never get him that way, Jess... you gotta hook the leg !"
2. King Kong Bundy (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) was disqualified by Referee Nick Kozak in his match against Jose Luis Rivera at 6:00. Bundy squashed his opponent with the Atlantic City Avalanche in the corner and then insisted on a five count from the referee on the subsequent pin attempt. Kozak refused to oblige and was tossed over the top rope and to the floor by Bundy to draw the DQ.
Gorilla said that King Kong Bundy was "bigger than I've ever seen him before" and referred to him as "The Walking Condominium". Monsoon pondered whether or not Bundy was weighed on a scale from the docks of New York. Gorilla also labeled Bundy's manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan as "a fountain of misinformation" ; )
3. Skinner (w/ a pouch full of alligator teeth and nasty black tobacco juice) pinned "Superfly" Sivi Afi after the Gatorbreaker (Inverted DDT) at 5:05.
After the bout, Skinner wickedly smiled at the camera with tobacco juice drooling down his chin prompting Gorilla to observe, "This guy's not all there, Jess." Skinner continued to stomp away on Afi as Monsoon shouted, "Come on Ref, get in there and do your job !!"
4. Bad News Brown defeated the Big Bossman from the Department of Correction in Cobb County, GA, at 8:50. With Referee Dave Hebner knocked down in the action, Brown jabbed the Bossman in the throat with his own nightstick and then secured the pin with a handful of tights as a woozy Hebner crawled over to make the three count.
After reviewing the footage on instant replay, Monsoon became quite animated by Brown's cheap shot with the nightstick and said "That'll give you a negative attitude in a hurry !" When Jesse Ventura insisted that he saw no foul play, Gorilla wearily shook his head and said "Gimme a break, Jess."
5. The Hart Foundation ( Bret "The Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart w/ manager Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart and annoying megaphone) over The Hillbillies (Uncle Elmer & Hillbilly Jim w/ lucky horseshoe) at 9:47. Jim grabbed the irritating Jimmy Hart by the throat on the apron, but was cradled from behind by "The Excellence of Execution" Bret Hart for the pinfall. Prior to the bell, the Hillbillies square danced in the ring to their entrance music with Ring Announcer Mike McGuirk to earn them extra babyface points. Gorilla clapped along to the hoedown and shouted, "A little Do-si-do ! I love it !"
Monsoon said that he would have liked to have seen what Hillbilly Jim had in mind for "that little pip-squeak" Jimmy Hart before the pin. He also added that Hart's megaphone was giving him an "Excedrin #49."
6. "El Matador" Tito Santana, who, according to Gorilla, "Never has a problem getting a date for Saturday night," was counted out in his match against "Outlaw" Ron Bass at 11:55. As the action spilled outside of the ring, Bass choked out "El Matador" on the floor with his bullwhip "Miss Betsy". Clutching his throat and gasping for breath, Santana was unable to make it back inside the ring in time to make Referee Nick Kozak's ten count.
During the match, Jesse Ventura drew the wrath of his announcing partner by referring to Tito Santana as "Chico Santana" in his color commentary.
Gorilla: "Drop Kick... and a beauty from Santana !! He nailed him !!"
Ventura: "Chico really got up there on that one, Gorilla !"
Gorilla: "Enough already ! It's "Tito", Jess !"
Ventura: "That's what I said, "Chico" ! Chico Santana !"
Gorilla: "Will you please stop !"
Ventura then insisted that Santana was a former taco vendor from Tijuana to which Gorilla replied, "That's highly unlikely, Jess."
7. Intercontinental Tournament Match. The Honky Tonk Man (w/ guitar, Jimmy Hart & Peggy Sue) defeated "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich in controversial fashion at 14:29. Peggy Sue pulled the Tornado's leg out from under him as he was suplexing the Honky Tonk Man back inside the ring "the hard way" from the apron. Honky fell on top of Von Erich and added a foot on the ropes for leverage to secure the pin. Gorilla lamented, "What a miscarriage of justice !!"

1. Tonight's opening bout was a highly competitive contest between "Quick Draw" Rick McGraw and "The Unpredictable" Johnny Rodz. McGraw had his opponent reeling with a pair of Drop Kicks, but was dumped over the top rope after Johnny caught him in mid air on a Flying Cross Body Press attempt. Rodz then leapt off the apron with a Double Axe Handle that sent Quick Draw crashing into Vince McMahon's monitor on the announcer's table. McGraw was unable to shake out the cobwebs in time to make Referee Lou Super's ten count. The time of the match was 8:35.
2. Frankie Williams teamed up with S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones to take on the tandem of "Dynamite" Jack Evans & "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe. Jones and Williams worked well together, but fell victim to a dirty double team maneuver by their rule-breaking opponents. Sharpe and Evans combined to drop Williams throat-first across the top rope while Referee Dick Kroll was ushering Special Delivery Jones back to his corner. Kroll turned around to find Evans making the cover and counted the pin at 6:26.
3. Dominic Denucci had some problems with veteran Charlie Fulton, but emerged victorious at 5:20. Fulton removed the tag rope from one of the corners and expertly hid it from Referee Jack Lotz detection to constantly choke Denucci with. Dominic was finally able to wrest it away and then introduced Fulton's face to a turnbuckle pad several times. Denucci finished off his dazed opponent with an Airplane Spin moments later.
4. Victor Rivera over Strong Kobyashi (w/ "Hollywood Fashion Plate" Classy Freddie Blassie) by disqualification at 8:00. Kobyashi grounded his opponent with a prolonged Shoulder Nerve Pinch, but found himself in trouble once Rivera got back to his feet. Victor mounted a spirited comeback with a barrage of punches prompting a desperate Kobyashi to go to his tights. Rivera was able to duck a handful of ceremonial salt to the eyes, but Referee Lou Super was not as fortunate. The blinded ref immediately called for the bell and had to be assisted to the back by ring attendants.
5. Stan "The Man" Stasiak (w/ The Grand Wizard of Wrestling) over Larry Zbyszko at 11:41. Stan the Man was unable to connect with his trademark Heart Punch, however he was able to capitalize on a distraction from his manager to score the winning pinfall. Zbyszko got into a heated exchange with the Grand Wizard allowing Stasiak to sneak up from behind with a quick roll up. Stan grabbed a handful of tights to hold his opponent's shoulders to the mat for the three count.
6. Waldo Von Erich (w/ Classy Freddie Blassie) scored a boatload of bonus points with some expert heel work on the mic, however it was not enough to defeat "The Eighth Wonder of the World" Andre the Giant in tonight's Main Event. Von Erich went to the eyes again and again to keep the Giant at bay, but was rocked by a Head Butt from his irate opponent. Andre then caught Von Erich with a Big Boot to the mush coming off the ropes and then took a seat on Waldo's chest while Referee Jack Lotz counted the 1-2-3. The time of the fall was 9:59.

1. Although he was suppose to be the fan favorite tonight, Rene Goulet heard boos (and lost points) when he was introduced by Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho. The fickle fans gave their allegiance, instead, to local grappler and the self-professed "Pride of Portland" Robbie Ellis. Ellis took this fairly even match up to the floor where he and Goulet traded haymakers in the aisle. Neither man was able to get themselves back inside the ring in time to make Referee Dick Woehrle's ten count. The time of the match was 5:47.
2. Hailing from the Isle of Malta and liberally employing the use of a hidden foreign object from his tights, Baron Scicluna gave Steve Travis fits in our second match. The Baron thought that he had things well in hand when he tossed his dazed opponent OOR, but the resolute Travis returned with a Sunset Flip back into the ring from the apron to hold Scicluna's shoulders to the mat for the three count at 7:21.
3. The "Iron Greek" Spiros Arion snatched Frank Coutinho's microphone away and lambasted the City of Portland to earn himself a nice bonus of heel points. Much to the crowd's displeasure, Arion would go on to defeat "Flying" Fred Curry at 6:58. A missed high risk leap from the top rope proved to be Flying Fred's undoing. Arion quickly applied his Over-the-Shoulder Backbreaker to his stunned opponent to gain the submission victory.
4. Pedro Morales pre-match interview with Vince McMahon at ringside was interrupted by the colorful WWWF Tag Team Champion Valiant Brothers who insisted that it was their mic time. Morales, who is known for his hot temper, let it get the better of him and got into a confrontation with the Valiants. As a result of the scuffle, Pedro lost 100 points for his match against Tor Kamata but persevered to win the bout. Kamata was pinned at the 10:18 mark after Morales connected with his Culebra Cannonball.
5. "Superstar" Billy Graham defeated Tony Garea at 7:57. The story of this match was Referee Dusty Feldbaumer who became tangled up in the action and was felled to the canvas. Graham's manager the Grand Wizard of Wrestling took advantage of the moment by sliding a trash can lid into the ring for the Superstar to use. Graham smashed the cover over Tony's noggin and quickly tossed the dented evidence OOR. Feldbaumer finally recovered to find the Superstar making the cover and counted the tainted pin.
6. The Valiant Brothers ("Handsome" Jimmy & "Luscious" Johnny) returned to ringside to defend their tag team belts against Chief Jay Strongbow and "High Chief" Peter Maivia in this evening's Main Event but not before first giving Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho some grief . The Brothers referred to Frank as "Jackson" and "Daddy-O" and asked him for the phone numbers of some loose women in Portland who they could hook up with after tonight's card. Mr. Coutinho politely declined their request and high tailed it out of the ring when the impatient challengers attacked from behind. After previous unsuccessful opportunities to unseat the Valiants, it looked as though this might finally be Maivia and Strongbow's night to win the gold. The Champions' manager Captain Louis Albano must have thought so as well and baited Strongbow into a brawl OOR. Albano was reeling from the Chief's barrage of Tomahawk Chops, but managed to cause Strongbow to be counted out in the process. The Valiants retain the WWWF Tag Team Championship at 11:09.

1. "Philadelphia's Favorite Son" S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones overcame a slow start to beat Jose Estrada in our opening contest. Estrada's offense featured a great deal of brawling and chokeholds. He maintained control by constantly going to the eyes to thwart any rallies that S.D. could muster. Estrada didn't do his homework, however, and tried sending Jones' famous hard noggin into the corner padding. S.D. merely smiled, rammed his own head a couple of more times, and then introduced Estrada's face to the turnbuckle. Jose was already on rubbery legs when Jones finished him off with a big Leaping Head Butt from the 2nd rope at 5:50.
2. Waldo Von Erich (w/ German WWII Helmet & "Hollywood Fashion Plate" Classy Freddie Blassie) drew a ton of heat in South Yarmouth with his goose-stepping "Heil Hitler" hand gesture to the crowd before going to work on Johnny Rivera. Brutal and methodical, Von Erich pummeled his much smaller opponent with a barrage of kicks, punches and body slams. A Backbreaker across the knee set Johnny up for the Blitkrieg Knee Drop from the top rope for the three count at 4:06.
3. "The Man of a Thousand Masks" Mil Mascaras defeated "Dynamite" Jack Evans (w/ "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe) at 6:02. It was pretty obvious that Evans was over matched against the popular masked man from Mexico City, however Larry Sharpe's frequent interference kept this bout interesting. Jack was enjoying a rare moment of offense until he telegraphed a Back Body Drop attempt. Mascaras caught him in a La Magistral cradle as he bounded off the ropes to hold Evan's shoulders to the mat for the winning pinfall.
4. "Country Boy" Haystacks Calhoun joined forces with Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko to face the trio of Butcher Vachon, the Golden Terror and Baron Scicluna in a Six Man Tag Contest. The heels huddled together to talk strategy as Garea's team was being introduced and jumped their foes before the bell. Ring Announcer Buddy Wagner high tailed it out of there as all six men went at it hot and heavy in the middle of the ring. Referee John Stanley finally got things under control with big Haystacks dominating the proceedings. The 601lb barefoot Country Boy from Morgan's Corner, Arkansas took a seat on the Terror's chest to score the three count at 6:43 after Scicluna and Vachon errantly flattened their own partner with a Double Clothesline.
5. Stan "The Man" Stasiak got some timely help from his manager the Grand Wizard of Wrestling to beat Gorilla Monsoon. Stasiak was on the receiving end for most of this bout prompting him to duck under the ropes and call for a "Time Out" to regroup. It was obvious to everyone in the building except Monsoon and Referee Billy Caputo that the Wizard slipped something into Stasiak's taped right hand while the two were conferring in the corner. Impatient with the delay, Gorilla charged right into a loaded punch from Stan the Man and was busted open on the forehead. Stasiak continued to go to work on the laceration until Caputo stopped the bout due to blood and deemed Monsoon unable to continue at 11:43.
6. Tonight's Main Event featured George "The Animal" Steele (w/ Captain Louis Albano) tangling with Chief Jay Strongbow. Steele took great liberties throughout this bout with a tongue depressor that he had hidden in his tights. Strongbow was eventually able to jar it loose from the Animal's grasp with a thunderous Running Knee Lift and then stunned his opponent with a flurry of Tomahawk Chops. Steele quickly bailed from the ring with the Chief in hot pursuit. The two continued to battle it out on the floor until the Animal sent Strongbow head-first into the ring post. Referee Wee Willie Weber immediately signaled for the bell and awarded the match to Strongbow by way of disqualification at 10:31.

1. Rene Goulet and Tony Russo had themselves quite a tussle in tonight's opening bout. Russo grabbed the early advantage by attacking his foe just as Goulet was climbing through the ropes to enter the ring for Joe McHugh's introductions. This battle would eventually end up on the floor where Russo came at Rene with a folding chair only to have it Drop Kicked into his own face. Goulet might have had a win via count out at that point had he chosen to get himself back inside the ring, but opted instead to give Russo a Body Slam onto the floor. The extra time spent OOR cost Rene dearly as Referee Jack Lotz counted both men out at 6:41.
2. Butcher Vachon was assisted by the unexpected appearance of Tank Patton in his corner as he prepared to face "Quick Draw" Rick McGraw. Commentator Vince McMahon speculated as to whether an alliance of sorts had recently developed between the Butcher and Patton. Whatever the case might be, McGraw was at a distinct disadvantage after being tossed OOR. Tank worked him over with a series of stomps and clubbing forearms to the back while Vachon held Referee Mario Savoldi's attention. The new partnership took a turn for the worse, however, when Patton accidentally bashed the Butcher in the forehead with his WWII helmet. Vachon stumbled right into a Flying Cross Body Press from McGraw for the winning pinfall at 7:51.
3. There was a delay before our next bout as Patton and Vachon engaged in a heated argument over who was to blame for the helmet incident. It looked as though the dispute might come to blows, but cooler heads finally prevailed. The Butcher and Tank shook hands and traded places as Dominic Denucci entered the ring to tangle with Patton. Apparently this partnership was simply not meant to be, While Dominic lost points for being distracted by Vachon's presence at ringside, the Butcher ultimately handed him the victory when he reached into the ring and inadvertently tripping Tank as he bounded off the ropes. Denucci quickly followed with a Splash from the 2nd rope to hold Patton's shoulders to the mat for the three count at 7:46. Vachon ran into the ring to apologize for his miscue but Tank wanted nothing to do with him any longer and stormed off.
4. “Hollywood Fashion Plate” Classy Freddie Blassie took great liberties with his Teak wood cane this evening and jabbed Steve Travis with it every chance he had to bolster “The Iron Greek” Spiros Arion’s chances for victory. As a result, Travis’ points total took a severe hit, but lady luck was on his side when Referee Jack Lotz caught the devious manager in the act. Arion was promptly DQ’d for his manager’s interference at 8:52.
5. The Grand Wizard of Wrestling escorted his Golden Grahams (“Crazy” Luke Graham & “Superstar” Billy Graham) to the ring to take on the popular tandem of Chief Jay Strongbow & “High Chief” Peter Maivia. The outcome of this fairly even contest would be decided upon by a roll on the Unusual Results’ Chart. Peter Maivia was being sent to the ropes courtesy of a Superstar Billy Graham Irish whip when the top rope suddenly snapped. Maivia took a bad tumble to the floor and was unable to continue at 11:48 due to injuries sustain in the nasty fall. The High Chief had to be assisted to the back for medical attention.
6. The ensuing impromptu intermission allowed ring attendants sufficient time to make the necessary repairs to hold our Main Event that featured “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff meeting “Polish Power” Ivan Putski. Koloff drew tremendous heat during his introduction and added gasoline to the fire by snatching away Joe McHugh’s microphone and spouting off Communist rhetoric on behalf of Mother Russia. Putski had the final say, however, after grabbing the mic away from the Russian Bear and bellowing “Polish Power” to a loud ovation. As it turned out, Putski would also have the last word in the bout. Koloff was jawing with some hecklers from the crowd when Polish Power caught his preoccupied opponent in a Schoolboy Roll Up from behind for the winning pin at 15:30.

Interview Segment with Jim Ross and "The First Couple of Professional Wrestling" Missy Hyatt & "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert. Eddie does the talking while Missy Hyatt files her nails. Gilbert is just beaming about the newest addition to the Hyatt & Hot Stuff International stable. Jim Ross presses him for the name but Eddie refuses to divulge it. Gilbert says it's strictly on a "need-to-know basis" and that Ross doesn't need to know. Missy laughs and nods in approval. She says that the mystery man's identity will be revealed when the time is right.
2. Devastation Incorporated's Eli the Eliminator (w/ General Skandor Akbar) defeated Ken Massey with the Tombstone Piledriver at 3:41.
3. "Hollywood" John Tatum (w/ Missy Hyatt & "Coast Connection" partner Jack Victory) over Angelo Mosca Jr. (w/ "Jersey Boy" teammate "Jumping" Joe Savoldi) via Count Out at 5:17. Savoldi got blindsided by a cheap shot from Jack Victory OOR, prompting Angelo Mosca to leave the ring and come to his partner's defense. Victory got the worst of the scuffle, but succeeded in getting Mosca counted out. Prior to the match, Victory, who also hails from New Jersey, drew a great deal of heat from the crowd by insisting that Reeser Bowden introduce him as "The True Jersey Boy".
4. The Kiwi Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Cousin Luke Williams w/ Lord Jonathan Boyd & New Zealand flag) defeated UWF rookie sensations Steve "Do It To It" Cox & Shane Douglas at 6:40. Cousin Luke snuck into the ring and joined Butch Miller in a Double Team Gutbuster on Cox behind the ref's back as Tommy Gilbert was sending an overzealous Shane Douglas back to his corner. Gilbert turned around just in time to count the pin for Miller.
5. "Louisville Slugger" Big Bubba Rogers (w/ Jim Cornette & ominous tennis racket) crushed Brickhouse Brown with a Diving Splash off the top rope at 7:13.
6. "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater (w/ valet Dark Journey) defeated Savannah Jack via Count Out at 14:35. With Dark Journey distracting Referee Carl Fergie, Slater rammed Savannah's head onto the timekeeper's bell at the announcers' table during OOR action. Savannah was unable to answer Fergie's ten count.
7. UWF Non-Title Match. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan surprised UWF Champion One Man Gang (w/ General Skandor Akbar) with a Small Package pinfall at 16:20 after the Gang was sent crashing into Akbar who had climbed up onto the apron. There was pandemonium and confusion in the ring as Duggan grabbed the UWF Championship Belt and strapped it around his waist. Many believed that the championship had changed hands until Reeser Bowden reminded them that it was a non-title match. Some unruly fans boo'd the announcement and pelted the ring with debris.
In a post-match interview with Jim Ross, Duggan petitioned for UWF Commissioner John Ayers to reward him with a title match against the One Man Gang. This brought out Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy from the back who reminded Duggan that he was the real Number One Contender and should get a crack at the championship first. Commissioner Ayers then came out and announced that Gordy and Duggan would meet next week to decide who would face the One Man Gang for the title in the upcoming "Showdown in Shreveport" UWF PPV spectacular.

2. "Mr. Superb" Steve Doll put up a gallant fight but was cradled in a Small Package by the Angel of Death (w/ Sunshine) at 6:33.
Interview segment with Jim Ross and Hyatt & Hot Stuff International. Jim Ross continues to press Eddie Gilbert for the name of the mysterious new member of their stable but Eddie refuses to divulge the man's identity. He talks instead about the tag team titles and the Fantastics. Eddie says that he's on a mission to win the belts and that he and Sting will be the number one contenders after they defeat Ted Dibiase and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams later on tonight.
3. "Gorgeous" Gary Young (w/Downtown Bruno) over Brad Armstrong at 6:36. Bruno bashed Armstrong from behind with a tire iron while Gary Young kept Referee Alfred Neely occupied. Young then leapt off the top rope with a Diving Knee Drop onto his prone opponent for the pinfall.
4. UWF TV Title Match. The challenger, "Unpredictable" Dick Slater (w/ valet Dark Journey) actually heard some cheers from the crowd but it was not enough to carry him to victory over the TV Champ "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel (w/ "The First Lady of Professional Wrestling" Missy Hyatt). Missy reached into the ring and pulled Slater's foot out from under him as he was attempting to body slam Landel. The "Nature Boy" fell on top and added a foot on the ropes for extra leverage to secure the pin. A cat fight ensued outside the ring between Dark Journey and Missy Hyatt with both girls grabbing a fistful of each other's hair.
5. Devastation Incorporated's "Ugandan Giant" Kamala (w/ handler Friday & General Skandor Akbar) defeated "Bruiser" Bob Sweetan by Count Out at 9:37. Kamala choked out Sweetan with an extension cord on the floor while Skandor Akbar distracted Referee Jerry Usher. Sweetan desperately tried to crawl back into the ring but was too late to make Usher's ten count.
6. Missy Hyatt's team of "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert (from "Every Girl's Dream" ) and Sting ("From Every Man's Nightmare" ) were defeated by the tandem of Ted Dibiase and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams at 12:49. Williams pinned Sting with the Oklahoma Stampede while Gilbert and Dibiase battled outside the ring. After the bout, a furious Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt stormed off and left Sting at ringside.
7. Number One Contender's Match as ordered by UWF Commissioner John Ayers. Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (w/ fellow Freebirds Michael P.S. Hayes & Buddy Jack Roberts) defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan at 14:48. This was pretty much a handicap match that saw several cheap shots from both Hayes and Roberts. Duggan was finally able to corral them on the apron with a Noggin Knocker but the distraction was just what Gordy needed to roll up "Hacksaw" from behind for the pinfall. Terry Gordy will face the UWF Champion One Man Gang for the title at the "Showdown in Shreveport" PPV spectacular.
After the bout, a disappointed Jim Duggan vented his frustration to Jim Ross. "You can never wrestle just one Freebird at a time !! It's always two against one and three against one !! The deck always has to be stacked in their favor and I'm sick and tired of it !! John Ayers and Bill Watts have to do something about this right now !!!"
UWF "Showdown in Shreveport" PPV Results (Circa Late 80's) - Hirsch Coliseum, Shreveport, LA. Att: 8,323.

2. General Skandor Akbar's Devastation Incorporated (Bad Leroy Brown & "Wild" Bill Irwin) beat Los Guerreros (Chavo & Mando Guerrero) at 5:37. The devious Akbar hit Mando Guerrero with a Low Blow while Bill Irwin distracted Referee Ronnie West. Leroy Brown made the cover as West turned around to count the pin.
3. "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol over the huge Russian Kortsia Korchenko (w/ Downtown Bruno) by submission with the Las Vegas Leglock at 6:50.
4. The crafty "Bullet" Bob Armstrong pinned "Timekeeper" Mike George with a Lateral Guillotine at 8:18.
5. UWF Tag Team Title Match. The challengers, the Kiwi Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Cousin Luke Williams w/ Lord Jonathan Boyd) defeated the Champions, the Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers). The Sheepherders mauled Rogers with their New Zealand Flag while Lord Jonathan Boyd kept Referee Tommy Gilbert occupied. Rogers was busted open after several flag pole shots and bled profusely. Gilbert examined the wound and stopped the match due to blood at 12:18. The Fantastics retain the belts despite the loss.
6. "Gentleman" Chris Adams (w/ Sunshine) over Sting (w/ Missy Hyatt & "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert) at 13:45. In an unusual turn of events, Gilbert turned on his tag team partner and threw a fireball in Sting's face. The blinded Sting walked right into Chris Adams' Superkick leading to the pinfall.
To make matters even more bizarre, Terry Taylor, who was forced to leave the UWF in July after losing a match to Eddie Gilbert, ran into the ring and flattened his former tag team partner Chris Adams with his patented Flying Five Arm. Taylor and Gilbert then put the boots to both Sting and Adams before leaving the ring together. A stunned Jim Ross said that he thought he would never live to see the day when such bitter rivals as Taylor and Gilbert would align themselves with one another. Ross lamented, "Hyatt and Hot Stuff International have finally revealed their newest member."
7. UWF Title Match. The Champion One Man Gang (w/ General Skandor Akbar) turned back the challenge of Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (w/ fellow Freebirds Michael P.S. Hayes & Buddy Jack Roberts) at 16:54. Gordy was whipped into Buddy Roberts who had climbed up onto the apron to interfere. The Gang rolled up the staggering Gordy from behind with a handful of tights to make the pin and retain the UWF Title.

2. Former babyface Terry Taylor (w/ "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "The First Lady of Professional Wrestling" Missy Hyatt) defeated "The Raging Greek" Mike Pappas at 3:08. Taylor wasted no time in fitting right in with the Hyatt & Hot Stuff International stable by slugging Pappas with Missy Hyatt's loaded Gucci handbag while Eddie Gilbert kept Referee Rick Ferrara occupied. Ferrara finally turned around just in time to count the pin. Taylor was pelted with beer cups and insults as he returned to the locker room with Gilbert and Hyatt.
3. Porkchop Cash surprised "Gorgeous" Gary Young (w/ Downtown Bruno) with a Small Package at 5:30 to take the duke.
4. The Coast Connection ("Hollywood" John Tatum & Jack Victory w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated the UWF's super rookie tandem of Shane Douglas & Steve "Do It To It" Cox at 7:27. Tatum used a handful of tights to pin Cox after a Dirty Double Team behind Referee Jerry Usher's back.
5. Sam Houston beat Eli the Eliminator of Devastation Incorporated (w/ General Skandor Akbar) at 8:29. A very competitve match that was decided by Houston's Bulldog Finisher after several near pinfalls by both men.
6. "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol defeated "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer by Count Out at 11:42. "The Unpredicatable" Dick Slater wandered down to ringside with his valet Dark Journey and immediately instigated a confrontation with Buzz. The two were separated from blows but the altercation led to Sawyer's count out.
7. In the Main Event, Lord Humongous (w/ Downtown Bruno) over "Dr. Death" Steve Williams by Count Out at 13:40. During OOR action, Humongous Chokeslammed "Dr. Death" through the announcers' table while his manager distracted Referee Jerry Usher. Williams was slow to recover and unable to answer Usher's ten count.

1. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, who is hearing the cheers instead of jeers since parting ways with Paul E. Dangerously’s “Dangerous Alliance”, took tonight’s opening bout over Randy Barber at 4:00. Eaton had to contend with the presence of the Alliance’s “Enforcer” Arn Anderson who had joined the announcers’ table to provide guest commentary. Despite the distraction, Beautiful Bobby caught Barber in a Swinging Neckbreaker before pinning him with the Alabama Jam (Leg Drop from the top rope) moments later.
2. Kevin Sullivan’s Varsity Club (Captain Mike Rotundo & “Dog-Faced Gremlin” Rick Steiner) beat the tandem of Erik Watts and the Italian Stallion at 5:39. The up and coming Watts shined for his team in the early going, but the momentum swung in the Varsity Club’s favor once the Stallion tagged in. Using dirty double teams and frequent tags in and out, Steiner and Rotundo dominated the balance of the match. The Dog-Faced Gremlin hit a Belly to Belly Suplex off the ropes to put the Stallion away for the three count.
3. “Heavy Metal” Van Hammer (w/ Electric Guitar) cut a stirring pre-match promo to gain himself extra points, but it was not enough to help him defeat Sid Vicious. The turning point of the match came when Referee Randy Eller was inadvertently knocked to the canvas after being sandwiched between the two grapplers in the corner. Vicious seized the moment by bashing Hammer over the back with his own guitar. Eller finally shook out the cobwebs to find Sid making the cover and counted the pin.
4. Snobby blueblood “Lord” Steven Regal used his Union Jack not once but twice to defeat “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes by count out at 8:20. Regal got the early jump during Ring Announcer Rick Stewart’s introductions with a flagpole smash from behind while Dustin was removing his ring jacket. The Brit struck again when the action moved OOR. Regal jabbed the flagpole into the Natural’s ribs as they battled on the floor. Rhodes was unable to recover in time to make Referee Nick Patrick’s ten count.
5. “Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff certainly had the edge in points over adversary Deadeye Dick, but Colonel Parker and Bunkhouse Buck’s presence at ringside kept this bout interesting. Koloff, who was injured at the hands of Parker’s men a few months back, gained some measure of revenge with a victory tonight. Dick was dazed after being corralled into a noggin knocker with Bunkhouse Buck who had climbed up onto the apron to interfere, and then leveled by a Russian Sickle from Nikita for the winning pin at 7:04.
6. United States Title Match. Challenger “All-American” Ron Simmons won the gold by defeating the defending Champ the Great Muta (w/ “Playboy” Gary Hart) at 12:06. There were lots of twists and turns in this hard fought Championship match. Muta’s attempt at spraying his mysterious Green Mist into Simmons’ face was thwarted when the All-American was able to get an arm up in the nick of time to shield his eyes. Simmons then fought back with a barrage of punches, but a Flying Shoulder Tackle from the second rope found nothing but canvas. Sensing victory, Muta immediately scaled the top turnbuckle to deliver his trademark Moonsault finisher, but landed on his challenger’s raised knees. Simmons then cradled his doubled-over opponent in a Small Package for the 1-2-3. Ron Simmons is the newwwwwww United States Champion !

1. "Scrap Iron" Bill Ford could muster little in the way of competition for the giant Argentinian El Gigante (WWF's Giant Gonzalez). Ford was driven into the mat with a Giant Body Slam and then greeted by Gigante's Clawhold Submission when he got back to his feet. The time of the match was 2:28.
2. WCW newcomer "Mean" Mark Callous continued to impress with a lop-sided victory over the normally combative Ricky Santana. Even Mean Mark's manager Teddy "Peanut Head" Long got in on the action by reaching into the ring and tripping Ricky as he bounded off the ropes. Santana was polished off with the Heat Seeking Missile (Rope Walk Diving Elbow Drop) moments later at 3:35. Callous would go on to greatness as The Undertaker in the WWF.
3. The State Patrol (Lt. James Earl Wright & Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker) took their lumps tonight but received a gift count out victory against the dysfunctional duo of Cactus Jack & Abdullah the Butcher. Cactus absolutely planted Parker with a Double Arm DDT, but opted to give his trademark "Bang Bang" six-gun hand gesture and banter with some hecklers in the crowd rather than go for what was sure to be a certain pinfall. This behavior drew the wrath of Abdullah who pulled Jack out of the ring by his hair and began brawling with his partner around ringside. Fans were sent scattering in every direction as the melee spilled over into the crowd. Referee Lee Scott officially counted Cactus out at 5:54.
4. Marcus Alexander Bagwell stunned the flamboyant Johnny B. Badd with a surprise pin at 7:56. Badd was in command throughout this bout, but did a lot of showboating instead of staying on his opponent. Bagwell was sent hard into the corner, but eluded his opponent's delayed charge after Badd wasted valuable time shadow boxing for the fans. Bagwell managed to hop up to the 2nd rope and catch Johnny with a Sunset Flip out of the corner for the winning three count.
5. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson defeated former Dangerous Alliance stable mate "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton in a Steel Cage match at 12:37. It looked as though Eaton would win this one after Anderson was catapulted face-first into a cage wall. Beautiful Bobby had all but climbed out when he abruptly stopped at the top turnbuckle and leapt off with his Alabama Jam Leg Drop. Arn managed to roll out of the way at the last second and then added insult to injury by catching Eaton with a Low Blow to escape the cage.
6. Scott Steiner squared off against "Ravishing" Rick Rude in tonight's Main Event. Despite holding the edge in points, Rude couldn't put Scotty away with his Rude Awakening Hangman's Neckbreaker. The bout ended up on the floor where both men took turns ramming one another into the steel barricade railing surrounding ringside. Referee Randy Anderson's ten count ran out as the battle continued back up the aisle toward the dressing room. The time of the match was 9:11.

1. "The Computerized Man of the 90's" Terrence Taylor spent a great deal of time conferring with his valet and Executive Director of the York Foundation Alexandra York prior to the bell. The two seemed engrossed in a program that was running on Ms. York's laptop computer. Referee Nick Patrick finally had enough and threatened to award the match to Taylor's opponent Tim Frye by way of forfeit if the pony-tailed yuppie didn't get down to business. Taylor pleaded with the official for more time and then sucker punched Frye to unceremoniously get the match underway. Apparently the program produced a winning formula because Terrence made quick work of his opponent. Frye was pinned by a Five Arm off the ropes after only 1:45.
2. The State Patrol (Lt. James Earl Wright & Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker) did not care for the Young Pistols (Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smothers) new entrance music and savagely attacked the popular duo with their nightsticks during the Pistols' ring entrance. Smothers and Armstrong lost 250 points from the assault to put them behind the eight ball early on but still managed to pull out a victory. Smothers connected with his Jaw Jacker (Flying Back Elbow Smash from the 2nd rope) while his partner elevated Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker in a Bear Hug. Parker was seeing stars and counting the lights as Referee Bill Alphonso counted the pin at 5:19.
3. Pompous blueblood Lord Steve Regal rudely interrupted "Heavy Metal" Van Hammer's interview with Tony Schiavone to boost his points total, however his snide remarks seemed to fire up the rocker onto victory. Van Hammer was able to put the arrogant Brit away with his Hammer Rocks (Slingshot) Suplex at 7:29. Flustered by the pinfall, Lord Steven clobbered Hammer from behind with his own electric guitar and left him laid out in the ring.
4. Johnny B. Badd, in all his Little Richard flamboyance, berated the City of Gainesville over Ring Announcer Rhubarb Jones' microphone to a loud chorus of boos and jeers. The extra heel points, along with some timely interference by his manager Teddy "Peanut Head" Long, helped carry Johnny to victory over "Rap Master" P.N. News. Long behaved himself for the most part, but blinded the Rap Master with a blast from Badd's confetti cannon when the action moved OOR. Johnny managed to roll himself back inside the ring in time, but News was counted out by Referee Nick Patrick at 6:54.
5. Never at a loss for words, the Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy "Jam" Garvin & Michael P.S. Hayes w/ Big Daddy Dink) impressed the fans with some new catchphrases during a pre-match interview with Tony Schiavone. Their opponents the rugged Texicans (Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce) vowed to shut the 'Birds' big mouths and went to great extremes to make good on their boast. Slazenger smashed a folding chair over Jimmy Jam's noggin right in front of Referee Bill Alphonso to draw the DQ for his team at 7:38.
6. "The Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff got the early jump on his opponent in tonight's Main Event when "Stunning" Steve Austin became distacted by a heckler in the crowd during the ring introductions. Koloff maintained his edge well into the bout and had Austin in several pinning predicaments. Sensing desperation, Stunning Steve's valet Lady Blossom tossed brass knucks into the ring to try and help turn the tide of the battle, but Koloff was able to get to them first. The opportunistic Austin then went down like a ton of bricks from a phantom punch while Blossom implored Referee Randy Anderson to check the Russian Nightmare's hand. Sure enough, the official found Nikita still holding the knucks and immediately disqualified him at 8:09 while Austin and his jezebel high-tailed it to the back.

1. What the heck ?? Flyin' Brian Pillman opened the broadcast with a ringing endorsement for the up and coming Erik Watts as the youngster prepared to take on his nemesis Chris Benoit in tonight's opening contest. Pillman's promo seemed to fire up both the crowd and Watts himself as Erik carried the match to his opponent once the action got under way. Things looked grim for Benoit after he was caught climbing up to the top rope and thrown off the turnbuckle to the canvas below, however Referee Randy Eller was toppled in the process and unable to count Watts' subsequent pin attempt. Erik then gestured to the fans that he was ready to apply his STF (Stepover Toehold Facelock Submission) when he turned around right into a Flying Clothesline from none other than the fickle Brian Pillman who springboarded himself into the ring from the apron. Eller shook out the cobwebs to find Benoit making the cover on the dazed Watts and counted the 1-2-3 at 7:17.
2. The patriotic Ranger Ross got off to a bad start after pre-match sneak attack from Inmate #3260 Death Row who ambushed him during Gary Cappetta's ring introductions. Death Row used his size modifier to great advantage by crushing the Ranger on a Corner Avalanche, but ran into a raised combat boot on a second attempt. Ross was on a roll until both men KO'd one another with simultaneous clotheslines off the ropes. Neither grappler could get back to their feet in time to make Referee Lee Scott's ten count. The time of the match was 6:24.
3. Johnny Gunn cut an exciting promo to earn himself some bonus points from the fans but couldn't keep the good vibe going once his match with the Great Muta got under way. Gunn was stunned by a Flying Handspring Back Elbow Smash after a hard corner whip and collapsed to the canvas. Muta then followed up with a Roaring Elbow Drop before going up top to deliver his signature Moonsault for the three count at 6:10.
4. Cactus Jack (w/ Missing Teeth & Marbles) was in the driver's seat against Scott Steiner after scoring a heap of points with his Cheating modifier. If that wasn't enough, the man from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico also drew a lot of heat from the Greensboro crowd to boost his Heel status. It didn't take long for Cactus to take the match OOR where he is most in his element. To his credit, Steiner held his own and reversed a head smash into the camera crew's boom mic. Jack's foot then became tangled up in an extension cord as he tried to make his way back toward the ring. By the time he had freed himself, Referee Randy Eller's count had run out. Your winner by Count Out at 8:55 - Scott Steiner.
Tony Schiavone interviewed Brian Pillman and demanded an explanantion for his reprehensible actions with Erik Watts earlier in the program. Pillman was in full heel mode and cut a scathing promo on Erik's father "Cowboy" Bill Watts. His words were difficult to hear at times amidst the chorus of boos and jeers from the crowd, but that did not deter him in the least from cutting loose. Pillman claimed that he was snubbed by the elder Watts when he left the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals to become a professional wrestler. "You said that I didn't have what it takes to make it in this business !! Remember that, Bill ??" Flyin' Brian snarled into the camera, "Well, why don't you ask your son if I have what it takes now !! Schiavone tried to interject himself but Pillman grabbed the mic away from him, "You know who doesn't have what it takes ?? Erik Watts !! That's who !! He's been riding on your coat tails, Bill !! You tried to shove him down all these peoples' throats but I exposed him for what he is - a mama's boy who has no place in wrestling, much less WCW !! " With that, Pillman threw down the microphone and stormed back to the dressing room under a barrage of soda cups and popcorn thrown by the fans.
5. The young team of 2 Cold Scorpio & Marcus Alexander Bagwell took a trip to Nastyville in the hopes of unseating the Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs) as WCW Tag Team Champions. Bagwell and Scorpio were able to effectively utilize their speed to offset the champions brawn and brawling, however the Nasty Boy's savvy came through in the end. Saggs was taking a beating in the corner, but grabbed the front of 2 Cold Scorpio's tights as he was dropping to the seat of his pants. Scorpio was yanked face-first into the turnbuckle and fell backward to the mat. Saggs quickly put his feet on the ropes for leverage to hold Scorpio's shoulders to the mat for the winning pinfall at 7:44. The Nasty Boys retain the WCW Tag Team Championship.
6. "Ravishing" Rick Rude (w/ Monogrammed Towel & Madusa Micelli) made his way to the ring to Sade's "Smooth Operator" to take on a man called Sting (w/ Spikey Blonde Hair, Face Paint & Jungle Yell) in this evening's Main Event. Before locking up, Rude swiveled his hips and flexed his muscles for all the ladies in the crowd, but only seemed to impress his own valet who nodded in approval. Once the action finally got under way, Sting carried the battle to his arrogant adversary until he was tripped by Madusa while being whipped to the ropes. Rude tried to capitalize on his sudden good fortune but missed with a Knee Drop from the top turnbuckle. The high risk blunder would change the entire complexion of the contest. With his opponent noticably limping after the missed leap, Sting immediately went to work on the injured leg. It was not long before the Ravishing One found himself trapped in Sting's Scorpion Leglock with the ropes hopelessly out of reach. Madusa tossed her man's monogrammed towel into the ring prompting Referee Johnny Boone to call for the bell and award the match to the Stinger at 14:52.
