Annnouncers: Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel
Referees: John Benello, Terry Yorkston & Danny Davis
1. The unorthodox "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty tried to attack before the bell, but his opponent Paul Roma was ready for him and beat Doherty to the punch. Roma continued to hold the advantage until the Duke resorted to using a hidden foreign object that he had pulled from his tights. Roma was eventually able to pry the weapon away from Doherty, but Referee John Benello caught him holding the object and signaled for the DQ at 6:13. Roma pleaded his case but Benello would hear none of it.
2. Uncle Elmer & Hillbilly Jim had the fans clapping along to some fancy fiddle music as they did a little square dancing in the ring. The hillbillies would go on to defeat "High Roller" Barry O and his partner "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Iron Mike Sharpe at 5:39. Jim took a page out of the Hulkster's playbook and landed a Running Leg Drop on Barry. He then tagged in Elmer who followed up with a Leg Drop of his own to score the pinfall.
3. Tiger Chung Lee over the Tonga Kid via Count Out at 5:50. Lee tried to keep his high flying opponent grounded on the mat with a prolonged shoulder nerve pinch, but Tonga eventually made it back to his feet and fought back with a leaping Head Butt. A Flying Cross Body then sent both men toppling over the top rope and crashing hard to the floor. As the two continued to battle OOR, Lee scored a direct hit with a Kendo Stick smash across the back. Tonga was unable to answer Referee Danny Davis' ten count.
4. "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff was in no mood to hear one of "Leaping" Lanny Poffo's corny poems and attacked Poffo before he had finished reciting it. Lanny never seemed to recover from the ambush and barely got in any offense at all. A pulverizing Powerslam off the ropes by Mr. Wonderful was followed by a falling elbow smash to the head. Leaping Lanny was finished off by Orndorff's patented Piledriver moments later. The time of the match was 6:29.
5. Veteran Pedro Morales received a huge welcome from Lake Placid during his ring entrance. The bonus points came in handy against his massive opponent King Kong Bundy who was accompanied to ringside by his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Morales quickness enabled him to avoid the dreaded Atlantic City Avalanche causing Bundy to stagger backward from the corner collision right into a pinning predicament. Heenan raced in to spoil the three count and draw the disqualification at 8:48.
6. The Main Event featured a tag team contest pitting the Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumping" Jim Brunzell) against Classy Freddie Blassie's Super Powers (Nikolai Volkoff & the Iron Sheik). Referee Danny Davis had a great deal of difficulty keeping order in this match and called for the bell at 10:33 when the bout completely broke down into a four man free-for-all. The official decision was a Double Disqualification.

1. Wild Samoan Samu (w/ Afa & Sika) opened the show with a win over Sal Bellomo at 4:12. Samu was stunned by a mule kick to the jaw but rebounded with a fierce Head Butt to stagger Bellomo before delivering the trademark Samoan Drop to gain the three count.
2. Veteran Terry Gibbs proved to be a handful for young David Sammartino. Gibbs took the fight to David with some rough house tactics in the early going but crashed into the turnbuckle on a missed corner charge. Sammartino won the match moments later with a Powerslam off the ropes at 5:52.
3. Brutus Beefcake (w/ "Luscious" Johnny V.) was caught off guard by opponent Jose Luis Rivera while strutting and showboating for the fans. A couple of near pinfalls on pinning predicaments soon woke Brutus up however. Beefcake caught his opponent flush on the jaw with a High Knee Smash to put Rivera away at 4:25.
4. "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart's Hart Foundation (Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart & Bret "The Hitman" Hart) defeated the Cobra Corps. (Sergeant Slaughter & Corporal Kirchner) at 8:56. Kirchner was bopped from behind by a Jimmy Hart megaphone smash during a ring full of chaos. Referee Dick Kroll found Neidhart on top of the KO'd Corporal and counted the pin.
5. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka gave the fans (including, perhaps, a young Rob Van Dam in attendance ?) what they came to see - the Superfly Splash from the top rope to put Hercules away at 8:13. Hercules had boasted in a prematch interview with "Mean" Gene Okerlund that he would make Snuka submit to his Torture Rack Backbreaker but he never had an opportunity to apply the hold. Hercules was decked by a Reverse Chop to the throat as he bounded off the ropes to set up the finish.
6. The Main Event featured an Intercontinental Title bout pitting the Champion Magnificent Muraco (w/ devious manager Mr. Fuji) defending his crown against challenger Tito Santana. These two have met before with similar results. Muraco was counted out at 15:23 after Santana reversed a smash on the floor with Fuji's cane. Muraco retains the Intercontinental Championship.

1. Rick Steamboat's younger brother Vic got a DQ win the hard way over "Wild" Bill Irwin in tonight's opening contest. Irwin grew increasingly frustrated with his inability to mount any sustained offense against the speedy Steamboat and choked Vic out with a bullrope that he had brought with him to ringside. Referee Danny Pleches immediately called for the bell at 5:23. Steamboat was still gasping for breath when his hand was raised in victory.
2. "Gentleman" Chris Adams showed his mean side after having his prematch interview with Johnny Weaver interrupted by opponent Private Terry Daniels. Adams repeatedly pulled Daniels up on several two counts before ending things with his patented Superkick to the jaw at 4:09.
3. The Batten Twins (Brad & Bart) had a battle on their hands against Killer Tim Brooks and his partner Kelly Kiniski. Brooks thought that he had won the match for his team after reversing Brad Batten's Small Package behind Referee Dick Raines' back and putting Kiniski on top, but Bart Batten snuck into the ring and re-reversed the cradle while the official ushered Killer back to his corner. Raines turned around to find Brad on top and counted the pin at 8:23.
4. Mike Von Erich got the duke over Koko Ware (w/ PYT tag team partner Norvell Austin) by disqualification at 7:21. Koko was in a heap of trouble and flailing away in the famous Von Erich Claw prompting Norvell Austin to run in and break up the submission hold for the DQ.
5. "Cowboy" Scott Casey (w/ Sunshine) over "The Handsome Half Breed from Highland Park" Gino Hernandez (w/ Nicola) at 8:55. As it turned out, there was as much action OOR between the two valets as there was inside the squared circle. The end came when Gino held Sunshine from behind for a slap across the face from Nicola, but took the strike instead when Casey's valet managed to escape at the last second. Casey seized the moment with a quick school boy roll up on the stunned Hernandez for the three count.
6. In the Main Event, the Dingo Warrior (and future Ultimate Warrior in the WWF) emerged victorious over "Maniac" Mark Lewin (w/ Manager "Playboy" Gary Hart) at 9:15. The Dingo escaped a serious jam when he managed to reach the ropes to break his opponent's Singapore Sleeper. The action eventually moved OOR where Gary Hart accidentally bashed Lewin in the head with his loaded shoe. The Maniac was slow to recover from the blow and was counted out by Referee Dick Raines before he could roll himself back inside the ring in time for the match to continue.

1. World Class TV Champ Brian Adias got the duke over "Lone Star" Rusty Brooks by way of disqualification at 4:17. Big Rusty took offense to this being a non-title match up and accused Adias of being yellow in a pre-match interview with Marc Lowrance. Brooks used a lot of dirty tactics in this bout, but none more so than bashing Brian in the head with his own Television Belt. Referee Bronco Lubich immediately called for the bell and awarded the match to a dazed Adias.
2. It looked as though the match between sleazy Jake "The Snake" Roberts and "Golden Boy" Chick Donovan would never take place. Jake and his valet Nicola Roberts got into a heated confrontation with Sunshine as they passed the announcers' table on their way to the ring. Security personnel had to step in to keep the ladies separated. Once order was restored, Roberts made relatively quick work of his opponent. The Snake gave Chick not one but two vicious DDTs before allowing Referee Marvin Jones to count the pin. Jake smiled wickedly at Sunshine as he covered the KO'd Donovan. The time of the fall was 3:38.
3. The One Man Gang (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) caught a break in his victory over "Master G" George Wells. With his man reeling in the corner from a barrage of punches, a desperate Gary Hart removed one of his shoes and tried to slip it into the ring for the Gang to use. Wells intercepted the loaded loafer, however, and clocked both Hart and the Gang with it to draw the DQ from Referee David Manning at 6:29.
4. Iceman King Parsons (w/ Rooty Poot Stick) defeated Tommy Lane (w/ Rock & Roll RPM partner "Maniac" Mike Davis) at 6:40. With Referee Bronco Lubich knocked to the canvas, Tommy Lane held the Iceman from behind for a dirty double team opportunity with Davis. Maniac Mike came off the top rope with Parson's Rooty Poot Stick, but clubbed his own partner with it when the Iceman escaped Lane's grasp at the last second. Lubich recovered to find Parson's making the cover on his KO'd opponent and counted the 1-2-3.
5. The Grappler (Len Denton under a mask) beat Kevin Von Erich by disqualification at 8:43. Once again the referee took a bad bump in the ring. This time it was Marvin Jones who was flattened after being sandwiched against the turnbuckle following a corner whip. The woozy official was seeing stars rather the Grappler flailing away in Von Erich's Iron Claw Hold Submission. Von Erich released the hold and tried to help Jones get back to his feet, but was sent crashing into the ref following a push from behind by the Grappler. Jones signaled for the bell and raised the Grappler's hand in victory. Von Erich vehemently protested the DQ but Jones' decision stood.
6. The Texas Tag Team Titles were on the line in the Main Event as the Simpsons (Steve & Shaun) defended their belts against Percy Pringle's tandem of Matt Borne & "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer. Referee David Manning had his hands full trying to maintain any semblance of order in this championship match. Amidst a ring full of chaos, Shaun Simpson was able to reverse a smash on Matt Borne with Percy's walking stick to score the winning pinfall at 10:30 and help the popular South African tag team retain their titles.

Referees: Bronco Lubich, Dick Raines & Rick Hazzard
1. The Zulu Warrior (w/ Tribal Mask, Spear & Face Paint) kicked things off with a victory over Mike "Hammer" Reed. Zulu was slowed by some eye rakes and choke holds, but pretty much dominated his opponent from the opening bell. Reed was caught in a Bear Hug as he bounded off the ropes and submitted at 2:28.
2. "Private" Terry Daniels brought out the mean streak in "Maniac" Matt Borne when he interrupted a pre-match interview with Bill Mercer. Borne was on the brink of disqualification throughout the proceedings, but went too far when he clubbed Daniels from behind with his manager Percy Pringle III's walking stick. Referee Dick Raines wasted no time in calling for the bell at 4:56. Borne seemed quite pleased with himself despite the DQ.
3. The newly formed tag team of Brooks & Brooks ("Killer" Tim & "Lone Star" Rusty) wasted no time in making a first impression on both the Sportatorium crowd and their opponents the Batten Twins (Brad & Bart). The Battens were attacked from behind with folding chairs by their opponents during their ring entrances and lost 250 points for the ambush yet persevered to win the match. Bart Batten scored the winning pinfall on Rusty with a Flying Forearm off the ropes at 6:09.
4. Koko Ware received a lot of help from his Pretty Young Things partner Norvell Austin in a win over "Chief" Mark Youngblood. Austin's constant interference provoked the Chief into bailing from the ring and chasing Norvell all the way back to the dressing room. Referee Bronco Lubich's ten count ran out before Youngblood could make his way back to ringside. The time of the match was 7:06.
5. "Gentleman" Chris Adams (w/ Nicola Roberts) over "Cowboy" Scott Casey (w/ Sunshine) at 9:13. Casey seemed poised for victory after Adams ran into his raised boot on an ill-fated corner charge, however the Cowboy became distracted by a cat fight OOR between the grapplers' two feuding valets. The hesitation allowed Adams to recover and catch the preoccupied Casey flush on the jaw with his patented Superkick for the pin.
6. Kevin Von Erich took on Black Bart in tonight's Main Event. While Bart was able to elude the famous Von Erich Claw Hold, he could not avoid Kevin's Diving Cross Body Press from the top rope. The high risk maneuver held Bart's shoulders to the mat just long enough to gain the winning three count at 12:18.

1. Spike Huber (w/ Hard Hat) defeated Frankie "The Thumper" Lancaster via Count Out at 6:01. The rugged Lancaster took this match to the floor where he thought he would have an advantage over his smaller opponent. Frankie was indeed getting the better of the fight until he rushed at Huber with a steel trash can. Spike saw him coming, however, and Drop Kicked it into the Thumper's face. Lancaster was dazed and unable to make Referee David Manning's ten count.
2. "Crippler" Rip Oliver attacked his opponent "Golden Boy" Chick Donovan before the bell to gain the upper hand and never relinquished control. As always, Oliver employed his controversial taped thumb to great effect by continuously jabbing it into Chick's throat. The Crippler put Donovan away with a Shoulderbreaker at 3:39.
3. Prior to his bout with "The Handsome Half Breed from Highland Park" Gino Hernandez, the charismatic Buck "Rock & Roll" Zumhoffe gave Nicola Roberts some lip while he was being interviewed by Bill Mercer at the announcers' table and paid dearly for it. Zumhoffe took a chair shot to the back from Gino and lost 250 points in the process. Zumhoffe never seemed to recover from the ambush and was pinned by a Reverse Cross Body Press from the top rope at 5:36.
4. Mark & Chris Youngblood also had their ringside interview interrupted. The Rock & Roll RPMs Tommy Lane & Mike Davis had some choice words for their opponents after snatching away Bill Mercer's microphone. The bad blood carried over into the match with both teams blatantly disregarding Referee David Manning's repeated warnings to abide by the rules. The official rendered a Double Disqualification at 9:01 after being simultaneously shoved down to the mat by Mike Davis and Chris Youngblood.
5. The popular Iceman King Parsons emerged victorious over "Playboy" Gary Hart's "Mongolian Monster" Killer Khan. Things went downhill in a hurry for Khan after his trademark Knee Drop from the top rope found nothing but canvas. A desperate Gary Hart tried to intervene by bopping the Iceman with his loaded loafer, but inadvertently hit his own man with the shoe instead. Khan staggered right into the Rumper Stumper (Flying Butt Bump) to give Parsons the win at 8:23.
6. "Modern Day Warrior" Kerry Von Erich found out the hard way why he best beware of the Lady in Red when he defended his Texas Heavyweight Title against "Gentleman" Chris Adams. Clad in a dazzling sequin red dress, Lubbock's own Nicola Roberts (later known as "Baby Doll" ) left the announcers' table to be in the challenger's corner and nearly won him the championship. With Adams trapped in the famous Von Erich Claw and on the verge of submission, Nicola struck from behind with a Low Blow punch between the wickets to bring Von Erich to his knees. Adams appeared to win the Title when he pounced on Kerry for the three count, but David Manning ran into the ring to inform fellow official Bronco Lubich of Nicola's dirty deed. Lubich immediately reversed his decision and awarded the match to Von Erich by DQ at 11:41. Kerry Von Erich retains the Texas Title.

Referees: Sonny Fargo, Joey Sims & Stu Schwartz
1. Tim "Powerhouse" Parker had the brawn but not the savvy to defeat veteran "Wild" Bill White in tonight's opening bout. White took the action OOR and redirected the charging Parker shoulder-first into the wooden ring steps. Powerhouse could not recover from the blow in time to make Referee Sonny Fargo's ten count. Your winner via Count Out at 6:46: "Wild" Bill White.
2. Even the ol' switcheroo could not help the masked Thunderfoot #1 beat Barry Windham. With his partner taking a beating in the ring, Thunderfoot #2 employed a little masked confusion and traded places with his comrade as the two conferred in the corner. The chicanery went undetected by referee Joey Sims but had little bearing on the outcome of the match. Windham pinned the illegal Thunderfoot with a Flying Cowboy Lariat off the ropes at 5:01.
3. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff (w/ Krusher Khruschev) over "Pistol" Pez Whatley at 7:57. The turning point of this match came when Referee Stu Schwartz was toppled to the canvas after Koloff was Drop Kicked into him by Pistol Pez. Khruschev seized the moment by sneaking into the ring and bashing Whatley from behind with his Russian chain. Schwartz recovered to find Koloff covering his KO'd opponent and counted the pin.
4. Looking to earn a crack at Don Kernodle's TV Title, lanky Sam Houston defeated former television champ Tully Blanchard (w/ "Perfect Ten" valet Baby Doll) by DQ at 9:20. Things looked grim for Houston when Tully set him up for the Slingshot Suplex, but Sam somehow managed to contort his body to land on top of his opponent by the time they landed on the canvas. Baby Doll ran into the ring to break up the pin count prompting Referee Sonny Fargo to call for the disqualification.
5. The bout between "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin and "Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez (w/ "Number One" Paul Jones) resulted in a Double Count Out at 11:14. This one seemed destined to end up on the floor as both men took turns sending one another face-first into the steel barricade railing around ringside. Referee Joey Sims' count had long past ten while Fernandez and Garvin battled their way back up the aisle and toward the dressing room.
6. Chief Wahoo McDaniel was on hand to watch the Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) defend their NWA Tag Team Titles against J.J. Dillon's Desperados (Black Bart & "Outlaw" Ron Bass) in tonight's Main Event. As it turned out, McDaniel's presence had a huge impact on the outcome of the match. The ugliness between Bass and Wahoo carried over from their encounter a week ago at the Omni in Atlanta as the two had harsh words for one another once more. The preoccupied Bass was rolled up from behind by Robert Gibson for the winning pinfall at 9:49 while he jawed with McDaniel. The Rock & Roll Express retain the NWA Tag Team Titles.

1. George South gave the American Starship Eagle (Dan Spivey) a good run for his money before going down to defeat at 7:44. South gained the upper hand after a sneak attack from behind before the opening bell had even rung and carried that advantage throughout the match. South was cradled in a Small Package for the winning pinfall as he was attempting to pick Eagle up off the mat.
2. The Barbarian (w/ "Number One" Paul Jones) beat the Italian Stallion at 6:07. The Barbarian used his brute force to dominate in the early going and wore his opponent down with a prolonged Bear Hug. An ear clap finally broke the hold, but Stallion's comeback was cut short by a Big Boot to the mush off the ropes. The Barbarian then scaled the top rope and leapt off with a Diving Head Butt to gain the three count.
3. Arn & Ole Anderson of the Four Horsemen over the team of Rocky King & Gene Ligon at 5:38. In typical fashion, the Andersons centered their attack on the arm and wore down their opponents with a series of grueling hammerlocks and arm bars. Employing quick tags in and out, the Andersons effectively cut off half the ring and controlled the tempo of the bout to their liking. Rocky King's shoulder socket was injured from the sustained punishment and he was forced to submit after a wrenching Arm Lock from Ole.
4. Nothing was settled between Krusher Khruschev and "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler. These two slugged it out for well over eight minutes before a Running Clothesline by Buzz sent both men toppling over the top rope and crashing hard to the floor. Khruschev and Tyler continued their battle back up the aisle toward the dressing room as Referee Walter Buckner laid on the ten count. The time of the match was 8:52.
5. Grudge Match. Chief Wahoo McDaniel was the better man tonight as he bested his adversary "Outlaw" Ron Bass at 11:30. This heated see-saw battle took an interesting turn when the Outlaw's tag team partner Black Bart came down to ringside. Bart tried to toss his "BB" Branding Iron into the ring for Bass to use but overshot the Outlaw’s reach. Bass was in the process of bending over to retrieve the weapon when he was cradled from behind by Wahoo for the winning pinfall.
6. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair put "the ten pounds of gold" on the line against Magnum T.A. in tonight's Main Event. Flair's title may very well have been saved by fellow Horsemen Arn & Ole Anderson who returned to ringside to be in the Nature Boy's corner. Magnum connected with his trademark Belly-to-Belly Suplex off the ropes, however Referee Jack Terry was distracted by Ole Anderson up on the apron and missed the pin. In the meantime, Arn Anderson snuck in behind them and laid out Magnum with his Gourdbuster (Front Suplex) finisher. Flair crawled over to drape an arm across his challenger's chest just as Terry turned around to count the tainted pin. Your winner at 26:23 and still NWA World Champion: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
Announcers: Tony Schiavone & David Crockett
Ring Announcer: Joe Murnick
Referees: Lee Scott, Tommy Young & Joey Sims
1. "Gorgeous" Gary Royal, with his best Ric Flair impersonation, entered the ring in a flowing sequin robe and did a little Fargo Strut before locking up collar and elbow with "Downtown" Denny Brown. Royal may have taken his hero worship a bit too far, however, when he attempted to apply Flair's trademark Figure Four Leglock. Brown had not yet been worn down sufficiently enough to warrant the hold and cradled Royal in a Small Package for the win at 5:47.
2. "Pistol" Pez Whatley has struggled as of late but got himself back in the win column with a victory over veteran Doug Vines. Pez got off to a slow start following Vines' early barrage of kicks and punches, but rebounded after reversing a head smash to the corner turnbuckle. A rake of the eyes soon put Vines back in control but he was cut off at the pass as he attempted to climb up to the top rope. Whatley met him half way up and Superplexed Vines back down to the canvas to gain the pinfall. The time of the match was 5:15.
3. The masked Thunderfoots I & II created some havoc for Referee Joey Sims with their illegal switches in tonight's bout against the reigning NWA Tag Team Champions, the Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), but the overall effect had little impact on the outcome of the match. The Express had their teamwork down pat and easily overcame their size disadvantage to the Thunderfoots. A Double Back Elbow Smash off the ropes by Ricky & Robert was the beginning of the end for Thunderfoot #1. The masked man was just getting back to his feet when he was greeted by a Double Drop Kick to the chops for the three count at 4:52. This was a non title bout.
4. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff over "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant via Count Out. The on-going feud between Boogie-Woogie and Paul Jones' Army reared it's ugly head once more when Valiant's arch nemesis "Number One" Paul Jones came down to ringside during this match. The Boogie Man had things going his way against Koloff up until that point, but clearly became distracted by Paul Jones' presence thereafter. An attempted trip by Jones failed, however it did provoke Valiant enough into bailing from the ring to chase the pesty manager around ringside. Referee Lee Scott counted Boogie-Woogie out at 8:31.
5. Ricky Steamboat defeated Black Bart (w/ "BB" Branding Iron & James J. Dillon) at 7:44. The ornery Cowboy from Pecos, TX got the early jump with a sneak attack from behind while Steamboat jawed with J.J. Dillon, but could not sustain the advantage. A leaping, overhand chop to the noggin dazed Bart who was then doubled over by an errant jab to the midsection with the branding iron by Dillon. Steamboat hopped over Bart with a Sunset Flip to hold his shoulders to the mat for the three count.
6. United States Champion "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/ "Number One" Paul Jones) put his title on the line against number one contender Barry Windham in tonight's Main Event. The determined young challenger took the battle to Graham and seemed one step ahead of him as a concerned Paul Jones looked on. A Flying Cowboy Lariat gave Jones good reason to be worried. Graham managed to get a foot on the ropes to save himself from that pinning predicament, but then fell victim to a Clawhold no doubt taught to Barry by proud poppa Blackjack Mulligan. Sensing desperation, Jones entered the ring with a folding chair but his nefarious intentions were foiled by "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant whose timely elbow to the noggin caused the manager to drop his weapon. Jones was chased out of the ring and back to the dressing room by Valiant leaving Graham to fend for himself. Windham capitalized on the mayhem by planting the Champion face-first onto Jones' chair with a Bulldog from behind for the winning pinfall at 17:26. Barry Windham is the neeeeewwwwwww United States Champion !

1. Mulkey Mania came to Greensboro in a big way! Local radio station WSMW 98.7 ran promos all week offering a $500 cash prize to some lucky fan if the hapless brothers pulled off an upset over J.J. Dillon's Desperados (Black Bart & "Outlaw" Ron Bass) in tonight's opening bout. Randy and Bill Mulkey even did spots on the station's morning show boldly predicting an amazing victory. The response was incredible as phone lines were jammed with entrants trying to get their names in before tonight's program. Alas, the clock struck midnight for the Mulkeys and the Golden Carriage turned back into a pumpkin once the opening bell rang. Suffice to say, the brothers were mauled from the onset with Black Bart doing the honors of pinning Bill with his Texas Trash Compactor (Flying Leg Drop) at 4:23.
2. Lazer Tron, who hails from "The Future", traveled back in time to be with us tonight as he took on grizzled mat veteran "Wild" Bill White. The agile masked mat man overcame a distinct size disadvantage with some dazzling aerial maneuvers, the last of which was a Sunset Flip off the top rope to put White's shoulders to the mat for the three count at 5:55.
3. Nelson Royal was in no mood for Ole Anderson's jabbering and interrupted the heel's pre-match interview with a shove from behind to get things started. Flustered and seething with fury, Anderson immediately lunged for Royal only to be caught again and again in a series of arm drags. Nelson then clamped on a prolonged arm bar while Ole searched for an escape. Once back up to a vertical base, a quick knee to the midsection turned the tide in Anderson's favor and gave him an edge that he would never relinquish. A Diving Knee Drop from the top turnbuckle put Royal away at 6:58.
4. Never one to back down from a challenge, Choctaw Chickasaw Chief Wahoo McDaniel was unfazed by his opponent Krusher Kruschev's entourage of Ivan & Nikita Koloff at ringside. McDaniel was able to hold the Koloffs at bay for the most part with an occasional Tomahawk Chop or two, but it was Ivan's interference that would ultimately cost him the bout. The Russian Bear pulled the top rope down as Wahoo charged at him causing the Chief to fall out of the ring and crash hard to the floor. The dazed McDaniel was unable to answer Sonny Fargo's ten count. Your winner via Count Out at 8:22 - Krusher Khruschev.
5. Paul Jones' Army of Superstar Billy Graham & the Barbarian took on "Precious" Paul Ellering's Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) in a fierce tag team battle. The Warriors dominated for the most part, but an undetected walking stick jab to Animal's ribs by the devious Paul Jones gave his team a golden opportunity for victory. The Barbarian tried to follow up, but missed with a Diving Head Butt from the top rope. Hawk tagged in with a Flying Shoulder Tackle that appeared to finish off the Barbarian, but Jones sent "Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez into the ring to break up the subsequent pin attempt and draw the disqualification at 11:32.
6. NWA World Title Match. Richard Strauss' 2001: A Space Odyssey theme "Also sprach Zarathustra" ushered in "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and all his pageantry as the Nature Boy put "the ten pounds of gold" on the line against "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin. The challenger found out why Flair calls himself "The Dirtiest Player in the Game" by having to endure eye gouges, low blows, hair pulls and hidden chokeholds throughout this contest. In the end, it was a loaded elbow pad that did in Garvin. The champ slipped some sort of object into the pad just before catching his opponent flush on the jaw during a corner charge. A handful of tights secured the pin at 17:31 as Flair retains the NWA Championship.

1. Trainer Danny Davis had to be proud of his pupil Attorney-turned-wrestler Joseph Parks, Esq. after his victory in tonight's opening match. Parks pinned "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jesse Godderz with the Closing Argument (Diving Splash off the top rope) at 4:16. The pin was set up by a Black Hole Slam (Spinning Side Slam) after Godderz cut the lawyer's forehead with the use of a hidden foreign object. The big lug appeared to blow a fuse at the sight of his own blood and took care of "Mr. Pec-Tacular" in short order thereafter.
2. Godderz' girlfriend Tara fared much better than her beau in her Knockouts match against Taryn Terrell. A missed high risk leap off the top rope was the beginning of the end for Terrell. Tara quickly applied the Widow's Peak (Gory Neckbreaker) to her dazed opponent for the three count at 5:34.
3. Big Rob Terry more than held his own against DOC from Aces & Eights. DOC grew increasingly frustrated by his inability to put his opponent away and clobbered Terry with his trademark ball peen hammer right in front of Referee Earl Hebner. The ref wasted no time in calling for the bell at 5:50.
4. Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian aka EGO or the "Extraordinary Gentleman's Organization" ) defeated Ink, Inc. (Shannon Moore & Jesse Neal). Kazarian was able to sidestep his opponent's Spear attempt causing Jesse Neal to crash shoulder-first into the ring post. EGO then finished off the dazed Neal with a Slingshot Flying Elbow from Daniels followed by a Slingshot Flying Leg Drop by Kaz to gain the pinfall at 8:27.
5. Magnus and Crimson were both Counted Out by Referee Bruce Gray at 7:43 as they battled back up the aisle and into Family Arena's lobby. Fans were sent scattering in every direction when the wrestlers destroyed a TNA Souvenir Stand. Crimson was busted open (no pun intended) when Magnus bashed him in the head with a Dixie Carter action figure.
6. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles successfully defended the TNA World Title against his challenger "Olympic Gold Medalist" Kurt Angle at 15:52. The match ended innocently enough when Angle was cradled with a Small Package as he attempted to scoop up Styles for a Body Slam. A surpise of an ending considering both men were able to escape one another's submission finishers (Angle's Ankle Lock & Styles' Calf Killer.) A.J. Styles retains the TNA World Title.

1. Dixie Carter's "Chief of Staff" Rockstar Spud employed a bit of chicanery to beat Christian York in tonight's opening bout at 2:02. For whatever reason, Spud seemed reluctant to lock up with his opponent and, after a great deal of stalling, appeared to walk out on the match. York threw his arms up in frustration as Referee Scott James began his ten count. Neither man saw the diminutive Spud disappear under the ring and re-emerge on the other side to pin the stunned York with a Roll Up from behind.
2. In an unusual mixed Tag match with an equally unusual ending, Mr. & Mrs. Young (Eric & O.D.B.) defeated Mexican-America's Anarquia & Rosita with a little help from Guest Referee Sarita at 5:56. Former friends, stable mates and tag partners Rosita and Sarita bickered with one another throughout the contest. The Youngs were able to capitalize on the bad blood when O.D.B. scooped up the distracted Rosita and gave her the BAM (Fireman's Carry Spinout Facebuster) for the pinfall. It didn't hurt that Sarita applied a rather fast and biased three count.
3. Big Rob Terry over former Jersey Shore friend Robbie E (w/ BroMans tag team partner "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jesse Godderz) via Count Out at 4:39. Terry took great delight in pulverizing Robbie E in dominant fashion. Big Rob military pressed his opponent over his head and tossed Robbie E out of the ring and onto Godderz. The BroMans crashed hard to the floor where Robbie E was counted out by Referee Brian Hebner.
4. Frankie Kazarian needed some help from Bad Influence buddy and tag team partner Christopher Daniels to defeat Doug Williams at 7:04. Williams had his foot pulled out from underneath him by Daniels as he attempted to Suplex Kazarian back into the ring from the apron. Daniels held onto Williams' foot to prevent a kick out and secure the three count.
5. TNA Tag Team Title Match. Chavo Guerrero and "SuperMex" Hernandez' attempt to dethrone Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff as tag team champions was thwarted by the obligatory Aces & Eights run-in after Chavo connected with his Frog Splash on Brisco. DOC and Knux made the save to break up the pin and draw the disqualification from Referee Scott James. Aces & Eights retain the TNA Tag Team titles.
6. Former Aces & Eights member and resident TNA "Free Agent" Mr. Anderson was defeated by Austin Aries at 12:26. Main Event Mafia members Sting and "Olympic Gold Medalist" Kurt Angle, who have been actively attempting to recruit Anderson for their stable, did themselves no favors by coming down to ringside and distracting him by their presence. Aries grabbed the preoccupied Anderson from behind in a Backslide for the surprise three count. Anderson had some choice words for Angle & Sting as he returned to the back.

1. The crowd was indifferent toward Gunner during his ring entrance which cost him some points. His opponent Alex Silva was not able to capitalize, however, as he submitted to the Gun Rack (Backbreaker Rack) at 3:42.
2. There was a new chapter written tonight in the ongoing feud between former friends and Mexican America stablemates Rosita and Sarita. Brooke Tessmacher's shoulders appeared to be down for the three count after her opponent Sarita's Tiger Bomb (Double Underhook Sit Out Powerbomb ), but Knockouts' ref Taryn Terrell was toppled over in the process and unable to make the count. Rosita came down to ringside, climbed up onto the apron and promptly got a slap across the face from Sarita for her trouble, but the distraction enabled Tessmacher to cradle her opponent from behind as Terrell recovered to make the three count at 6:36.
3. The Young Bucks (Max & Jeremy Buck) took advantage of some internal dysfuntion to defeat the team of Kid Kash & "That 70's Guy" Joey Ryan at 7:22. It didn't take long for the swarmy Ryan, who can't seem to get along with anybody these days, to get under the skin of his latest tag team partner. So much so, that Kash dropped a four letter explicative on the air and walked out on Ryan mid-match. Joey shouted "I don't need you, Kash!" and was promptly finished off by the "More Bang for Your Buck" (Max Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam & Jeremy 450 Splash from the top rope) for the pinfall.
4. In a battle of the brutes, DOC defeated "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan with a little help from his friends at 7:51. Things took a bad turn for Morgan when DOC ducked under a Carbon Footprint attempt leaving Referee Mike Posey to catch the brunt of the Running Big Boot instead. Morgan tried to help the dazed ref get back to his feet when he was clobbered from behind by Knux with a biker chain. DOC pounced on the "Blueprint" while Wes Brisco held onto Morgan's foot to prevent a kickout as Posey recovered to count the pin.
5. "The Monster" Abyss (w/ Father James Mitchell) over Magnus at 9:00. Mitchell's interference proved to be the difference in this see-saw battle. It first appeared that the manager's errant smash to Abyss with his loaded Book of the New Church would cost his man the match, but Magnus did not go for the cover. The Brit chose, instead, to climb up to the top rope to deliver his Diving Elbow Drop but was shoved from behind by Mitchell before he could deliver the finisher. Abyss then polished off Magnus with the Black Hole Slam (Spinning Side Slam) for the victory.
6. TNA Championship Match. "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy failed in his bid to unseat "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles for the TNA Crown. Hardy caught the champ with a Twist of Fate stunner out of nowhere that might have brought him the gold had he chosen to go for cover, but The Enigma pandered to his "creatures" instead by asking the fans if they wanted the Swanton Bomb. Upon the crowd's urging, Hardy hopped up to the top rope to deliver the Senton Splash finisher but found nothing but canvas after Styles rolled out of the way. The Phenomenal One then took to the top rope to deliver the Superman (450) Splash for the three count. A.J. Styles retains the TNA Title !

1. Petey Williams over Christian York at 5:54. The surprising York nearly pulled off a victory over Petey in tonight's opening bout. Christian caught Williams with his head down and delivered the Mood Swing (Swinging Neckbreaker) before scaling the top rope for a Frog Splash. York found nothing but canvas, however, when he landed. Williams then applied the coup de grace with his devastating Canadien Destroyer (Front Flip Piledriver) for the pinfall.
2. "Hardcore Country" Mickie James defeated Gail Kim by disqualification at 7:17 to retain her Knockouts’ Title. The story of this match was the mounting friction between Kim and Knockouts' Referee O.D.B. which began right from the opening bell. Mickie nearly capitalized on the tiff with a couple of quick surprise cradles but could only get a two count each time. Gail accused the Ref of quick counts which led to more bickering between the two. O.D.B. gave her a shove and Kim responded with the Eat Defeat (Inverted Stomp Jawbreaker) to draw the DQ.
3. Aces & Eights (Garret Bischoff & Wes Brisco) retained the TNA Tag Team Titles with their usual shenanigans against their challengers Ink, Inc. (Shannon Moore & Jesse Neal). Brisco pulled a small biker chain from under the flap of his boot and used it to KO Moore with a loaded punch while Referee Brian Stiffler was being distracted by fellow A&E members DOC & Knux who were outside the ring. Stiffler finally turned around to find Brisco making the cover and counted the pin at 8:39.
4. "Showtime" Eric Young was the victim of some foul play in his match against Christopher Daniels. Eric went up top to deliver a high risk maneuver and was shoved off from behind by Daniels' partner in crime Frankie Kazarian. O.D.B. immediately ran down to ringside with a well place knee between the wickets to take out Kazarian, but Daniels took advantage of his interference to score the pinfall with his BME (Best Moonsault Ever) on the downed Young at 6:50.
5. Chavo Guerrero Jr. over Bully Ray by disqualification at 9:13. Aces & Eights demonstrated the meaning of their club motto "You Never Walk Alone" to Chavo in grand style. DOC, Garret Bischoff, Knux and Wes Brisco all ran in to put a clubberin' on Guerrero after he hit his Frog Splash finisher on the Aces & Eight's President. SuperMex Hernandez then led the charge from the back along with Ink, Inc. and former A&E member Mr. Anderson to run off the heels.
6. "The It Factor" Bobby Roode defeated Mr. Anderson in the Main Event at 11:45. Anderson may have regretted his actions from the previous bout when he saw the various members of Aces & Eights return to ringside. It did not take long for the club's cheap shots and interference to commence. The preoccupied Anderson needed eyes in the back of his head as he tried to defend himself as best he could. In the end, Anderson was tripped by Bully Ray and stumbled right into Roode's Payoff (Fisherman's Cradle Suplex) for the three count.

The Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) eliminated the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacque & Raymond) by DQ at 10:25. Unfortunately for Raymond, Referee Earl Hebner caught him holding the megaphone and signaled for the disqualification.
6. Intercontinental Tournament Match. "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich over "Adorable" Adrian Adonis (w/ Jimmy Hart) by DQ at 10:04.
