WCW/n.W.o. Thursday Thunder Results (Circa Late 90's) - Long Beach Arena, Long Beach, CA. Att: 11,385.

Announcers: Mike Tenay & "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko
Ring Announcer: Lee Marshall
Referees: Johnny Boone, Charles Robinson & Nick Patrick

1. "Above Average" Mike Sanders of the Natural Born Thrillers continued to climb the ranks of the Cruiserweight Division by defeating Kaz Hayashi with the 3.0 (Inverted DDT Backbreaker) at 3:25.

2. In a bid to impress his famous uncle and gain membership into the n.W.o., Horace Hogan did not do himself any favors by tapping out to "Iceman" Dean Malenko's Texas Cloverleaf Leglock submission at 4:51.

3. "Belfast Bruiser" David "Fit" Finlay went down to Perry Saturn at 7:30. Referee Johnny Boone allowed a lot of leeway in this match including chair shots OOR and a very slow ten count to allow the wrestlers sufficient time to get back in the ring. Saturn pinned Fit with the Death Valley Driver.

4. "The Total Package" Lex Luger used a distraction from his valet Liz to roll up former Chicago Bears' lineman Steve "Mongo" McMichael from behind for the winning pinfall at 7:33.

5. WCW World Champion Goldberg, who wrestles like he's double-parked, beat The Wall in his usual style - Spear, Jackhammer and three count. Time of the fall was 2:41. This was a non-title bout.

6. WCW Tag Team Title Match. The Challengers, Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) defeated the Champions, the n.W.o.'s Outsiders (Scott Hall & "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash) by DQ at 10:50. Booker was going for the pin after delivering his Axe Kick to Scott Hall when Kevin Nash clobbered him from behind with one of the tag belts. Referee Charles Robinson immediately called for the bell. The Outsiders retain the Tag Team Titles despite the loss.

WCW/n.W.o. Results (Circa Late 90's) - Dean Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC. Att: 11,253.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
Ring Announcer: Dave Penzer
Referees: Mark "Slick" Johnson, Scott Dickinson & Charles Robinson

1. If you blinked, then you missed it. Vince Russo's brain child UFC Fighter Tank Abbott KO'd Bobby Blaze with a right hook at 0:52. Many fans were still filing into the Dean Hill Center and had not even taken their seats by the time this "bout" was over.

2. "Ragin' Cajun" Lash Leroux and Lenny Lane put on a quite a show in this fast paced, see-saw contest that could have gone either way. The end came when Leroux caught Lenny coming off the ropes in a Fireman's Carry and worked that into his Whiplash finisher (Sit Out Death Valley Driver) for the three count at 8:01.

3. Whether you love him or hate him, Ernest "The Cat" Miller is quite entertaining on the mic and earned himself bonus heel points for insulting Chapel Hill with some rather colourful language. Miller then gave his opponent Norman Smiley an opportunity to forfeit the match and "walk away" before he got himself hurt. Smiley responded with a slap across the Cat's face which drew a roar form the crowd. Unfortunately for Norman, it was all downhill from there. Miller finished him off with the Feliner (Spin Kick) at 6:26.

4. Scott Hall came out with his customary toothpick and survey and proclaimed North Carolina as "n.W.o. Country" to both cheers and boos from the fans who were then treated to a cruiserweight battle between Syxx and "The Juice" Juventud Guerrera. Hall, of course, couldn't help but interject himself into the match by pushing Juvy off the top rope as "The Juice" was setting himself for a 450 Splash. Syxx then cradled the stunned Guerrera for the three count at 8:45.

5. The tag match between the Filthy Animals (Konnan & Rey Mysterio Jr.) and the Mamalukes (Big Vito & Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli) degenerated into a wild free-for-all. With all four men ignoring his attempts to restore order, Referee Charles Robinson had no choice but to call for the bell at 7:59 and declared the match a Double Disqualification.

6. "Macho Madness" Randy Savage brought his entourage of women with him to ringside including Gorgeous George, Madusa Micelli and Miss Madness (Molly Holly) but said that he would like to add an additional member to his harem and invited Kimberly Page down to ringside with his trademark "Oooh Yeah". Well, the Macho Man didn't get Kimberly in the ring, but he did get her husband Diamond Dallas Page who ran in with a barrage of fists and Discus Clotheslines for Savage. The fired up DDP dominated the match but was caught in a Roll Up from behind by the Macho Man as he had Gorgeous George by the hair up on the apron. The time of the fall was 11:46.

AWA Results (Circa Mid to Late 80's) - Metro Center, Rockford, IL. Att: 9,790.

Announcers: Lee Marshall & "Ringside" Ralph Strangis
Ring Announcer: Donna Gagne
Referees: Scott Ledoux & Rich Frisk

1. "Jammin" Mitch Snow pinned "Pistol" Pete Pistulka with the Jam Slam (Hip Toss Powerslam) at 4:02.

2. "Sensei" Pat Tanaka (w/ Diamond Dallas Page & the Diamond Doll) over Todd Becker with a Leaping DDT at 4:53.

3. Ladies Title Tournament. "Sensational" Sherri Martel (w/ "Playboy" Buddy Rose) defeated Rockin' Robin at 7:01. Rose slipped a hidden foreign object into Sherri's hand behind Referee Rich Frisk's back. Martel KO'd Robin with a loaded punch to score the pinfall.

4. "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell (who is hearing cheers from the fans as of late after dumping Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee as his manager) beat the big Russian Soldad Ustinov (w/ Teijo Khan) at 7:20. Ustinov was in unfamiliar territory as he climbed up to the top rope to deliver what he hoped would be the finishing touch on Blackwell. The high-risk strategy backfired, however, as Ustinov was thrown off and then crushed by a Blackwell Splash for the winning pin.

5. "Precious" Paul Ellering's Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) defeated the Top Guns (Ricky Rice & Jon Paul Demans) at 8:51. Rice and Demans were tossed around like rag dolls by the mighty Legion of Doom. Hawk finished things with a Flying Clothesline off the 2nd Rope that nearly took Demans out of his boots.

6. Billy Robinson over "The Mercenary from South Africa" Colonel Debeers at 9:15. As always, the hated Debeers earned extra heel points by riling up the fans with his controversial political views, but it was not enough to carry the Colonel to victory. Robinson pinned Debeers with a Double Underhook Suplex.

7. AWA World Title Match. Number One Contender Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Ray "The Crippler" Stevens) defeated Champion Rick Martel via Count Out at 14:03. Bockwinkel sent the Champ head-first into the ring post during OOR action. This tactic would normally constitute an automatic disqualification in the AWA rulebook, however Referee Scott Ledoux was being distracted by Ray Stevens and did not see the blatant infraction. Bockwinkel smiled arrogantly in the ring as Ledoux put the ten count on the KO'd Martel. Nevertheless, Rick Martel retains the AWA Title.

1. Paul "Hard Rock" Diamond pinned Chris Curtis with a Front Suplex at 3:37.

2. Teijo Khan (w/ Soldad Ustinov & Russian Flag) beat "Beach Boy" Sonny Rogers with a Karate Thrust to the throat at 7:40.

3. Velvet McIntyre defeated Leilani Kai by DQ at 9:00. Kai and Referee Robert Warren were at odds throughout this bout. Kai finally lost her cool and slapped Warren across the face to draw the disqualification.

4. Time expired as "The Mercenary from South Africa" Colonel Debeers and Buck "Rock & Roll" Zumhoffe wrestled to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw.

5. In a brutal tag team match, "Precious" Paul Ellering's Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) defeated the Long Riders ("Wild" Bill & Scott "Hog" Irwin) at 10:49. The Legion of Doom connected with the Doomsday Device on big Scott for the pinfall.

6. With his sights set on Champion Rick Martel's belt, wily veteran Nick Bockwinkel made a bid for the Number One Contender's spot by defeating David Sammartino at 14:21. Bockwinkel pulled a hidden foreign object from his tights and busted Sammartino open with a loaded punch to the head. Sammartino was game to continue but Referee Rich Frisk stopped the match due to blood and awarded the bout to Bockwinkel.

7. In the Main Event, Jerry "The King" Lawler beat "Sheik" Jerry Blackwell (w/ "Sheik" Adnan El-Kaisee) at 14:28. There seemed to be trouble brewing in the Sheiks' camp as Blackwell chose to ignore his manager's advice and sent El-Kaisee back to the dressing room after the ring introductions. El-Kaisee returned to ringside and appeared to deliberately trip his own man as Blackwell was bounding off the ropes. Lawler then pounced on the fallen Blackwell with his patented Diving Punch to the head off the 2nd rope to score the winning pinfall.

AWA Results (Circa Mid to Late 80's) - St. Paul Civic Center, St. Paul, MN. Att: 11,085.

Announcers: Rod Trongard & Lord James Blears
Ring Announcer: Larry Nelson
Referees: Robert Warren & Gary DeRusha

1. Pete Sanchez submitted to Baron Von Raschke's dreaded Iron Claw Hold at 4:03.

2. Ladies Tournament Match. Texas "Cowgirl" Wendi Richter over Judy Martin by DQ at 6:13. Martin was caught by Referee Gary DeRusha bashing Wendi with Ring Announcer Larry Nelson's microphone to draw the disqualification.

3. "Playboy" Buddy Rose (w/ "Sensational" Sherri Martel) pinned Anthony "Earthquake" Ferris with his Las Vegas Jackpot DDT at 6:48. The pudgy Rose drew a lot of heat from the crowd during his ring entrance to earn heel points. Sherri had to cover the Playboy's ears with her hands as the fans chanted "Pillsbury Dough Boy!"

4. The Long Riders ("Wild" Bill & Scott "Hog" Irwin) over the team of Jake "The Milkman" Milliman & Tom "Rocky" Stone at 6:44. The Long Riders ran roughshod over their opponents in this one-sided tag contest. "Wild" Bill planted Stone with a Superplex off the top and then tagged in big brother Scott who finished things with a huge Flying Leg Drop.

5. "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal defeated "Polish Prince" Steve Olsonoski via Count Out at 10:50. "The Mercenary from South Africa" Colonel Debeers wandered out to ringside and immediately interjected himself into the action as Regal and Steve O battled on the floor. Debeers hit Olsonoski in the head with his swagger stick while Mr. Electricity kept Referee Gary DeRusha occupied. Steve O could not get back in the ring in time to make DeRusha's ten count.

6. "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell & Ali Khan (w/ Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee) were both counted out in a wild brawl around ringside at 9:01. After the bell, El-Kaisee jumped on Jerry's back and choked out the big man with his Arabian tunic. Help arrived from the back in the form of the goose-stepping Baron Von Raschke who cleaned house with a folding chair.

7. In the Main Event, "America's Hero" Sergeant Slaughter over Nick Bockwinkel (w/ Ray "The Crippler" Stevens) at 16:29. With Referee Robert Warren down on the mat, Stevens tried to bash the Sarge with a hidden foreign object but ended up hitting Bockwinkel with it instead. The woozy Bockwinkel staggered around the ring and was leveled by the Slaughter Cannon (Flying Clothesline off the 2nd rope). Robert Warren recovered to count the pin.

AWA Commissioner Stanley Blackburn announced that Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee & Ali Khan would meet Crusher Blackwell & Baron Von Rashke in a Tag Team match next week.

AWA Results (Circa Mid to Late 80's) Super Clash Thanksgiving Holiday Spectacular - Cobo Arena, Detroit, MI. Att: 11,833.

Announcers: Rodger Kent & Verne Gagne
Ring Announcer: Al DeRusha
Referees: Marty Miller, Larry Lisowski & Scott Ledoux

1. "Sensei" Pat Tanaka (w/ Diamond Dallas Page & the Diamond Doll) defeated "TNT" D.J. Peterson by Count Out at 5:03. As the action spilled out onto the floor, Page interjected himself into the fracas and was decked by a haymaker from D.J. much to the delight of the fans. Unfortunately for Peterson, Referee Marty Miller was putting the ten count on him during the scuffle.

2. Ladies Tournament Match. Candi Devine pinned Wynona Littleheart with a Flying Cross Body Press at 6:02 to advance in the tournament.

3. AWA TV Title Match. Champion Mr. Saito (w/ Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee) put his title on the line against "California Kid" Tommy Jammer (w/ Beach Boys Surf Music). These two have met once before and wrestled to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw in Las Vegas back in September. The Champ pinned Jammer with his Saito Suplex (Back Suplex) at 6:40 to retain the title.

4. "The Mercenary from South Africa" Colonel Debeers over "Polish Prince" Steve Olsonoski at 7:55. The shady Debeers pulled a hidden foreign object from his tights and slugged Olsonoski in the head with it while Steve O was lifting the Colonel up to deliver a Side Suplex. Debeers threw the object out of the ring as he covered Olsonoski for the winning pinfall. A fan in the front row found the object on the ground and held it up for the camera. It looked like a chunk of metal wrapped in masking tape.

5. Indian Strap Match. "Chief" Wahoo McDaniel defeated Big, Bad Bobby Duncum (w/ Eddie "The Brain" Creatchman) at 10:37. Creatchman tried to help his man out by tossing Duncum's bullrope into the ring for the big Cowboy to use but Wahoo grabbed it first. McDaniel then hog-tied Duncum with his own rope and dragged him to all four corners to win the match.

6. Tag Team Grudge Match. "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell & Baron Von Raschke defeated the team of Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee & Ali Khan at 9:42. With the Sheik holding big Jerry from behind, Ali Khan charged at Blackwell with a running Clothesline. Jerry was able to break free at the last second, however, and El-Kaisee took the full brunt of the Clothesline instead. Blackwell then added a huge Splash onto the hated Sheik for the winning pin. The Cobo Arena erupted in wild cheers !

7. AWA World Championship Match. Champion Rick Martel pinned number one contender, Blackjack Lanza (w/ Eddie "The Brain" Creatchman) at 15:11. Creatchman tried to bash Martel with the AWA Championship Belt but inadvertently hit Lanza with it instead. Lanza staggered around the ring and was cradled by Martel in a Small Package for the pin.

Championship Wrestling from Florida Results (Circa Late 70's) - Fort Homer Hesterly Armory, Tampa, FL. Att: 5,318.

Announcers: Gordon Solie & "Coach" John Heath
Ring Announcer: Barbara Clary
Referees: Bill Alphonso, Frenchy Bernard & Charley Laye

1. Jerry Brisco opened the show with a victory over John Boy Ruffin. Brisco put on a clinic of holds and counter holds before wrapping Ruffin up in a Figure Four Leg Lock for the submission at 4:13.

Jim Garvin was cutting a promo with Gordon Solie regarding tonight's Main Event tag team match pitting himself and his partner Lumberjack Jos Leduc against Sonny King's Family members Florida Champion Don Muraco and Pak Song when he was suddenly attacked. King had his henchmen jump Garvin from behind with a chair. Help finally arrived from the back when Leduc ran out with an axe handle to chase off the heels but the damage had already been done.

2. The unorthodox Bugsy McGraw (w/ Manager Sir Oliver Humperdink) had everyone including his opponent Bubba Douglas wondering what he would do next. McGraw went on a rampage around ringside overturning chairs, trash cans and the timekeeper's table. Bugsy finally entered the ring with some sort of hidden foreign object and used it to great effect on Douglas. The fans shouted whenever McGraw would dip down into his tights to retrieve the weapon, but he hid it masterfully from Referee Frenchy Bernard's detection. Bubba went down for the three count after a jab to the throat with the object at 4:55.

3. "Dirty" Don Serrano was at odds with Referee Charley Laye right from the onset. The two bickered constantly over Serrano's rule breaking with Laye threatening to DQ him at any given moment. Serrano's opponent Rocky Johnson was able to capitalize on the conflict by sneaking up from behind with a Backslide for the winning pinfall while Dirty Don was jawing with Laye. The time of the fall was 6:26.

Gordon Solie announced that Jim Garvin would be unable to compete in the Main Event due to injuries sustained at the hands of Sonny King's Family earlier tonight. King then came out to join Gordon and said that Leduc had two choices - either forfeit the match or wrestle Muraco and Song all by himself. Blackjack Mulligan then came out and offered a third option - he would be willing to take Garvin's place as Leduc's partner if King's men had the guts to face them. The fans went wild upon hearing Blackjack's challenge while King had a fit and stormed off the set.

4. The mysterious Mr. Uganda used a distraction from the devious Sonny King to slip a foreign object into his mask and pin Mike Graham with a leaping Head Butt off the 2nd rope at 8:38.

5. Killer Karl Kox (w/ Lars Anderson) was DQ'd against Paul Ellering at 7:40 due to outside interference. Kox found himself in serious trouble when he was caught in the strongman's vice-like Bear Hug as he bounded off the ropes. Ellering has been able to induce submissions with this hold in the past but he did not get the opportunity tonight. Lars Anderson saw to that by running into the ring and slugging Ellering from behind with his bag of coins. Referee Bill Alphonso wasted no time in calling for the bell.

6. At first it seemed as though Blackjack Mulligan and Lumberjack Jos Leduc would win their Main Event tag match against Sonny King's Family by forfeit or count out when neither Muraco or Song showed up. Alas, Sonny King reluctantly led his men down the aisle and to the ring. To their credit, the Family more than held their own in this battle and wore down the big lumberjack. Leduc was finally able to make the hot tag and Blackjack proceeded to clean house. A desperate Muraco swung his Florida Championship Belt at Mulligan but hit his own partner with it instead. Pak Song went down like a ton of bricks and was pinned by the cowboy at 12:38.

Championship Wrestling from Florida Results (Circa Late 70's) - Jacksonville Coliseum, Jacksonville, FL. Att: 7,288.

Announcers: Gordon Solie & Buddy Colt
Ring Announcer: Dr. Tom Miller
Referees: Stu Schwartz, Don Curtis & Sonny Myers

1. Leilani Kai opened the show with a victory over Vicki Williams at 6:13. A missed corner charge by Vicki proved to be her undoing. Kai pounced on her fallen foe with both feet on the ropes for leverage to gain the three count.

2. Things are heating up in the Bill Dromo/Ron Slinker feud. Slinker, who is missing a few cards in his deck, went berserk with an all out assault of the dark martial arts on his opponent Phil Mercado. Dromo is no stranger to Slinker's brutality and ran in to save Mercado from injury. Referee Don Curtis immediately called for the disqualification due to the interference and then had the unenviable task of having to separate Slinker from Dromo. Your winner: the sadistic and demented blackbelt Ron Slinker by DQ at 3:29.

3. Bryan St. John went down to the popular Steve Keirn at 6:40. St. John riled the fans in Jacksonville something fierce with some profane comments and hand gestures which earned him some bonus heel points but it was not nearly enough to bring him a victory. St. John went nighty-night in a Keirn Sleeper Hold as he bounded off the ropes.

4. Tiger Conway Jr. had opponent King Curtis Iaukea reeling with some crushing Head Butts and a flurry of aerial maneuvers. Iaukea's manager Sonny King took matters into his own hands by reaching into the ring and tripping Conway to the mat. King Curtis followed up on his sudden advantage with a running Hawaiian Splash for the tainted three count at 8:36.

5. In a rematch for the Florida Tag Team Titles, the Briscos (Jack & Jerry) retained their belts over the former champs, the masked Spoilers I & II, via a Double Count Out at 11:52. With Jack and Spoiler #1 battling it out on the floor, Spoiler #2 tried a little chicanery by rolling himself into the ring just as Referee Don Curtis' count was reaching ten and presenting himself as the legal man for his team. Curtis was not fooled by the masked confusion, however, and stood by his decision.

6. The wily "Handsome" Harley Race pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat against Rocky Johnson. Race was able to roll through on the momentum of Johnson's Flying Cross Body attempt and pinned his opponent with a handful of tights at 14:39.

Championship Wrestling from Florida results (Circa Late 70's) - Bayfront Center, St. Petersburg, FL. Att: 6,823.

Announcers: Gordon Solie & Barbara Clary
Ring Announcer: Jay Goodley
Referees: Bill Alphonso, Scrappy McGowan & Buddy Colt

1. "Dirty" Don Serrano was back to his winning ways with a victory over Herb Calvert. Serrano was able to convert Calvert's telegraphed Back Body Drop attempt into a Swinging Neckbreaker for the three count at 4:40.

2. Big Bill Dromo over Raul Mata at 5:13. Dromo was very preoccupied with the hated Ron Slinker's presence at ringside when the demented martial arts expert came out to join the announcers' table and provide commentary during the bout. Mata nearly capitalized on the distraction with a quick roll up for a two count. Dromo and Slinker then got into a shouting match prompting Mata to attempt a Backslide on his opponent which was quickly reversed for the pinfall.

3. "The Unofficial Mayor of Lake City" Bubba Douglas was a victim of foul play in his loss to Siegfried Stanke. Stanke's manager Sir Oliver Humperdink left his walking stick on the apron and proceeded to bait Referee Bill Alphonso into an argument. Stanke quickly grabbed the cane behind the compromised ref's back and smashed Douglas with it. Alphonso finally turned around to find Stanke making the cover and counted the pin at 5:38.

4. Lars Anderson (w/ Killer Karl Kox) and Paul Ellering were both disqualified at 8:32. Although initially on his best behavior, it was just a matter of time before the looney Kox interjected himself into the proceedings. Kox tried to smash Ellering with his mysterious bag of coins but inadvertently clipped Referee Scrappy McGowan with it instead. The Ref was sent crashing to the canvas by the blow and immediately called for the bell. Not knowing who the perpertrator was, McGowan DQ'd both men.

5. The war between Blackjack Mulligan and Sonny King's Family spilled over into tonight's match between Mr. Uganda (Cyclone Negro under a mask) and Jim Garvin. Mulligan ran in and clobbered Uganda with one of his cowboy boots prompting Referee Buddy Colt to call for the bell. King quickly pulled his wounded masked man out of the ring while Garvin and Mulligan stood tall. Your winner by DQ at 7:59 - a woozy Mr. Uganda.

6. The tag team Main Event pitting Mr. Sato & Mr. Saito against the duo of Steve Keirn & Mike Graham resulted in a Double Count Out at 12:26. These two teams have met before with similar results. All four men traded punches and chops all the way back up the aisle to the dressing room as Referee Bill Alphonso laid on the ten count.

Championship Wrestling from Florida results (Circa Late 70's) - North Miami Beach Center High School Gymnasium, Miami Beach, FL. Att: 1,016.

Ring Announcer: Principal Dean Kirkland
Referee: Bill Alphonso

1. John Boy Ruffin (w/ checkered Won-Loss record) over Butch Cassidy (w/out the Sundance Kid) at 5:20. John Boy has not enjoyed a great deal of success during his tenure in Florida however he was able to gain a victory tonight by way of a hidden foreign object. Ruffin appeared to pick up an object from the floor after bailing out of the ring and tucked it inside his tights for future use. Sure enough, he retrieved the weapon later in the match and KO'd Cassidy with a loaded punch for the three count.

2. "All-American" Bob Roop didn't show much emotion in the ring and was all business during a dominant performance against veteran Vic Rossitani. Roop concentrated his attack on his opponent's left arm throughout the contest and went on to pin Rossitani with a Shoulderbreaker at 4:47.

3. Blackjack Mulligan had no problems putting away his opponent Sir Winston with his famous Claw Hold at 3:03, however he did have his hands full with Sonny King Family member Pak Song who attacked him after the bell. Blackjack battled with the Korean giant all the way back to the dressing room with neither man gaining an edge on the other. The attack was no doubt perpetrated by Sonny King himself as retribution for Mulligan bashing Mr. Uganda with his cowboy boot last week in St. Petersburg.

4. The Florida Tag Team Champion Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry) beat the House of Humperdink (Beautiful Beauregarde & Siegfried Stanke) at 10:56. Sir Oliver Humperdink's men did a good job of wearing down Jerry and preventing him from tagging in his brother for a good chunk of this match. Once Jack was finally in, though, things unraveled quickly for the challengers. Jack cleaned house and Drop Kicked Siegrfried Stanke into his own partner who was reaching for a tag. Stanke was dazed from the collison and cradled in a Small Package by Jack for the pinfall. The Briscos retain the Florida Tag Team Titles.

5. Dressed like a looney crop duster pilot, the eccentric Bugsy McGraw was able to defeat Sweet Brown Sugar at 9:32. McGraw used his size advantage to great effect by catching his opponent in mid air on a Flying Cross Body attempt and crushing Sugar with a running Powerslam immediately after for the three count.

6. Lumberjack Jos Leduc over Pak Song in the Main Event at 12:45. Although he didn't actually interfere in the match per se, Blackjack Mulligan's presence alone at ringside was enough to throw Song off his game. The Korean was looking over his shoulder for much of the match thereby giving Leduc a distinct advantage. Song let his guard down by jawing with Blackjack and demanding that Referee Bill Alphonso banish Mulligan from ringside. Song turned around right into a haymaker from the lumberjack and was then given Leduc's trademark One Arm Backbreaker for the 1-2-3.

Announcers: Todd Pettengill & Sean Mooney
Ring Announcer: Manny Garcia
Referees: Joey Marella, Earl Hebner & Mike Chioda

1. Damien Demento pinned Duane Gill with a suspiciously effective Flying Knee Drop at 2:55. Demento appeared to adjust his knee pad moments before delivering the coup de grace.

2. Adam Bomb knocked Rad Radford into the next zip code with the Neutron Bomb (Flying Clothesline off the top rope) for the pinfall at 3:43.

3. The devious Repo Man (w/ Cat Burglar Mask & Tow Hook) pinned Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly with a handful of tights at 5:57 after the momentum of Holly's Pitstop Plunge (Diving Cross Body Press off the top rope) put Repo on top for the pin.

4. The Giant Gonzalez (w/ Cheesy Muscle Suit & Harvey Whippleman) over Max Moon at 4:59. Moon's attempt to leap on the Giant from the top rope ended in disaster. Gonzalez caught his opponent by the throat in mid air and planted Moon with a Chokeslam for the pinfall.

5. Men on a Mission (Mo & Mabel w/ Rapping Manager Oscar) over Shaker Heights' Beverly Brothers (Beau & Blake w/ The Genius) by DQ for outside interference at 9:44. Blake appeared to be all but pinned after Men on a Mission combined for their Hip Hop Drop (Assisted Splash) finisher, but the Genius pulled Mike Chioda out of the ring by his ankles before the ref could finish making the three count.

6. Looking for another shot at Psycho Sid to regain his Intercontinental Title, Bam Bam Bigelow's momentum was derailed by a loss to Yokozuna (w/ "Samurai Warrior" Mr. Fuji) in tonight's Main Event at 11:09. Bigelow scaled the top rope and was poised to deliver a Swan Dive Head Butt onto his downed opponent when he was suddenly distracted by a commotion at ringside. "HBK" Shawn Michaels had emerged from the locker room to sign autographs and have his picture taken with the fans. Bigelow's hesitation was just what Yokozuna needed to roll out of the way and elude the Diving Head Butt. Yokozuna then delivered his Banzai Drop (Seated Splash off the 2nd rope) to score the pinfall. Bam Bam has had his problems with the bratty Michaels as of late. Bigelow did not take kindly to HBK's shenanigans during a recent "Heartbreak Hotel" segment. No doubt tonight's incident will do little to change Bigelow's perception of one Mr. Michaels.

1. Man Mountain Rock opened the show with a rendition of the National Anthem on his WWF-shaped Electric Guitar and then promptly lost his match to Bodydonna Skip (w/ Sunny) at 5:02. The scantily clad and promiscuous Sunny bent over and gave Man Mountain Rock and eyeful which allowed Skip to sneak up from behind and score the pinfall with a Schoolboy Roll Up.

2. The Roadie (w/ "Double J" Jeff Jarrett) beat "Portugese Man O' War" Aldo Montoya at 4:40. Montoya attempted to Monkey Flip his opponent out of the corner but Jarrett held onto the Roadie causing the "Portugese Man O' War" to fall flat on his back. The Roadie then pounced on him with two feet on the ropes for leverage to gain the three count.

3. "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith over Waylon Mercy at 7:30. The Bulldog managed to break Mercy's Psycho Sleeper by backpeddling into the corner turnbuckle with a hard jolt. Davey Boy then hoisted Mercy up and delivered the Running Powerslam for the win.

4. Everyone's favorite sanitation engineer Duke "The Dumpster" Droese (w/ Back Support Belt & Trash Can) lost to "The King of Harts" Owen Hart at 6:11. Duke was able to elude Hart's dreaded Sharpshooter however he could not avoid the Enziguri Kick that led to the three count.

5. The Caribbean Connection of Savio Vega & "Da Bad Guy" Razor Ramon (w/ Toothpick Flick & Oozing Machismo) over Johnny Polo's Quebecers (Jacques & Pierre) by DQ at 8:29. Polo was caught red-handed smashing Savio in the back with his Polo Mallet by Referee Joey Marella to draw the disqualification for his team.

6. Intercontinental Title Match. "The Showstopper ! The Icon ! The Main Event" HBK Shawn Michaels brought his hometown fans to their feet by defeating and dethroning Psycho Sid to win the Intercontinental Title at 14:27. With Referee Dave Hebner knocked down in the action, Sid brought a chair into the ring with the intention of Powerbombing Michaels onto it, however HBK flipped out of the move and drove the champ down face-first into the chair with a loud "clang" as Hebner recovered to make the three count. 1. Harvey Whippleman's team of Well Dunn (Timothy Well & Steven Dunn) defeated the duo of Bob Cook & Scotty Taylor at 4:02. Taylor was pinned by an Assisted Flying Forearm from Steve Dunn.

2. Mr. Bob Backlund over Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly via Submission with the Crossface Chicken Wing at 5:48. As usual, the looney Backlund refused to release the hold until Holly shouted, "I quit, Mr. Backlund !"

3. "Native American" Tatanka put away the shady Repo Man (w/ Cat Burglar Mask & Tow Hook) in a hard fought victory at 7:15. Tatanka was nearly counted out after being tossed out of the ring and taking a bad spill on the floor. Repo attempted to Suplex the Native American back inside the ring from the apron but Tatanka dropped out of the move and rolled up his opponent from behind for the pinfall.

4. Arkansas Hog Farmers the Godwinns (Henry O. & Phineas I.) defeated the masked Conquistadors at 4:49. The Godwinns combined for a Double Slop Drop (Inverted DDT) to pin Conquistador #1.

5. "Made in the USA" Lex Luger received an unexpected assist from "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase in his victory over the Million Dollar Corporation's "Supreme Fighting Machine" Kama. Dibiase inadvertently smashed Kama over the head with his Million Dollar Belt in the corner. The dazed Kama stumbled right into Luger's Ace is the Place Running Forearm for the pin.

6. WWF Title Match. Challenger Doink the Clown received a title shot at WWF Champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart and nearly stole the championship in the bout's opening moments. The Hitman waited patiently for the challenger to make his entrance as the evil carnival music played but Doink was no where to be found. The demented clown suddenly emerged from under the ring, snuck up from behind Hart and nearly pinned the champ with a Schoolboy Roll Up. Doink had plenty of more tricks up his sleeve including a handful of confetti to the face, itching powder and a loaded Rubber Chicken. In the end, the Hitman was counted out after slipping on a deck of playing cards strewn about the floor at ringside and receiving a Whoopy Cushion (Seated Splash) off the apron from the Challenger. Bret Hart retains the WWF title despite the loss.

1. Despite a flamboyant entrance that earned him extra points, spaceman Max Moon went down for the three count to Damien Demento at 5:22. Max attempted a Reverse Cross Body Press off the 2nd rope but found nothing but canvas. Damien followed up with a flying Knee Smash to score the pin. It has been alleged that Demento's knee pad is loaded with some sort of foreign object although nothing has ever been substantiated.

2. The Giant Gonzalez (w/ Cheesy Muscle Suit & Harvey Whippleman) was tested by Man Mountain Rock but still emerged victorious. Rock was flattened by a Big Boot off the ropes from Gonzalez for the pinfall at 6:49.

3. The Berzerker (w/ Viking Helmet, Sword & Mr. Fuji) was defeated by the crafty 1-2-3 Kid at 6:30. The Berzerker, who frequently wins his matches by count out, thought that he had tossed his opponent over the top rope but the Kid skinned the cat and flipped himself back into the ring. The Berzerker was caught from behind in a Flying Crucifix from the Kid for the three count.

4. The Head Shrinkers (Fatu & Samu w/ Afa) over "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ Blinking Sunglasses and the Fargo Strut) & the Roadie by DQ at 9:53. Double J smashed his guitar over Fatu's head to break up the pin and draw the disqualification from Referee Earl Hebner after the Head Shrinker had leapt off the top rope with a diving Splash onto the Roadie.

5. "King of Harts" Owen Hart beat Savio Vega at 11:06. Savio was going to attempt a high risk maneuver but was Drop Kicked off the top rope by Hart and crumpled to the canvas. Owen grabbed a handful of tights to secure the pin.

6. The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer & Mysterious Urn) defeated Adam Bomb in the Main Event at 9:27. It's not too often that the 'Taker faces an opponent of equal height and stature but such was the case this evening. Despite the equal match up in size, the Deadman dominated the bout and ultimately prevailed. The turning point came when both men simultaneously grabbed each other by the throat to attempt a Chokeslam. The 'Taker quickly hit a knee to the groin to double over Adam Bomb and then finished him off with the Tombstone Piledriver for the three count.

1. "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley's undefeated streak remained intact with a victory over "Wild" Bill Ash in tonight's opening bout. Ash was caught in a Schoolboy Roll Up from behind while he jawed with Referee Mark Curtis. The time of the fall was 4:24.

2. D.J. Peterson (w/ Ric McCord) beat "Gentleman" Ken Timbs (w/ "Flamboyant" Eric Embry) at 7:29. McCord's presence at ringside was huge in this bout as he was able to keep Eric Embry at bay and thwart his attempts to interfere. When Embry did finally manage to sneak into the ring, he was corralled into a noggin knocker by D.J. Peterson. Timbs was out on his feet after "the meeting of the minds" and finished off with Peterson's TNT Flying Shoulder Tackle off the second rope for the pinfall.

3. The Kansas Jayhawks ("Hangman" Bobby Jaggers & "Dirty" Dutch Mantel) over the Gibson Brothers (Rick & Robert) at 8:35. Jaggers came off the top rope with his hangman's noose and used the hemp to clothesline Rick Gibson down to the mat while Referee Bobby Simmons was sending brother Robert back to his corner. Simmons turned around to find Mantel making the cover and counted the pin.

4. Smoky Mountain TV Title Match. Challenger Porkchop Cash defeated the defending champ Dirty White Boy (w/ Dirty White Girl Kimberly) by DQ at 7:38. Kimberly's handful of powder was intended to blind Porkchop Cash but ended up in Referee Jerry Calhoun's face instead when Porkchop was able to duck at the last second. The blinded ref immediately called for the bell. Dirty White Boy retains the TV Title despite the disqualification.

5. "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs received a helping hand from Jerry "The King" Lawler to defeat Johnny "Crash" Rich at 8:02. Johnny was shoved off the top rope by Lawler just as he was setting himself to deliver a high risk maneuver. Stubbs was then able to pounce on him for the three count. The heels put the boots to Johnny after the bell until Tommy "Wildfire" Rich ran in to clean house.

6. "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol beat "The Black Rose" Loverboy Dennis Condrey at 11:50 in the Main Event. With Referee Mark Curtis toppled to the canvas during the action, Condrey brought a folding chair into the ring with bad intentions but abruptly dropped it when "The Universal Heartthrob" gave him a quick boot to the midsection. Idol then rang Condrey's bell by giving him a DDT onto the chair. Curtis recovered to count the pin on the KO'd Condrey.

Referees: Ron Sexton, Mac McMurray & Henry Van Loom

1. The colorful "Hustler" Rip Rogers (w/ Miss Brenda Britton) was counted out in his battle against the Junk Yard Dog at 5:50. As usual, Miss Brenda was serenaded with chants of "Flea Bag" from the raucous crowd. The Dog did not take kindly to Rogers trying to steel an object from his junk cart that he had brought down to ringside and redirected the Hustler into the camera crew. Rogers got tangled up in the various cords and wires and could not extricate himself in time to make Referee Ron Sexton's ten count. After the bell, JYD did a little victory dance in the ring and was blindsided by a chair shot from behind by "Dirty" Dick Slater. The bitter Rogers then re-entered the ring to assist Slater in giving the Dog a Spiked Pile Driver onto the chair.

2. Pat Rose managed to avoid Jerry Oates' devastating Spinning Toe Hold but lost nonetheless. Rose was caught in an Oklahoma Side Roll as he attempted to Back Body Drop his opponent and was cradled for the pinfall at 5:38.

3. "Tennessee Stud" Robert Fuller (w/ Miss Sylvia & Jimmy Golden) defeated Billy Joe Travis at 8:12. The veteran Fuller had his problems with Travis tonight and relied upon some help from his tag team partner Jimmy Golden to pull out the victory. Billy Joe's Monkey Flip attempt out of the corner on Fuller was thwarted when Golden held onto the Tennessee Stud to block the maneuver. Travis ended up on his back empty handed and Fuller pounced on him with a foot on the ropes for leverage to gain the three count.

4. Jim Cornette made all the difference in the bout between his charge Dr. Tom Prichard and "White Lightning" Tim Hoerner. As always, Cornette was a menace at ringside but got his comeuppance on the apron when he was bopped in the head with his own tennis racquet by Hoerner to loud cheers from the fans. The celebration was short-lived however, as Hoerner then turned around right into Dr. Tom's Superkick to the jaw for the pinfall at 7:44.

5. D.J. Peterson and Ric McCord defeated the Fabulous Blondes ("Flamboyant" Eric Embry & "Gentleman" Ken Timbs) in a wild Texas Tornado Tag Team Match (All four men allowed in the ring at once). The action was fast and furious and it did not take long for Referee Henry Van Loom to have all sorts of problems maintaining any semblance of order. Things looked grim for Ric McCord when Van Loom was toppled to the canvas and Eric Embry pulled out brass knucks from his tights. Embry instructed his partner to hold McCord for a loaded punch but the strategy backfired big time when Ric ducked at the last second leaving Ken Timbs to take the full brunt of the blow instead. D.J. Peterson then took out Embry as Van Loom recovered to count McCord's pin on the KO'd Timbs at 11:49.

6. The Main Event began as a match between "Wildfire" Tommy Rich and Colonel Buck Robley but ended up being a free-for-all that included Jerry "The King" Lawler, "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol, "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs and Tommy's cousin Johnny "Crash" Rich. Referee Mac McMurray had no choice but to throw the match out and call for the bell at 9:52.

1. Popular masked man Dixie Dynamite drew a crowd of youngsters seeking an autograph as he made his way down to ringside. Dixie dazzled with some high flying theatrics including both a forward and backward leap frog over his opponent before catching veteran Dale Veasey with the Confederate (Super) Kick to the jaw for the three count at 4:16.

2. "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley kept his Smoky Mountain undefeated streak intact with a tough fought victory over Norvell Austin at 7:49. Austin's Splash from the top rope proved to be his undoing as Cooley managed to lift a knee up just in time for the impact. Norvell had the wind knocked out of him and was cradled for the pin.

3. Jerry "The King" Lawler received a mixed reaction from the crowd as he entered the arena and then proceeded to snub wrestling legend Jackie Fargo who was seated in the first row. Jackie extended a handshake to the King which went ignored. Fargo was probably not pleased to watch Lawler go on to defeat Brad Armstrong. The King came off the 2nd rope with his patented Crown (Fist) Drop onto the downed Armstrong for the three count at 7:03.

4. Robert Gibson bested "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers (w/ Hangman's Noose) at 9:38. Jaggers stunned his opponent with an undetected low blow and went for his Hangman's Neckbreaker when Gibson abruptly reversed the maneuver into a quick Backslide for the pinfall. After the bell, Jaggers sat up on his knees shaking his head in disbelief.

5. Smoky Mountain TV Title Match. Johnny "Crash" Rich was well on his way to dethroning the Dirty White Boy as the Televison Champion until Jerry "The King" Lawler strutted down to ringside and joined Chip Kessler & Jim Cornette at the announcers' table. Although he didn't interfere in the bout, the King's presence at ringside served as a constant distraction for Johnny Rich. The two have been feuding ever since the King's arrival in the Smoky Mountain federation. Lawler and Rich got into a heated exchange on the floor while Referee Henry Van Loom laid on the ten count. Your winner and still Smoky Mountain TV Champion via Count Out at 8:40: The Dirty White Boy.

6. The team of Smoky Mountain Champion "Superstar" Bill Dundee & "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol defeated "The Good Ol' Boys" ("Filthy" Phil Hickerson & "Mr. Perfect" Jerry Stubbs w/ Jerry "The King" Lawler) at 12:27. In a case of "What goes around, comes around", Jerry Lawler climbed up on the apron with the intent to bash rival Austin Idol from behind with his Royal Scepter, but Jackie Fargo left his ringside seat and caught enough of the King's arm to redirect the smash into Phil Hickerson instead. The Univeral Heartthtob hooked a leg and that was all she wrote for Filthy Phil. After the bell, Lawler had some choice words for Fargo and received a slap across the face in return from the legend. The King had to be restrained from getting back at Fargo by his Good Ol' Boys.

1. "Hustler" Rip Rogers (w/ Miss Brenda Britton) over "White Lightning" Tim Hoerner. Miss Brenda was once again berated with chants of "Flea Bag!" by the raucous crowd but her interference made all the difference in tonight's opening bout. The tempestuous valet snuck up on the apron and slugged "White Lightning" in the back of the head with her loaded purse while her main squeeze Rip Rogers was jawing with Referee Jerry Calhoun. Rogers then pounced on the dazed Hoerner for the three count at 7:23.

2. The Junk Yard Dog was dominating his opponent "Outlaw" Joel Deaton when he was brutally assaulted by "Dirty" Dick Slater. JYD and Slater have been embroiled in a bitter feud for several months now. Slater may have taken the hostility to a new extreme by viciously clubbing the Dog from behind with a 2 x 4. Referee Bobby Simmons tried to wrest the board away but was tossed out of the ring for his trouble. Slater was finally chased off by Tommy "Wildfire" Rich who raced in from the back with a folding chair. Your winner at 6:11 via DQ due to outside interference: The battered and bruised Junk Yard Dog.

3. "The Doctor of Desire" Tom Prichard (w/ Jim Cornette) beat Billy Joe Travis with a little chicanery. Prichard was without the services of Mr. Cornette for much of this match after the pesty manager was sent to the back by Referee Fred Atkins for constantly interferring. Unfazed by this unexpected turn of events, Dr. Tom dipped into his bag of tricks to pull out a victory. Travis slingshotted himself into the ring from the apron with a Sunset Flip attempt, however Prichard sat down on his chest and held onto the ropes for leverage to gain the pinfall at 7:50.

4. Some dirty dealings took place in "Ravishing" Randy Rose's victory over Porkchop Cash at 8:28. With Referee Jerry Calhoun knocked to the canvas, Cousin Pat Rose climbed up to the apron and tossed something into the ring to "Ravishing" Randy before he was sent crashing back down to the floor by a crushing Head Butt from Cash. Porkchop turned around and was leveled by a loaded punch from Randy as Calhoun recovered to apply the three count.

5. SMW Tag Team Title Match. The Fabulous Blondes ("Flamboyant" Eric Embry & "Gentleman" Ken Timbs) came away with a victory but not the belts against the defending champs, the Nightmares (Ken Wayne & Danny Davis). Pandemonium broke loose as the action spilled outside of the ring with all four men battling on the floor. Amidst the chaos, Ken Wayne was given the Blonde Bomber (Spiked DDT) by Timbs while Referee Bobby Simmons was issuing the ten count. Eric Embry managed to roll himself back inside the ring in the nick of time to beat the count but Wayne was too badly dazed to do likewise. Your winner by Count Out: the Fabulous Blondes at 12:35 with the Nightmares retaining their titles.

6. In the Main Event, Tommy "Wildfire" Rich took the fight to Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/ Colonel Buck Robley). The King was on the defensive throughout this contest but had a fleeting opportunity to deliver his famous Piledriver. To his credit, Rich managed to drop Lawler over his back and escape the finisher. The King was then sent to the ropes and flattened by Wildfire's patented Thesz Press. The subsequent pin attempt was thwarted, however, by Lawler's pit bull Colonel Buck Robley who pulled Referee Fred Atkins out of the ring by his ankles before he could finish his three count. Atkins immediately called for the bell and awarded the match to Rich by disqualification at 17:08.

1. Up and coming "Young Stallion" Jim Powers went down to defeat at the hands of the mighty Hercules in tonight's opening bout. Powers brief spurt of offense was short circuited when he was Superplexed off the top rope as he attempted a high risk maneuver. Hercules then hoisted him up into a Torture Rack Backbreaker for the submission victory at 4:25.

2. Jose Luis Rivera defeated "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Iron Mike Sharpe at 8:39. The turning point of this bout came when Iron Mike was bopped in the head with his own controversial forearm brace by Rivera. Sharpe staggered around the ring and was pinned moments later after a Missile Drop Kick from the 2nd turnbuckle.

3. Billy Jack Haynes over veteran Terry Gibbs via submission at 5:13. Gibbs set the tone early when Billy Jack's handshake offer for a good clean match was met by a quick boot to the midsection. Haynes battled back and took control of the match with a facebuster to counter his opponent's Back Body Drop attempt. The woozy Gibbs stumbled back to his feet and was finished off with Billy Jack's Full Nelson.

"The Body Shop" Segment With Host Jesse Ventura

Ventura's guest tonight was Tito Santana (introduced as "Chico Santana" by Jesse) who is in the hunt for the Magnificent Muraco's Intercontinental Championship.

Ventura: "Tell me, Chico, where can I get me some good Mexican food here in The Motor City ?"

Santana: "First of all, it's Tito, not Chico, Jess. And second, I'm not here to talk about food. I'm here to talk about the Intercontinental Championship. Don Muraco, I had you beat for that belt in Hamilton, Ontario and you go and get yourself counted out to save your title !"

Ventura: "Now hold on there, Chico. Are you telling me that the Magnificent Muraco got himself counted out ON PURPOSE ?? Come on ! I'm not buying that for a minute !!"

Santana: "I don't care what you're buying, Jess. I caught him with my Flying Forearm and he fell through the ropes and onto the floor. He sure took his time trying to get back inside the ring. That's all I'm saying."

Ventura: "Yeah, well, all I'm saying is that you look a lot like the cook who was behind the counter at the Taco Bell that I ate at last night."

Santana: "Muraco, get ready, Brother ! I'm coming for you ! ARRIBA !!"

4. Pedro Morales beat Brutus Beefcake (w/ "Luscious" Johnny V) at 8:34. Brutus whipped Morales into the corner but hit the turnbuckle when he charged in with a running high knee smash. Beefcake staggered backward right into a Schoolboy Roll Up from Morales for the three count.

5. A ring full of mayhem led to a controversial ending in the British Bulldogs' (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) tag team match against the Hart Foundation (Bret "The Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart). Referee Dick Woehrle was knocked senseless by an errant smash from "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart's megaphone and was unable to count the pin after the Foundation hit their Hart Attack finisher (Neidhart Elevated Bear Hug & Hart Flying Clothesline) on Davey Boy Smith. The Dynamite Kid then leapt off the top rope with a Swan Dive Head Butt onto Bret who was still covering Smith. Woehrle finally shook out the cobwebs to find Dynamite now covering Hart and counted the pin at 13:11.

6. WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan (w/ T-Shirt Ripping, Muscle Posing, Ear Cupping Entrance) over "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff (w/ "Rowdy" Roddy Piper & "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton) by disqualification at 15:52. Some anxious moments for the Hulkster who was at a severe disadvantage thanks to the presence of both Orton and Piper at ringside. The end came, ironically enough, when Hogan back dropped out of Orndorff's Piledriver attempt and countered with one of his own. It looked like curtains for Mr. Wonderful but Referee Danny Davis was pulled out of the ring by Roddy Piper before he could finish making the three count. Your winner by DQ due to outside interference and still WWF World Champion: Hulk Hogan.

Announcers: "Mean" Gene Okerlund & Lord Alfred Hayes
Ring Announcer: Mel Phillips
Referees: Gilberto Roman, Dick Kroll & Swede Hansen

1. Salvatore Bellomo stirred up the fans in a spirited pre-match promo with "Mean" Gene Okerlund. His opponent Les Thornton spoiled the good vibe by attacking Sal as he was climbing through the ropes to enter the ring. Thornton's aggressive tactics would lead to this match spilling out onto the floor where the two men took turns bashing one another with objects around ringside. Referee Gilberto Roman had enough and called for the bell at 5:00.

2. Jimmy Jack Funk (w/ Lone Ranger Mask) jumped the Junk Yard Dog with his branding iron before the bell had even rung to gain the early edge. The attack cost the Dog 100 points. To make matters worse for JYD, the North-South Connection of "Adorable" Adrian Adonis & "Dirty" Dick Murdoch came down to ringside and baited him into a confrontation on the floor. While the Dog was able to hold his own against the intruders, the scuffle resulted in JYD being counted out by Referee Dick Kroll at 4:50.

3. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (w/ "Pomp & Circumstance" Entrance Music and Miss Elizabeth in his corner) defeated Brady Boone at 5:06. Credit the agile Boone for giving the Macho Man & Miss Elizabeth some anxious moments before all was said and done. Brady's Flying Cross Body Press attempt was countered when Savage caught him in mid air and planted Boone with a hard Body Slam. The Macho Man then went up top and delivered the Flying Elbow Drop to gain the three count.

4. Moondog Spot looked to make an impression on opponent Corporal Kirchner of the 82nd Airborne Division by interrupting the paratrooper's pre match interview with "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Spotty had the tables turned on him big time during the ensuing melee, however, when a wall from the set collapsed onto him. Spot's partner Rex came out to attend to him but the damage had been done. The Moondog lost 250 points as a result of injuries sustained during the tussle. Kirchner was able to ride his advantage to victory by putting Spotty away with the Parachute Drop (Fallaway Slam) at 4:57.

5. "Dirty" Dick Murdoch made his presence felt by directly altering the outcome of the bout between his tag team partner "Adorable" Adrian Adonis and "Mr. U.S.A." Tony Atlas. Adonis was tossed off the top rope and cradled by Atlas for what appeared to be a sure pinfall, however Referee Dick Kroll was knocked down in the process and unable to count the pin. Murdoch seized the moment by sneaking into the ring and reversing the cradle to put Adonis on top. Kroll finally shook out the cobwebs to make the three count on Atlas. The time of the fall was 7:22. The Junk Yard Dog was able to gain some measure of revenge on the North-South Connection by racing into the ring after the bell and cleaning house of both Adonis and Murdoch much to the delight of the fans.

6. The U.S. Express (Mike Rotundo & Barry Windham) defeated Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's team of Big John Studd & "Olympic Strongman" Ken Patera in the Main Event at 10:43. Perhaps it was the incessant chants of "Weasel" from the crowd that threw Bobby Heenan off his game tonight, but whatever the reason, "The Brain" made a huge blunder by accidentally clocking Ken Patera with what appeared to be a roll of coins in his hand. The Olympic Strongman staggered right into the waiting arms of Mike Rotundo who hoisted him up on his shoulders for an Airplane Spin. Big John Studd tried to make the save but was knocked out of the ring by a blow from the whirling Patera's boot. Rotundo made the cover and Referee Swede Hansen added the 1-2-3 to seal the win for the U.S. Express.
