Announcers: Dan Coates & Johnny Weaver
Ring Announcer: Boyd Pierce
Referees: James Beard, Rick Hazzard & "Reliable" Ralph Pulley

1. "Maniac" Matt Borne pinned Spike Huber with a Seated Splash off the top rope at 6:10.

2. Kelly Kiniski used a hidden foreign object to get several two counts on his opponent "Cowboy" Scott Casey (w/ Sunshine), but in the end the Cowboy put Kiniski away with a Running Bulldog out of the corner at 5:17.

3. "Crippler" Rip Oliver (w/ Taped Thumb & Jim Cornette) defeated Chief Mark Youngblood at 7:46. The Chief was on the warpath and had Oliver reeling with a series of Tomahawk Chops but his momentum was broken when Jim Cornette snuck into the ring to interfere. Cornette received a Tomahawk Chop to the noggin for his trouble but the distraction was just what the Crippler needed to ambush Youngblood from behind and set the Chief up for a Shoulderbreaker to score the pinfall.

4. "Gentleman" Chris Adams (w/ Nicola Roberts & Dynamic Duo tag team partner "The Handsome Half Breed from Highland Park" Gino Hernandez) defeated Brian Adidas via Count Out at 8:48. Adidas really had his work cut out for him thanks in part to one Gino Hernandez who was relentless with his contant cheap shots and interference from ringside. Adidas put up a heroic fight but the numbers game eventually caught up with him. Chris Adams took advantage of yet another Hernandez distraction to Superkick Adidas through the ropes and out of the ring where he was counted out by Referee Ralph Pulley.

5. The popular South African Simpsons (Steve & Shaun) over Jim Cornette's Midnight Express ("Beautiful Bobby Eaton & "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey) by DQ at 11:34. Referee Rick Hazzard called for the bell when Beautiful Bobby came off the top rope with Jim Cornette's tennis racquet to break up Steve Simpson's pin attempt on Condrey.

6. Texas Title Match. The Great Kabuki (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) was disqualified in his bid to unseat "Modern Day Warrior" Kerry Von Erich as Texas Champion. Kabuki unleashed his mysterious Green Mist into Referee James Beard's face to save himself from submission when he was caught in Von Erich's Iron Claw Hold. The blinded ref immediately signaled for the DQ at 14:47 and doused his face with a pitcher of ice water from the announcers' table. Kerry Von Erich retains the Texas Championship.

3. The Fantastics from the City of Angels (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) were tested by the veteran team of "Killer" Tim Brooks & "Maniac" Matt Borne but persevered to pull out a tough fought victory at 8:04. With all four men battling it out in the ring, Borne was pinned with a Fulton Flying Cross Body Press amidst all the chaos when he lost track of who the legal man was. Brooks and Borne protested the pinfall with Referee David Manning but replays showed that Manning was, in fact, correct in his decision.

4. Sleazy Jake "The Snake" Roberts (w/ Valet Nicola Roberts) beat "Master G" George Welles at 7:40. Jake stunned his opponent with a Swinging Knee Lift when Welles tucked his head too soon on a Back Body Drop attempt and then finished him off with the dreaded DDT for the pin.

5. Texas TV Title Match. Defending Televison Champ Al Madril defeated his challenger Iceman King Parsons via Count Out at 8:51. Madril was able to side-step a Parsons' charge OOR causing the Iceman to jam his shoulder into the ring post. Parsons clutched his injured arm in agony on the floor as Referee Danny Pleches laid the ten count on him and had to be assisted to the back for medical attention. Al Madril retains the TV Title.

6. In the Main Event, the Von Erich Brothers (Kevin & Mike) defeated "Playboy" Gary Hart's tandem of Abdullah the Butcher and Mark Lewin at 11:07. Hart was attempting to pass his loaded shoe into the ring to Mark Lewin when he was abruptly spun around and flattened by Fritz Von Erich who had left the broadcast table to prevent the mischief. While Lewin was lunging to get his hands on Fritz, he was rolled up from behind by Kevin for the pin.

4. Ludvig Borga (w/ Johnny Polo) pinned Adam Bomb at 11:21. Johnny Polo bashed Adam Bomb from behind with his polo mallet while Referee Danny Davis looked the other way. Borga arrogantly pinned Adam Bomb with one foot on his chest after the polo mallet shot.

5. The Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques & Raymond) at 10:36. Raymond was trapped in the Disaster's corner as Bobby Heenan held his leg from outside the ring. Typhoon hit a Corner Avalanche on Raymond and then tagged in Earthquake who finished off the Rougeau Brother with his seated Splash.

6. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ The Roadie) defeated Mike Rotundo by submission with the Figure Four Leglock at 13:46. The Roadie reached into the ring and assisted Jarrett with leverage while Referee Danny Davis pretended not to see.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund was trying to grab Mike Rotundo for a post match interview but was intercepted by Johnny Polo.

Polo: "Mike Rotundo, you came up on the short end of the stick yet again tonight. You can do better.... much better. If you're ready to start winning and are willing to listen, I've got some great ideas. Give me a call."

(Polo hands Rotundo his business card.)
Rotundo (to Okerlund): "Who is this guy ?"

Polo: "I understand that you graduated from Syracuse University with an Accounting Degree ?"

Rotundo: "That's right. What's it to you ?"

Polo: "You're a smart guy, Mike. I know you'll make the right decision. Call me, or better yet, drop by the country club. I have an interesting business proposal for you."

(Rotundo and Okerlund both watch Polo walk off.)

Okerlund: "What do you make of that, Mike Rotundo ?"

Rotundo: "I don't know what this guy wants but I'm gonna find out."

7. In the Main Event, The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) pinned Razor Ramon at 14:31. Paul Bearer hit Razor in the back of the head with the Urn while Danny Davis flirted with a pretty girl at ringside. He turned around just in time to count the winning pinfall.

WWF Results (Circa Late 80's to Early 90's) - Nassau County Coliseum, Uniondale, NY. Att: 15,915.
Announcers: Vince McMahon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel
Referee: "Dangerous" Danny Davis

1. "High Roller" Barry O over the 1-2-3 Kid via Count Out at 3:03. In OOR action, O rammed the Kid's head onto the steel barricade railing at ringside. Referee Danny Davis fast-counted to ten and signaled for the bell.

2. Big Bully Busick (w/ Harvey Whippleman) held the ropes for leverage as he pinned "Super" Mario Mancini at 5:19. Danny Davis saw the infraction but let it go. Prior to the match, Whippleman heckled Howard Finkel as Howard was announcing the introductions. (There is bad blood between Whippleman and Finkel.)

3. Mr. Bob Backlund used a hand full of tights to pin Jose Luis Rivera at 5:01. Once again, Davis ignored the infraction and counted the pin anyway. After the match, Backlund applied the Crossface Chickenwing to Rivera for several minutes until Rivera said "I quit, Mr. Backlund !!" before finally releasing the hold.

4. Bad News Brown over Duke "The Dumpster" Droese with the Ghetto Blaster (Enziguri Kick) at 4:52.

5. Men on a Mission (Mo & Mabel w/ Oscar) defeated Demolition (Ax & Smash w/ Mr. Fuji) at 9:36 with the Hip Hop Drop (Spiked Mabel Splash) onto Smash for the winning pinfall.

6. "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich beat the Magnificent Muraco (w/ Mr. Fuji) at 10:34. Fuji slipped Muraco some Brass Knucks but the Tornado was able to block the loaded punch and cause the Knucks to fall out of Muraco's hand. The Tornado then picked them up and KO'd Muraco for the pin.

7. Killer Khan (w/ Mr. Fuji) defeated Blackjack Mulligan at 13:20 in controversial fashion. Referee Danny Davis claimed that Mulligan submitted to Khan's Asiatic Spike and signaled for the bell. Mulligan vehemently denied the submission and chased Davis around the ring and back to the dressing room.

2. Hillbilly Jim defeated "No.1 Frenchman" Rene Goulet (w/ Frenchy Martin) by submission with a Bear Hug at 5:19.

3. Nailz beat "Young Stallion" Jim Powers with the Cell Block Sleeper at 5:36.

4. Hercules (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) over Adam Bomb by submission with the Full Nelson at 11:56.

5. The Hart Foundation (Brett "The Hitman" Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) beat the Smokin' Gunns (Billy & Bart Gunn) at 5:24. Neidhart pinned Billy with the Anvil Toss (Powerslam).

6. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ the Roadie) over Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat by Count Out at 13:58. Jarrett threw the Dragon OOR and distracted the referee as the Roadie whipped Steamboat into the steel barricade railing. Ricky could not recover in time to make Dave Hebner's ten count.

7. Papa Shango defeated the Ultimate Warrior by DQ at 16:29. In a bizarre ending, Papa Shango suddenly went into convulsions as the arena lights began to flicker. A mysterious black goo began to drip down the Ultimate Warrior's forehead. The Warrior staggered around a few steps and then collapsed onto the canvas. Ricky Steamboat ran into the ring to check on the Warrior and Referee Dave Hebner called for the disqualification due to outside interference. Shango went into convulsions again and the lights went completely out. Many frightened youngsters in attendance began to scream. When the lights were restored, Ricky Steamboat was out cold on the mat covered in the black goo, but Papa Shango had vanished in the darkness without a trace.

AWA Results (Circa Late 70's) - Pershing Auditorium, Lincoln, NE. Att: 4,319.

Announcers: Gene Okerlund & Verne Gagne
Ring Announcer: Al DeRusha
Referees: Rod Luck, Pete Mymko & Joe Fiorino

1. With the ten minute time limit rapidly expiring, Paul Christy managed to pull out a last second victory over Steve Regal in tonight's opening bout. A series of rolling cradles ended up with Christy on top to decide this very competitive contest. The time of the fall was 9:49.

2. Big Bad Bobby Duncum (w/ manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) over Puppy Dog Peloquin at 3:06. As expected, this match was all Duncum right from the opening bell. The big Cowboy punished Peloquin with a crushing Powerslam before finishing him off with a Running Bulldog out of the corner.

3. Moose Morowski did his homework by not testing Pepper Gomez' famous cast iron stomach but the rest of his strategy didn't pan out so well. Morowski removed the padding from a corner turnbuckle but had his own head rammed into it by Gomez leading to the pinfall at 7:24.

4. "Nature Boy" Roger Kirby caught a lucky break in his DQ victory over the young Canadien superstar Dino Bravo at 8:41. Kirby used a foreign object throughout this match but finally had it pried from his grasp by his frustrated and determined opponent. Bravo held the object aloft for all to see and threatened to let Kirby have a taste of his own medicine when Referee Pete Mymko abruptly called for the bell and disqualified him. Bravo vehemently protested and insisted that the weapon came from Kirby but Mymko's decision stood.

5. "High Flyer" Greg Gagne let his emotions get the better of him in a Count Out loss against Bob Orton Jr. at 7:38. Pat Patterson & Ray "The Crippler" Stevens, who have been chasing the High Flyers for the AWA Tag Team Titles for quite some time, came down to ringside to stir up some trouble. Gagne took the bait and got into a heated confrontation with them OOR while Referee Joe Fiorino laid the ten count on him. Patterson and Stevens challenged the High Flyers to a tag team title match inside a steel cage next week which Gagne readily accepted.

6. The Main Event was billed in tonight's program as Lord Alfred Hayes' Super Destroyers Mark II & III vs. Billy Robinson and a Mystery Partner. Well, the fans got more than they bargained for when none other than "The Eighth Wonder of the World" Andre the Giant lumbered down to ringside to stand beside Robinson. Hayes immediately protested the match but Referee Rod Luck had no issues with Andre being the mystery partner. Hayes had good reason to be agitated because his team of masked men were completely dominated. Super Destroyer Mark III was the recepient of a Double Underhook Suplex from Robinson followed by a Seated Splash on his chest from the Giant for the three count at 8:06.

AWA Results (Circa Late 70's) - Minneapolis Auditorium, Minneapolis, MN. Att: 8,947.

Announcers: Rodger Kent & Gene Okerlund
Ring Announcer: Marty O'Neill
Referees: Jack Pesek, Marty Miller & Merv Unger

1. Blackjack Lanza (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) seem startled by the loud ovation that his opponent "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay received. Kenny doesn't win too often but the fans know that he always gives it his all. Perhaps inspired by the crowd's enthusiastic support, the Sodbuster gave Blackjack fits tonight and nearly pulled off an amazing upset with a Small Package. Alas, it was not to be and defeat seemed inevitable for Jay thereafter. Lanza regrouped and scored the pinfall with a Brainbuster at 5:44.

2. In contrast, the technically sound but bland Evan Johnson could barely evoke the faintest reaction from the Minneapolis faithful. His opponent Jan Nelson fared no better. The crowd was indifferent when Johnson finally won the match with a Sunset Flip on Nelson's Back Body Drop attempt at 8:16.

3. El Bracero's aerial attack was grounded by the much larger Angelo "King Kong" Mosca who dominated the action with his size and rough house tactics. A desperation Drop Kick by Bracero was thwarted when his opponent put on the brakes as he bounded off the ropes. Mosca then connected with a Backbreaker across the knee for the three count at 6:35.

4. Mighty Igor Vodik drew a crowd of youngsters as he made his way to the ring to face Bull Bullinski. The Bull used an arsenal of dirty tactics to keep Igor on the defensive. Despite avoiding Vodik's crushing Bear Hug finisher, Bullinski was sent crashing head-first into the turnbuckle post following an Atomic Knee Drop and staggered backward into a Roll Up from behind by Igor for the 1-2-3 at 7:04.

5. Da Crusha put away Lord Alfred Hayes' masked Super Destroyer Mark III at 9:38. The snooty Hayes was a force to be reckoned with at ringside with his constant interference. Crusher finally corralled him into a Noggin Knocker with the Destroyer when the pesty manager was caught up on the apron. The woozy masked man was then finished off with Crusher's trademark Bolo Punch for the pinfall.

6. Steel Cage AWA Tag Team Title Match. (Match can be won by pinfall or submission). It appeared as though the reigning champs, the High Flyers (Greg Gagne & "Jumping" Jim Brunzell) had played right into their challengers' hands when they agreed to put their belts on the line inside a steel cage, but it was their rivals the San Francisco Connection of Pat Patterson & Ray "The Crippler" Stevens who took a beating. Both Stevens and Patterson were busted open from having their faces run repeatedly into the unforgiving cage walls. The match unraveled into chaos with all four men slugging it out toe to toe while Referee Marty Miller desperately tried to restore order. Amidst the chaos, the bloody Pat Patterson pulled brass knucks from his trunks and decked Jim Brunzell with a loaded punch. The frazzled ref counted Patterson's pin on Brunzell despite the fact that Greg Gagne was the legal man for his team at the time. Your winner at 14:17 and Neeeeeewwwww AWA Tag Team Champions - Ray Stevens & Pat Patterson !

AWA Results (Circa Late 70's) - St. Paul Civic Center, St. Paul, MN. Att: 8,394.

Announcers: Rodger Kent & Wally Karbo
Ring Announcer: Al DeRusha
Referees: Jack Pesek, Marty Miller & George "Scrap Iron" Gadaski

1. Buddy Wolfe opened the show with a victory over Dick Reynolds at 5:39. After Al DeRusha's ring introductions were made, Reynolds insisted that Referee Jack Pesek thoroughly examine his opponent's taped thumb. (Wolfe has been known to use it as a weapon in his matches.) The inspection proved to be fruitless for whenever Pesek would try to touch the suspicious thumb, Wolfe would bellow in pain and immediately withdraw it. Pesek threw up his hands in frustration and signalled for the match to begin. Sure enough when the time was right, Wolfe used his body to block out Pesek's vision and jabbed the thumb into Reynold's throat to gain the tainted three count.

2. "Polish Prince" Steve Olsonoski from Edina, MN received a nice hand as he made his entrance. Steve O stopped to sign an autograph or two at ringside and was jumped from behind by his opponent Herman Schafer who then body slammed him to the floor. Olsonoski shook off the blow and retaliated in kind. Once the action moved inside the squared circle, the Polish Prince asserted his dominance. Schafer was pinned after an Airplane Spin at the 6:16 mark.

3. The bad blood between the High Flyers and the team of Pat Patterson & Ray "The Crippler" Stevens spilled over into Patterson's singles match against "Irish" Mickey Doyle this evening. Still smarting from dropping the tag team titles in Minneapolis, Greg Gagne's temper got the better of him as he ran in with a Flying Drop Kick to Patterson's kisser and then unloaded with a barrage of stomps and punches. Referee George Gadaski had to call for backup to pull the enraged Gagne off of Patterson. It was an ugly scened and resulted in Patterson being awarded the victory by way of disqualification at 3:30 due to Gagne's interference.

4. Sailor Art Thomas over Big Bad Bobby Duncum (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by DQ at 11:47. This bout seemed destined to end up on the floor where Heenan and Duncum were corralled together and given a mighty noggin knocker by Thomas much to the delight of the fans. It appeared as though both men would be counted out as the battle continued until Duncum ran the Sailor face-first into the ring post. Referee Marty Miller immediately stopped his ten count and called for the disqualification. Thomas was busted open from the blow and had to be assisted to the back.

5. The tag team bout between Larry "The Axe" Hennig & Rufus R. "Freight Train" Jones and the East-West Connection of Jesse "The Body" Ventura & "Golden Boy" Adrian Adonis turned into complete mayhem in the ring. With all four men ignoring his attempts to restore order, Referee Jack Pesek had no choice but to call for the bell and disqualify both teams at 9:52.

6. There's just something special about a Verne Gagne/Nick Bockwinkel match - all the more so when the AWA World Championship is on the line. Unfortunately, thirty minutes was simply not enough time to decide a winner between these two. Both men matched one another hold for hold and even managed to escape each other's Sleepers. Bockwinkel's shady manager Bobby Heenan was banished from ringside by Referee Marty Miller in the early going and was pretty much a non-factor. The bout was officially declared a "Time Limit Draw" by Miller with Bockwinkel retaining his AWA Title. Commentator and promotor Wally Karbo closed the show by vowing to put together a rematch with a one hour time limit.

AWA Results (Circa Late 70's) Mary E. Sawyer Auditorium, LaCrosse, WI. Att: 2,358.

Ring Announcer: Marty O'Neill
Referees: Rod Luck & Merv Unger

1. "Nature Boy" Roger Kirby grabbed the house mic away from Marty O'Neill and claimed that LaCrosse, WI didn't deserve to be graced by his presence which drew a loud chorus of "Boos!" from the spectators. Kirby promptly dropped the mic and proceeded to head back to the dressing room until Referee Rod Luck began to administer his ten count. Kirby raced back into the ring and took out his wrath on opponent Al Ringo. An undetected low knee to the groin doubled over Ringo and set him up for a Kirby Piledriver for the pinfall at 4:24.

2. Chris Markoff (w/ pompous manager Lord Alfred Hayes) defeated "The Polish Prince" Steve Olsonoski at 7:16. Hayes lended a hand (literally) in the outcome of this match by reaching into the ring and tripping Steve O to the canvas. Markoff seized the opportunity by quickly scaling the top rope and landing a Knee Drop to Olsonoski's throat to gain the three count.

3. Dino Bravo over Moose Morowski (subbing for Ray "The Crippler" Stevens who was announced as a "No Show" ) by DQ at 7:54. No Show my foot! As it turned out, Stevens was waiting in the wings the entire time for the right moment to attack. The opportunity came when Bravo hoisted Moose up on his shoulders for an Airplane Spin. Stevens suddenly bolted out of the shadows and blindsided Dino from behind. Morowski was more than happy to join in on the beatdown until Greg Gagne ran in with a folding chair to make the save and cleared the ring of the heels.

4. Promotor Wally Karbo was finally able to persuade Lord Alfred Hayes into signing the dotted line and face arch rival and nemesis Billy Robinson inside the squared circle. Little did anyone know that Hayes' stablehand Chris Markoff would be present at ringside for the highly anticipated match. It did not take long for Markoff to interject himself once his manager found himself in trouble. Caught in a Sleeper Hold in the middle of the ring with arms flailing wildly, Hayes screamed for Markoff who immediately entered the ring and attacked Robinson from behind to draw the disqualification at 6:30. Steve Olsonoski then raced in to even the odds. A standoff ensued with both sides pointing fingers and challenging one another to a tag match.

5. The bout between "High Flyer" Greg Gagne and Jesse "The Body" Ventura of the East-West Connection ended as a Double Count Out at 9:02. Gagne connected with a Flying Cross Body Press, but the momentum of the maneuver sent both men toppling over the top rope and crashing down to the floor below. Ventura and Gagne continued to trade punches OOR long after Referee Merv Unger's ten count had expired.

6. Nothing seemed to go right for the Heenan Family in tonight's Main Event as Blackjack Lanza & Big Bad Bobby Duncum went down to defeat at the hands of "The Eight Wonder of the World" Andre the Giant and his partner the Crusher. Even pesty manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan found himself far too often on the receiving end of the punishment. Heenan was caught up in a triple noggin knocker with his Family members and knocked flying off the apron. In the meantime, the dazed Duncum staggered right into Crusher's famous Bolo Punch and was laid out flat on the mat. All that was left was for Andre to have a seat on the big Cowboy's chest while Referee Rod Luck made the three count at 8:13.

NWA Mid-Atlantic Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, NC. Att: 12,855.

Announcers: David Crockett & Les Thatcher
Ring Announcer: Ted Guinness
Referees: Tommy Young & Mike Atkins

1. Black Bart (w/ Branding Iron & James J. Dillon) put away Vinnie Valentino with the Texas Trash Compactor (Diving Leg Drop off the 2nd rope) at 2:59.

2. Don Kernodle over George South via submission with the Cobra Clutch at 4:38.

3. "Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez surprised Chief Wahoo McDaniel with a School Boy Roll Up for the pinfall at 8:48 while the Chief was arguing with Referee Mike Atkins.

Interview segment with David Crockett, and former NWA TV Champion Tully Blanchard along with Blanchard's "Perfect 10" Baby Doll. (Blanchard is sporting a bandage on his forehead courtesy of Baby Doll's inadvertent TV Title Belt smash that cost him the championship against "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Baby Doll is just seething and pacing back and forth as Blanchard has some harsh words for "The Dream". Tully says "the hunted has become the hunter". Blanchard says "Big Dust, you don't ever lay a hand on my woman again," (Rhodes embarrassed Baby Doll by swatting her fanny to precipitate the errant belt smash). Tully demands a rematch - inside a steel cage - and tells Crockett to "make it happen".

4. "Number One" Paul Jones Army of "Superstar" Billy Graham and the Barbarian beat the Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) at 8:52. Tag Team chaos in the ring with both Gibson and the "Superstar" knocked down following a violent mid-ring collision off the ropes. As Referee Tommy Young was sending Ricky Morton back to his corner, the Barbarian leapt off the top rope with a Diving Head Butt onto the prone Gibson and then laid Graham's arm across Robert's chest. Young turned around and counted the pin on Gibson.

5. United States Title Match. Popular champ Magnum T.A. was counted out against his challenger Krusher Khruschev (w/ Russian Flag & Nikita Koloff) at 7:59. Khruschev tossed Magnum OOR and distracted Referee Mike Atkins while Nikita leveled the Champ with a Russian Sickle on the floor. Magnum was down and out for the ten count but retains the United States Title.

6. NWA World Title Match. Challenger Terry Funk (w/ fake NWA Belt) was defeated by the Champion, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (w/ the real "Ten Pounds of Gold" ) at 19:04. Apparently, Funk wasn't satisified with his mock belt and tried to bash Flair with the real McCoy but a Low Blow from the "Nature Boy" caused him to drop the belt on the canvas. "Slick" Ric followed up with a DDT onto the belt to pin the challenger and received a huge ovation from the Greensboro faithful. "Wooooooooooooo !"

3. Tully Blanchard (w/ his "Perfect 10" Baby Doll) beat Lazer Tron with the Slingshot Suplex at 7:24. Prior to the bout, Tully rudely interrupted Bob Caudle's interview with Lazer Tron at ringside to spout off about a rematch with "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes for the TV Title.

4. Jim Cornette's Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) defeated "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant and his partner "Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez at 8:58. Cornette put another notch in his beloved tennis racket by clubbing Fernandez from behind while the referee's back was turned to set up the pin for "Sweet" Stan.

5. "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin over Ole Anderson by DQ at 9:50. Ole pulled Referee Stu Schwartz in front of himself just as Garvin was about to deliver his "Hands of Stone" KO Punch to draw the disqualification. Schwartz was dazed but fortunately did not catch the full brunt of the blow.

6. In the Main Event, "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff (w/ Ivan Koloff and Russian Chain) beat Rick Steamboat at 18:11. Nikita used a distraction from his Uncle Ivan to bash Steamboat with the chain and score the winning pinfall.

Khruschev came within an eyelash of winning the belt after a vicious Russian Sickle. While Krusher and Koloff argued with Referee Tommy Young over an alleged slow count, Dusty snuck up from behind with a Schoolboy Roll Up to pin Khruschev and retain the TV Title.

6. "Outlaw" Ron Bass (w/ J.J. Dillon in a beige tuxedo) over Barry Windham by Count Out at 8:05. Barry could not believe it.

After the bout, the "Boogie-Woogie Man" held court and challenged Paul Jones' Army of "Superstar" Billy Graham and the Barbarian to a tag match next week against himself and Manny Fernandez with the following stipulation - should Valiant's team win, the "Boogie-Woogie Man" gets Jones one-on-one in a steel cage match the following week.

3. Tully Blanchard (w/ his "Perfect 10" Baby Doll and a legit handshake at the bell to begin the match) defeated ring veteran Nelson Royal in a surprisingly scientific bout. Very little bending of the rules by Blanchard who pinned Nelson with his signature Slingshot Suplex at 6:00.

Interview with Bob Caudle and the brash NWA World Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair concerning his up coming title defense against Mr. Wrestling II in tonight's Main Event. Vintage Flair interview. The "Nature Boy" is stylin' and profilin' with his gold Rolex watch, designer sunglasses and expensive suit. "To be the man, you gotta beat the man !" yadda... yadda... yadda... A heckler in the crowd interrupts Flair's spiel. The champ is none too happy, "Shut your mouth !" Flair shouts. "When I'm talking, you zip it, understand ? Maybe I'll take that girlfriend of yours sitting next to you and make a woman out of her tonight." (Some cat calls and cheers from the crowd.) The "Nature Boy" now turns his attention to the young lady, "I'll show you why I'm the sixty-minute man, baby ! Space Mountain always has the longest line ! Wooooooooo !!!" Flair is a heel but he's getting a ton of cheers and support tonight from his hometown fans. He's got Charlotte wrapped around his finger by the time he wraps up his interview.

4. Black Bart (w/ Ten Gallon Hat, Branding Iron & James J. Dillon in his corner) over "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler at 8:19. Tyler seemed to have things going his way until J.J. Dillon reached into the ring and tripped him as he bounded off the ropes. Bart followed up with the Texas Trash Compactor (Leg Drop off the top rope) to score the pinfall.

5. "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff (w/ 10 feet of Russian Chain & Uncle Ivan) and his opponent "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin were DQ'd by Stu Schwartz at 12:25 after both men repeatedly ignored the referee's warnings and slugged it out toe-to-toe. After the bell, Ivan Koloff ran in with the chain only to be decked by a Garvin "Hands of Stone" haymaker.

6. NWA World Title Match. In the Main Event, The Champion, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (w/ Blue Sequin Robe & the Ten Pounds of Gold) defeated challenger Mr. Wrestling II (w/ his Iconic White Mask & Black Trim) in thriller at 39:03. This match had all of the signature "Nature Boy" moments - the loud, stinging, backhand knife-edge chops in the corner, then reversed by Mr. Wrestling II, with Flair flopping face-first to the canvas... Slick Ric climbing up to the top rope only to be tossed off and landing hard on his back... the begging for mercy on his knees followed by a low blow between the wickets... the "Nature Boy" Strut and a loud "Wooooooo !" and Flair flipping over the top turnbuckle on a hard corner whip by his opponent.

The turning point of the match came when the "Nature Boy", caught in Wrestling II's Sleeper and fading fast, desperately kicked off the top corner turnbuckle to escape the hold and knocked over Referee Mike Atkins who was behind them sending all three men crashing to the mat. The fans were on their feet and sensing a title change when Mr. Wrestling II connected with his Million Dollar Knee Lift on the woozy champion, but Atkins was still out of it and unable to make the three count. As Wrestling II tried to revive the ref, Flair grabbed his Championship Belt off the time keeper's table and whacked his masked opponent in the head with it. Atkins finally shook out the cobwebs to find Flair making the cover on his KO'd challenger and counted the pin. Ric Flair retains the NWA World Championship.

Toward the conclusion of the match, Freebird Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy came down to ringside to watch. With Referee Tommy Gilbert down, the action spilled outside the ring. Gordy became involved in the fracas and swung a chair. It was not clear who Gordy's intended target was, but the One Man Gang side-stepped the chair shot and Austin Idol took it flush across the back. The Gang rolled back inside the ring while a revived Tommy Gilbert put the ten count on Idol.

With Jim Ross screaming "We're out of time !! We're out of time !!" at the top of his lungs, Gordy and Idol battled into the crowd as the program went off the air.

Interview

Ross: "Alright, fans, I'm being joined now by the First Couple of Professional Wrestling, "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt."

(Gilbert is wearing sunglasses and sporting a large bandage on his forehead. His face still appears swollen after his recent Cajun Cage Match with Terry Taylor.)

Ross: "Eddie Gilbert, I see that you are still on the mend after one of the most brutal and barbaric cage matches that I have personally ever witnessed."

Missy Hyatt: "Terry Taylor is nothing but an animal and he should be locked up in that steel cage for good !!"

(Missy gives Gilbert a peck on the cheek and Gilbert winces from the pain.)

Missy Hyatt: "Oops, I'm sorry, Pumpkin!" (Gilbert rubs his cheek gingerly.)

Gilbert: "Terry Taylor, you got the better of me in Baton Rouge, son, but this ain't over by a long shot. (He points to the bandage on his forehead). You see this ?? Well, this isn't the end, this is just the beginning !!"

(The interview is abruptly interrupted by "Gentleman" Chris Adams who is on his way to the ring with Sunshine for the Main Event.)

(Sunshine has a good laugh as Missy Hyatt has to hold Gilbert back and restrain him from lunging at Adams. They continue to have words as Big Bubba Rogers makes his way to the ring.)
