Hogan: "You know, Impact-a-Maniacs, it's only fitting that tonight's show be held right here in The Asylum. We've come full circle with this whole Mr. Wrestling III thing, Brother. You see, Masked Man, you've been pretty elusive and clever, but you slipped up, Dude. Back in June, right here in this very arena, Brother, you snuck into a storage room to put on your mask. Well, you should have done your homework, Dude, because there was a camera in there to record the whole thing."
(The Hulkster holds up the surveillance tape and chuckles to himself)
Hogan: "Now we can do this one or two ways, Brother. Either you come out here and reveal your identity to everyone.... or I roll the footage on the jumbo tron up there and do it for you, Dude. You have until the end of the show to decide. It's your choice, Brother.... but one way or another the whole world is going to know who Mr. Wrestling III is before this night is over !!"

1. X Division Triple Threat Match. Michael Shane vs Chad Collyer vs Abismo Negro
After several near pinfalls by all three competitors, Michael Shane gained the three count on Abismo Negro with his Picture Perfect Diving Elbow Drop off the top rope at 4:13.
2. Gail Kim (w/ Madison Rayne) defeated Tara (w/ Miss Tessmacher) at 6:29. Gail held the ropes for leverage to secure the pin after Tara missed a corner charge and hit the ring post shoulder-first. Madison Rayne assisted the pin by holding Tara's foot to prevent her from kicking out.
3. "The War Machine" Rhino over Gunner (w/ Kid Ka$h) at 8:34. Ka$h was a constant distraction around ringside but his interference was not enough to help lead Gunner to victory. Rhino caught Ka$h sneaking into the ring and gave both him and Gunner a Noggin Knocker. Rhino then finished off the dizzy Gunner with the Gore (Running Spear) for the pinfall.
4. TV Tournament Match. Orlando Jordan vs Robbie E (w/ bouncer Robbie T & valet Cookie)
This match was ruled a "No Contest" by Referee Bruce Gray after both competitors were KO'd in a violent mid-ring collision. Neither man could get to his feet by Gray's ten count.
5. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) defeated Mexican America (Anarquia & Hernandez w/ Rosita & Sarita) at 9:21. Sarita tried to slip Anarquia some Brass Knucks in the ring but they were intercepted by Shelley who used them to KO Anarquia for the pinfall.
6. TNA Title Match. The Champ, "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy, put the gold on the line against the challenger, "The King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett (w/ trusty guitar and the Fargo Strut).
This was a see-saw battle with both men scoring near pinfalls. With Referee Andrew Thomas kocked down in the action, Mr. Wrestling III ran into the ring and bashed Jeff Jarrett from behind with his own guitar. Mr. Wrestling III motioned for Hardy to make the cover on the KO'd Jarrett but "The Charismatic Enigma" refused. Hardy confronted the masked man instead and the two men traded haymakers in the ring. During the brawl, Hardy was finally able to unmask the mysterious Mr. Wrestling III. To his shock, the masked man turned out to be his own brother Matt Hardy !! With a deranged look in his eye, Matt gave "The Charismatic Enigma" the Twist of Fate and draped Jarrett's arm across his brother's chest. Referee Andrew Thomas recovered enough to crawl over and count the pin. Jeff Jarrett is the neeeeeeeeeewwwww TNA Champion.

1. Frankie Kazarian (w/ Christopher Daniels) defeated Kenny King with the Fade To Black (Back to Belly Piledriver) at 8:28. Daniels was a nuisance at ringside and a constant distraction for King.
2. Knockouts Fatal Four Way Number One Contenders Match. ODB vs. "Hardcore Country" Mickie James vs. Miss Tessmacher vs. Rosita
After several near pinfalls by all participants, Miss Tessmacher scored the three count on Rosita with the Tess-Shocker (Belly to Back Facebuster) at 9:16. Miss Tessmacher will face Madison Rayne next week for the Knockouts Championship.
3. Gutcheck Match. Alex Silva vs. Kid Ka$h for a TNA Contract and a spot on the roster.
Kid Ka$h toyed with Alex Silva and tried to humiliate the youngster by pulling him up on several two counts. Ka$h finally pinned Silva with the Money Maker (Double Underhook Piledriver) at 8:03. Gutcheck judges Bruce Pritchard, Al Snow & Tazz will render their decisions later in the show.
4. The Jersey Shore (Robbie E & bouncer Big Robbie T w/ Cookie) over Ink, Inc. (Shannon Moore & Jesse Neal w/ Daffney) at 10:46. Robbie E pinned Moore after Big Robbie T smashed Moore in the back of the head with "The List, Bro" clipboard behind Referee Brian Stiffler's back.

Despite being mauled for over eight minutes by Kid Ka$h, Pritchard and Snow were impressed with Alex Silva's "spunk" to award him a TNA contract. Ka$h was seen laughing and shaking his head in disbelief as he watched the judges results from a TV monitor in the back.
5. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles over Misssssssssster Annnnnderrrrrrsonnnn-ah with the Spiral Tap (Diving Corckscrew Senton Splash off the top rope) at 10:47.
6. "Cowboy" James Storm defeated "Olympic Gold Medalist" Kurt Angle via Count Out at 13:30. Storm and Angle brawled into the concession area of the North Charleston Coliseum before heading back toward ringside. Angle was intercepted by TNA Champion Jeff Jarrett enroute and immediately got into a heated confrontation with the champ. Referee Scott James put the ten count on Angle after James Storm had returned to the ring.

1. X Division. Homicide (w/ Attorney Joseph Park, Esq.) over Sonjay Dutt at 8:10. Referee Andrew Thomas was completely intimidated by Attorney Park's presence at ringside. (Park is aggresively pursuing litigation against suspended TNA Referee Mike Posey for allegedly discriminating against his client Homicide because of his Latino heritage). Homicide used a handful of tights to pin Dutt. Thomas saw the infraction but counted the pin anyway.
2. Eric Young (w/ nagging wife ODB ) defeated Gunner at 5:25. ODB constantly harrassed her hubby about taking her to KFC for fried chicken after the show but was unable to catch his attention. ODB pulled a flask from her blouse, took a swig, and tried to clock her husband with it but inadvertently KO'd Gunner instead. Surprised by his good fortune, Young pounced on Gunner for the pin. ODB quickly led Eric out of the arena by his ear. The couple were seen driving off in their beatup pickup truck.
3. Knockouts Championship Match. The Champ, Madison Rayne, dubiously defeated Number One Contender Miss Tessmacher via Count Out at 6:32. Madison choked out Tessmacher on the floor with an extension cord during OOR action. Referee Earl Hebner saw the blatant infraction, but rather than admonishing Madison and DQing her, he put a fast ten count on a stunned Miss Tessmacher instead. Madison Rayne retains the Title.
4. TV Title Tournament Match. Robbie E (w/ a lifetime supply of hair gel, bouncer Big Robbie T and girlfriend Cookie) defeated Orlando Jordan by DQ at 7:43. Cookie slid "The List, Bro" clipboard into the ring for Robbie E to use but Orlando Jordan saw it first and smashed it over Robbie's head. Referee Earl Hebner saw the incident and immediately disqualified Jordan.
Backstage Interview with Jeremy Borash and Matt Hardy.
Borash asks Hardy why he interferred in countless matches as the mysterious "Mr. Wrestling III". Hardy has a wild look in his eye. His hair is a mess and he clearly doesn't have all his paddles in the water. He gives no answer. Borash then asks him why he gave his own brother Jeff the Twist of Fate and cost him the TNA Championship to Jeff Jarrett. Matt explodes in a fit of rage. He corrects Borash and says that the move is called the "Twist of Hate" and storms off down a corridor.
5. Mexican America (Anarquia & Hernandez w/ Rosita, Sarita & Attorney Joseph Park, Esq.) over the Young Bucks (Max & Jeremy) at 9:20. With Max Buck pummeling him in the corner, a desperate Anarquia grabbed Attorney Park's briefcase and clobbered Max with it. Once again overly conscious of Park's presence at ringside, Referee Andrew Thomas was reluctant to call for the disqualification and instead counted the pin after Anarquia covered the KO'd Max.
6. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero beat "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (w/ green Appletini Cocktail and Frankie Kazarian) at 10:39. Daniels was caught off guard conferring with Kazarian, spun around and laid out with a Double Knee Facebuster by the Pope for the winning pinfall.
7. "The It Factor" Bobby Roode (w/ mentor "Nature Boy" Ric Flair) defeated "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy in the Main Event at 13:01. With Referee Earl Hebner knocked down in the action, the demented Matt Hardy ran in and gave his brother the "Twist of Hate". Roode followed that up with his own finisher The Payoff (Cradle Suplex) as Earl Hebner recovered to count the pin.

1. X Division. The Amazing Red defeated Zema Ion with the Red Eye (Leaping Tornado DDT off the top rope) at 5:14. Zema Ion's chances for victory were severely hampered when the Amazing Red blocked a pre-match sneak attack and clocked Ion with his own can of hairspray.
2. The demented Matt Hardy beat Jason Cross with the Twist of Hate at 3:28.
3. Knockouts Division. The team of "Hardcore Country" Mickie James and Velvet Skye defeated Mexican America (Rosita & Sarita w/ Anarquia, Hernandez & Attorney Joseph Park, Esq.) at 6:41. Anarquia tossed Attorney Park's briefcase into the ring for Rosita to use but Velvet Skye saw it first and gave Rosita the Beauty-T (DDT) on top of it for the pinfall.
4. "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens) at 11:06. Kaz with the Flux Capacitor (Belly to Belly Suplex off the top rope) on Douglas for the winning pinfall.
5. TV Tournament Match. Devon eliminated Crimson at 12:16. Crimson got into it with Referee Brian Hebner for an alleged slow count after a huge Spear off the ropes. Devon took advantage of the moment with a Schoolboy Roll Up from behind on the distracted Crimson for the pin to advance.
6. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles defeated Bully Ray in the Main Event with the Styles Clash at 12:30 after Bully managed to kick out of the Spiral Tap (Corkscrew Senton Splash off the top rope) moments earlier.

3. The Young Stallions (Paul Roma & Jim Powers) over the Conquistadors 1 & 2 at 3:28. Powers pinned Conquistador #1 with a Power Slam off the ropes.
4. Nikolai Volkoff defeated Billy Jack Haynes at 6:47. "Classy" Freddie Blassie hit Haynes with his cane while Volkoff distracted Referee Dave Hebner leading to the pinfall.
5. The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) beat the Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by DQ at 11:12. Referee Dave Hebner caught Earthquake hitting Davey Boy in the back with a chair and immediately called for the bell.
6. The Magnificent Muraco (w/ Mr. Fuji) pinned Pedro Morales with his Tombstone Piledriver at 12:40 after a distraction by Mr. Fuji.
7. In the Main Event, Hulk Hogan defeated "King" Harley Race (w/ Bobby Heenan) at 14:32. Heenan reached into the ring and accidently tripped Race coming off the ropes leading to the pin.

1. Grudge Match. Steve Lombardi defeated former Tag Team partner "High Roller" Barry O with a Swinging Neckbreaker at 2:20. Barry cost Lombardi a match recently against Scotty McGhee after an accidental chair shot. Barry was the face in this match and got some cheers from the fans during his ring introduction.
2. Outback Jack and Jimmy Jack Funk were both counted out at 4:19. Both men took a nasty fall off the ramp and into the pit as they battled OOR.
3. Battle Kat upset "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton at 8:31. Orton hit Battle Kat with his Superplex finisher but knocked over Referee Nick Kozak in the process. "Ace" was rolled up from behind for the pinfall as he helped Kozak get to his feet.
4. "Adorable" Adrian Adonis (w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) pinned the Junk Yard Dog with both his feet on the ropes for leverage at 8:30.
5. The Islanders (Haku & Tama) defeated the Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine w/ Johnny V.) at 8:09. As Valentine distracted the referee, Beefcake held Tama from behind for Johnny V. to slug with a roll of coins. Tama ducked at the last second and Brutus took the loaded punch on the jaw leading to the pinfall.
6. Blackjack Mulligan over Big John Studd (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by DQ at 14:40. Heenan ran into the ring to break up Mulligan's pin attempt after Blackjack caught Studd coming off the ropes with his Flying Back Elbow Smash. Referee Nick Kozak immediately called for the bell.
7. In the Main Event, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Randy "Macho Man" Savage were both counted out in OOR action at 19:16. Prior to the match, Piper was a guest on "Adorable" Adrian Adonis' "Flower Shop" segment and was hit from behind with a chair by the Macho Man. Piper was -250 points for this match.

2. "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich over "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Iron Mike Sharpe with the Tornado (Discus) Punch at 4:39.
3. "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) beat "Leaping" Lanny Poffo with the Piledriver at 2:21.
4. Mike Rotundo pinned Bret "The Hitman" Hart (w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) at 9:23. Bret turned his back on Rotundo to confer with Jimmy Hart in the corner. Rotundo seized the moment and hoisted The Hitman up onto his shoulders for the Airplane Spin and victory.
5. The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs w/ "The Doctor of Style" Slick) defeated the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques and Raymond) at 10:22. Jacques took a trip to Nastyville as Knobbs caught him with a Powerslam and then tagged in Saggs to finish things off with a Diving Splash off the top rope.
6. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat over The Honky Tonk Man (w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) by DQ at 13:16. With Steamboat poised on the top rope to deliver his patented Diving Cross Body onto a woozy HTM, Hercules Hernandez came out of nowhere and pushed The Dragon off. Steamboat took a bad tumble onto the concrete floor. Hercules then proceded to slap the Full Nelson onto Steamboat until the Texas Tornado and Mike Rotundo ran out to ringside to make the save.
7. In the Main Event, Hulk Hogan defeated Killer Khan (w/ Mr. Fuji) at 15:58 with the Running Leg Drop of Doom !! After the match, The Hulkster flexed his muscles and cupped his ear to thunderous cheers from the Pittsburgh faithful !!

3. The Iron Sheik (w/ Classy Freddie Blassie) over "Superfly" Sivi Afi with the Camel Clutch Submission at 2:43.
4. King Kong Bundy (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated George "The Animal" Steele with the Atlantic City (corner) Avalanche at 8:57. Bundy was content with the normal three count rather than insisting that the referee count to five.
5. Tito Santana and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (w/ Johnny V.) wrestled to a "No Contest". The bout was stopped at 11:43 after Referee Dave Hebner was sandwiched in between a Valentine/Santana mid-ring collision and was subsequently KO'd and stretchered out. Hebner was later replaced by Joey Marella for the balance of the card.
6. The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith w/ Matilda the mascot) and Demolition (Ax & Smash w/ Mr. Fuji) was ruled a Double Disqualification at 15:25. Fuji tried to steal the Bulldog's pooch from ringside which lead to an all-out brawl OOR involving all four wrestlers.
7. In the Main Event, The Ultimate Warrior defeated "Ravishing" Rick Rude (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) at 15:01 after Heenan tried to throw a handful of powder into the Warrior's face but accidently got Rude instead. Warrior then rolled up the blinded Rude for the winning pinfall.

1. Buddy Wolfe (w/ Suspicious Taped Thumb ) kicked things off in Austin with a victory of "Master of Savate" Peter Lee at 4:31. Buddy grabbed his opponent in a side headlock and jammed his taped thumb into Lee's throat to score the pinfall.
2. Vicki Williams defeated Toni Rose in a very close match at 6:15. Rose got a little careless once she had the upper hand and was caught off guard with a Backslide while showboating for the fans.
3. Bob Orton Jr. (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) won by count out over Mighty Igor Vodik at 9:03. Heenan pulled the top rope down causing Igor to topple out of the ring and crash awkwardly to the floor. Vodik could not recover in time to make Referee Pete Mymko's ten count.
4. AWA Tag Team Title Match. The challengers, Lord Alfred Hayes' Super Destroyers Mark II & III, were disqualified in their bid to defeat the High Flyers (Greg Gagne & "Jumping" Jim Brunzell) at 8:25. With his partner caught in Greg Gagne's Sleeper, Super Destroyer Mark II smashed a chair over Gagne's back to break the hold and draw the DQ. The High Flyers retain the tag team titles.
5. "Eighth Wonder of the World" Andre the Giant defeated Jesse "The Body" Ventura. Jesse was able to get Andre in a couple of pinning predicaments with the help of a hidden foreign object but "The Body" went down for the three count after receiving a Big Boot to the mush off the ropes at 10:22.
6. AWA World Title Match. Challenger Maddog Vachon was disqualified for running AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkle into the ring post during OOR action at 15:18. Bockwinkle was busted open and had to be helped to the back by his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan after the brutal bout. Nick Bockwinkle retains the AWA Title.
AWA Results (Circa Late 70's) - Carthage College Field House, Kenosha, WI. Att: 2,731.
Ring Announcer: Marty O'Neill
Referees: Joe Fiorino & Merv Unger
1. Evan Johnson over Ron Ritchie at 5:44. Johnson cradled his opponent in a Small Package when Ritchie ducked his head too soon on a Back Body Drop attempt off the ropes.
2. Larry "The Axe" Hennig had his problems with Jan Nelson but prevailed in the end. Nelson kept unwrapping tape from his wrist and choking out Hennig with it, but it was so insidiously done that Referee Merv Unger could not detect the infraction. The fans could spot it sure enough and would raise a commotion to alert Unger whenever the tape would come into play. Unger finally caught the mischief which proved to be Nelson's undoing. Hennig pinned his opponent in a Schoolboy Roll Up from behind while Nelson was arguing with Unger over the tape. The time of the fall was 7:04.
3. The ring was not big enough to contain Angelo Mosca and his opponent Rufus R. Jones who were both counted out by Referee Joe Fiorino at 8:30 as they took their battle to the floor and back up the aisle to the dressing room.
4. AWA Tag Team Title Match (Best 2 out of 3 Falls.) Things looked bleak for the defending champs, the High Flyers (Greg Gagne & "Jumping" Jim Brunzell) when their bitter rivals Ray "The Crippler" Stevens & Pat Patterson took the first fall at 7:21. With Referee Merv Unger sending Brunzell back to his corner, Stevens came off the top rope with a Double Axe Handle to Greg Gagne's back while the High Flyer had Patterson trapped in his Sleeper Hold. Stevens put his opponent on top of Gagne and Unger turned around to count the pin.
Fall 2 came just 35 seconds later when Gagne, perhaps playing possum on the canvas, cradled his opponent for the three count when Patterson bent over to pull him up by the hair. Fall 3 was decided by disqualification at the 15:26 mark. Stevens and Patterson combined to drop Jim Brunzell throat-first on the top rope. The "Crippler" made the cover and Brunzell barely managed to get a foot on the bottom rope before the three count. Thinking they had won the titles, Patterson and Stevens grabbed the tag belts and were in the process of strapping them around their waists when Merv Unger ordered the match to continue. Patterson blew a fuse and pushed the ref down to the mat to draw the DQ. The High Flyers retain the AWA Tag Team Titles.
5. The Crusher foiled Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's best intentions when he reversed a head smash to an exposed turnbuckle to pin Blackjack Lanza in the Main Event at 14:46. The sneaky Heenan had removed the padding while Joe Fiorino's attention was diverted to the action in the ring. Lanza spotted Heenan's nefarious handiwork and tried to run the Crusher's forehead into the exposed steel only to have the move reversed at the last second.

1. Young Dino Bravo from Montreal bested Blackie Guzman with his Airplane Spin at 3:45.
2. The East-West Connection ("Golden Boy" Adrian Adonis & Jesse "The Body" Ventura) over Dave Kochen and Puppy Dog Peloquin at 4:22. The Connection toyed with their opponents until Adonis ended things with his Goodnight Irene Sleeper Hold on Peloquin.
3. Frank Hill was giving the Super Destroyer Mark II (w/ Lord Alfred Hayes) all he could handle and even caught the snobbish Hayes up on the apron by his tuxedo lapels. Hill was about to let him have a haymaker when the Destroyer struck from behind with a Flying Knee Smash to the back. Hill went down like a ton bricks and the Destroyer made the cover for the three count at 6:26.
4. Bob Orton Jr. pinned "Polish Prince" Steve Olsonoski with help from his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan at 6:58. Steve O was in the process of Suplexing Orton back into the ring from the apron when Heenan pulled Olsonoski's foot out from under him. Orton fell on top of the Polish Prince and Heenan held onto Steve O's foot to assist the pin.
5. Billy Robinson over Moose Morowski by DQ for outside interference at 7:16. Robinson delivered a Piledriver and was covering Moose for the pin when Chris Markoff ran in with a Chair Shot to Robinson's back. The smug Lord Alfred Hayes then ambled down to ringside to watch Markoff and Morowski put a double team beatdown on Robinson. Hayes added insult to injury by entering the ring and slapping his fellow countryman across the face. Steve Olsonoski and Dino Bravo finally raced in to chase off the heels but the damage was done.
6. Verne Gagne defeated Big, Bad Bobby Duncum (w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) at 9:09. Heenan tossed some Brass Knucks into the ring for Duncum to use but overshot his reach. As Duncum bent over to retrieve the Knucks, he was caught by Verne in a Schoolboy Roll Up for the pinfall.

1. Evan Johnson defeated Buddy Wolfe (w/ Taped Thumb ) at 6:02. Wolfe telegraphed a Back Body Drop attempt and was cradled in a Small Package by Johnson for the pinfall.
2. Chris Markoff (w/ Snooty Lord Alfred Hayes) over "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay via DQ at 4:48. Kenny was disqualified by Referee Joe Fiorino when Billy Robinson raced into the ring and attacked Markoff during the match. Lord Alfred Hayes tried to sneak into the ring with a folding chair to lay out Robinson but was foiled by the Sodbuster who knocked the pompous manager off the apron.
3. Angelo "King Kong" Mosca was disqualified in his match with High Flyer "Jumping" Jim Brunzell at 8:55. Mosca employed a hidden foreign object throughout the contest but seemed on the verge of finally being caught when Referee Rod Luck demanded to examine his extremely effective right fist. Luck tried to pry Mosca's fingers open and was promptly thrown out of the ring. The dazed referee immediately called for the bell.
4. In a battle of the strongmen, Jesse "The Body" Ventura (w/ "Golden Boy" Adrian Adonis) defeated Mighty Igor Vodik at 11:16. With Referee Marty Miller knocked down to the mat, Ventura bounded off the ropes right into Igor's Polish Bear Hug. Jesse was fading fast in the vice-like grip until Adonis came off the top rope with a Double Axe Handle to Igor's back. Ventura threw an arm over Igor's chest as a woozy Marty Miller crawled over to make the three count.
5. Pat Patterson & Ray "The Crippler" Stevens over Mad Dog Vachon & Larry "The Axe" Hennig via Count Out at 14:32. It appeared as though both teams would be counted out in this one as all four men battled around ringside, however a haymaker from Hennig sent Ray Stevens toppling over the top rope and back into the ring from the apron just as Referee Joe Fiorino's count was reaching ten.
6. High Flyer Greg Gagne stunned AWA World Champion Nick Bockwinkel at 20:53 in a non-title match. A Drop Kick from Gagne sent the Champion crashing into his own manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan who was trying to pass a foreign object into the ring to Bockwinkel. The collision sent the Champ staggering backward right into a School Boy Roll Up from Gagne for the three count. Bockwinkel sat up on his knees in disbelief as the Palmer Auditorium erupted in cheers. Many fans believed that Gagne had won the World Championship until Marty O'Neill reminded them that it was a non-title event. There was more than a smattering off boos when Referee Rod Luck handed the AWA Title Belt back to Bockwinkel after the bout.

3. Don Muraco beat Raul Mata at 8:49 in his Florida debut. Muraco built up serious heel heat with the fans as he pulled Mata's head up on several two count before finally ended things with a Figure Four Leglock.
4. Tag Team Tournament Match. The team of Mr. Sato & Mr. Saito eliminated the Assassins (I & II) at 9:08. Sato & Saito combined for a double team Hotshot on Assassin II behind the referee's back as Bill Alphonso was sending Assassin I back to his corner.
5. Ron Slinker (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) over Rocky Johnson at 10:30. Slinker appeared to become unhinged and unleashed a berserk karate attack on Johnson. He pinned Rocky after a vicious Double Karate Thrust to the throat that left Johnson gasping for breath.
6. In the Main Event, Florida Champion "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and Jack Brisco defeated Lars Anderson & Killer Karl Kox at 9:02. Dusty pinned Kox after the Killer missed a high risk leap off the top rope and found nothing but canvas. Don Muraco had joined the announcers' table to provide guest commentary for the match. He constantly ridiculed Jack Brisco during the bout and labeled the Brisco Brothers as being "over rated". After the bout, Jack confronted Muraco and offered a handshake to settle their differences but Muraco would have none of it. He threw down his headset and stormed off.

3. Thunderbolt Patterson over Thor the Viking (w/ the devious Sonny King) by DQ at 7:14. Thor was caught punching Thunderbolt with Brass Knuckles that were slipped to him during the match by Sonny King. Referee Buddy Colt immediately called for the bell.
4. Tag Team Tournament Match. Nothing was settled between the Spoilers (I & II) and Sonny King's Family (King Curtis Iaukea & "Lumberjack" Jos LeDuc) when Spoiler II and Jos LeDuc were both counted by Referee Buddy Colt at 10:06 as they slugged it out on the floor. The Spoilers were the fan favorites in this match.
5. Ox Baker defeated Ray Candy by Count Out at 11:33. With Referee Scrappy McGowan knocked down in the action, Ox Baker smashed Ray across the back with a fire extinguisher as they battled on the floor. McGowan recovered to put the ten count on Candy.
6. Florida Champion "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes beat Pak Song (w/ Sonny King) in a Non-Title Match. "The Dream" pinned Song with a Piledriver at 11:26.

3. Don Muraco made Sweet Brown Sugar submit to his Figure Four Leglock at 9:22. After the bout, Muraco continued to apply the pressure until Jack Brisco ran into the ring to break the hold. Muraco pointed a menacing finger at Brisco as the two former friends had some choice words for one another.
4. Rocky Johnson defeated the Beautiful Beauregarde (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) with a High Flying Drop Kick to the chops off the ropes at 9:12. After the bout, Humperdink ran into the ring and also received a Drop Kick from Johnson for his trouble.
5. Ox Baker pulled a hidden foreign object from his tights to KO Jerry Brisco for the winning pinfall at 8:55. After the bout, Jack Brisco ran into the ring to attend to his brother. Jack was berating Referee Bill Alphonso for missing the loaded punch when he was suddenly blindsided by a berserk Don Muraco. Both Muraco and Baker put the boots to the Briscos until Steve Keirn and Mike Graham made the save.
6. In the Main Event, "Killer" Karl Kox & Lars Anderson (w/ mysterious sack of coins) over Steve Keirn & Mike Graham by Count Out at 11:43. Kox tossed Mike Graham out of the ring and distracted Referee Bill Alphonso while his partner Lars Anderson smashed Graham in the head with the money bag. Graham was out cold on the floor as Alphonso put the ten count on him.

3. Paul Ellering defeated Siegfried Stanke (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) with a Backbreaker at 7:48.
4. Lars Anderson (w/ Sack of Coins & Killer Karl Kox) over Mike Graham (w/ father Eddie Graham) at 10:28. Referee Scrappy McGowan had his hands full in this contest. Kox tried to sneak into the ring to interfere, but he was intercepted by Eddie Graham before he could do any damage. With McGowan trying to break up a brawl between the two, Lars clobbered Mike Graham with the mysterious money bag behind the ref's back. McGowan turned around just in time to count the pinfall for Anderson.
5. Tag Team Tournament Finals. For the second time in a month, the Spoilers (I & II) and Sonny King's Family (King Curtis Iaukea & "Lumberjack" Jos LeDuc) were both Counted Out in a wild brawl around ringside at 11:53. A return match has been ordered inside a steel cage next week to decide the Florida Tag Team Championship.
6. Bugsy McGraw (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) defeated Jack Brisco at 13:21. Brisco was in no condition to wrestle after being brutally assaulted by former friend Don Muraco during a prematch interview with Gordon Solie. Muraco attacked with a chair shot from behind and then went to work on Brisco's knee before help finally arrived from the back. Despite his injuries (and -250 points), Brisco insisted on going through with the match so as not to disappoint the fans. Jack noticably limped throughout the contest as McGraw continued to work on his gimpy knee. Brisco tried to lift his opponent up for a body slam but his knee gave out causing McGraw to fall on top of him for the winning pinfall.

3. "Timekeeper" Mike George defeated "Jumping" Joe Savoldi at 5:25. With Referee Tommy Gilbert down, George bashed Savoldi in the head with his huge stopwatch and busted him open. When Tommy Gilbert came to, he immediately called for the bell and ruled that "Jumping" Joe was too bloody to continue. George was awared the tainted victory. (Note: Prior to the bout, George had predicted that he would defeat Savoldi in "7 minutes or less". His stopwatch insured that his prediction would come true.)
Interview: Jim Ross & Magnum T.A.
Ross: "Magnum, the problems with youngster Shane Douglas and Hyatt & Hotstuff International have been well documented over the past several weeks. This feud finally seems to be coming to a head now.
Magnum: "That's right, Jim. There's been a lot of bad blood between these two. Shane Douglas and Eddie Gilbert have both agreed to settle their differences inside a Steel Cage."
Ross: "Fans, you'll recall that the feud began in a so-called "rookie hazing ritual" that took place in Kansas City when youngster Shane Douglas was brutally beaten backstage by the members of Hyatt & Hotstuff International. Fines were levied by Commissioner John Ayres and the ring leader of the assault, "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert, was subsequently suspended. Since then, Douglas has been a thorn in the side of Hyatt & Hotstuff International and has been interferring in their matches on a frequent basis. Just last week Douglas hit Eddie Gilbert over the head with a chair and cost him a match against Porkchop Cash. I guess the big question here, Magnum, is whether or not Douglas is ready for a Steel Cage Match ?"
Magnum: "Jim, to the best of my knowledge he's never been in one so Gilbert will have an edge as far as experience goes, but Douglas will make up for it in desire and determination. Revenge is going to be a strong factor in this match."
Ross: "Alright Magnum, let's bring in the "First Couple of Professional Wrestling" Missy Hyatt and "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert to get their take on this important upcoming match."
(Missy Hyatt walks out alone. She is looking in her compact mirror and fussing with her hair.)
Ross: "Uh, is your beau going to be joining us or not, Missy Hyatt ??"
Hyatt: "I'll have you know that Eddie is socializing with high society tonight, Jim Ross. He's the guest of honor at an important banquet with quality people, not like these redneck heathens here in Fort Worth."
Ross: "So he doesn't care about this upcoming Steel Cage match with Shane Douglas then ?"
Hyatt: (Rolls her eyes). "Oh please. My Eddie will teach that little boy a lesson that he'll never forget. He doesn't have time for your silly questions, Jim Ross, and neither do I. I've got to get to the ring for Sting. Ta ta !"
Ross: "Let's bring in Shane Douglas now, fans. Shane, you've got a tremendous opportunity here to get some payback on "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert."
Douglas: "Eddie Gilbert, you send your tramp out here to make excuses for why you can't be here tonight. You go have yourself a good time with your rich friends, Eddie. In the meantime, I'll be working my butt off in the gym thinking about my Steel Cage Match with you. You tried to put me out of wrestling before my career ever got started. Well, I'm gonna put a hurtin' on you something fierce. You picked on the wrong guy, Gilbert, and you're gonna regret it very, very soon."
Ross: "A determined Shane Douglas, fans. Let's get back up to the ring for our next contest."
4. Sting (w/ Missy Hyatt) pinned the Missing Link (w/ Sunshine) at 6:20 after Missy Hyatt slugged the Link from behind with her loaded Gucci handbag. After the match, an irate Sunshine tried to pry the purse away from her but Hyatt pushed her down and fled backstage with Sting.
5. The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael P.S. Hayes & Buddy Roberts w/ Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy) over the Jive Tones (Tiger Conway Jr. & Shaska Whatley w/ Dark Journey) at 5:00. With Dark Journey distracting the referee, Conway held Roberts from behind for Whatley to hit with one of the Jive Tone's canes, but Roberts ducked out of the way at the last second and Whatley KO'd his own partner with the cane instead leading to the pinfall.
6. "Unpredictable" Dick Slater (w/ Dark Journey) defeated "Gentleman" Chris Adams (w/ Sunshine) at 13:16. Dark Journey tripped Adams coming off the ropes and Slater finished him off with a Knee Drop for the pin. Prior to the match, Slater stared menacingly at Ring Announcer Reeser Bowden and made sure that he wasn't introduced as "Dirty" Dick Slater.
7. Steel Cage Match. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan defeated "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer at 15:53. Duggan was able to escape first after catapulting Sawyer face-first into the cage wall.

1. The Angel of Death (w/ Sunshine) beat Mike "Hammer" Reed with the Death Wish (Diving Clothesline off the 2nd Rope) at 3:52.
2. Black Bart (w/ Downtown Bruno) over Brett Sawyer at 5:11. Downtown Bruno hit Sawyer from behind with Bart's branding iron while the referee was being distracted.
3. Iceman King Parsons (w/ Dark Journey) pinned Brickhouse Brown with both feet on the ropes for leverage at 7:30.
4. Terry Taylor (w/ Sunshine) defeated "Hollywood" John Tatum (w/ Missy Hyatt) by DQ at 3:51. Tatum connected with his California Superkick finisher on Taylor but only got a two count on the attempted pin. Tatum accused Referee Carl Fergie of a slow count and pushed him down to the mat. Fergie immediately called for the bell.
5. The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & "White Lightning" Tim Hoerner) beat the Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu w/ General Skandor Akbar) at 5:47. Akbar attempted to throw a fireball at Armstrong but ended up blinding Samu with it instead leading to the pinfall.
6. Steel Cage Match. "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert (w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated Shane Douglas at 12:24. Douglas dominated the match and battered Gilbert throughout. With "Hot Stuff" down and seemingly out, Douglas attempted to climb out to victory but Missy Hyatt shook the cage wall causing Shane to lose his grip and fall back to the canvas. Gilbert then recovered and brutally ran Douglas face-first into the cage several times before escaping through the door. Both men were a bloody mess and Gilbert had to be helped back to the dressing room by a very concerned Missy Hyatt.
7. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams pinned Bad Leroy Brown (w/ General Skandor Akbar) with an inside cradle on the big man at 14:52. After the bout, Akbar sent the SST into the ring to beatdown Williams. Ted Dibiase made the save and held Williams arm up in victory. Loud pop from the Tulsa fans for both Dibiase and hometown hero Dr. Death !!

2. "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord pinned Vladimir Petrov (w/ Downtown Bruno) with an Inside Cradle at 5:01.
3. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel (w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated Art Crews at 4:59.
Here's the call :
Ross: "Missy Hyatt's pounding on the canvas and shouting encouragement to Buddy Landel with that irritating voice of hers. Here comes "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert down to ringside, Magnum, and it looks like he's got a bouquet of roses and big box of candy for Missy."
Magnum: "Well, it is Valentine's Day after all, Jim."
Ross: "And there's a big hug and a kiss for Eddie. I tell you, fans, they don't call these two the "First Couple of Professional Wrestling" for nothing.
Magnum: "Missy Hyatt's prancing around ringside with her flowers and candy like she's the Belle of the Ball."
Ross: "Gilbert's up on the apron jawing with Referee Ronnie West. Crews has Landel rolled up !! Crews has him rolled up and the referee doesn't see it !!! Missy Hyatt's in the ring now.... and she hits Crews over the head with the box of candy !!! What the hell is going on here ???"
Magnum: "Crews is out like a light, Jim !!"
Ross: "1... 2.... 3 !!! That's all she wrote for Art Crews !! What in the world was in that damn box ??"
Magnum: "It sure wasn't chocolates, Jim, I can tell you that !!"
Ross: "Hyatt & Hot Stuff International are victorious once again. Missy Hyatt sniffing her flowers like Little Miss Innocent as they leave ringside. We're going to need some help in here to revive Art Crews !!"
4. Sam Houston and "Gorgeous Rookie" Gary Young (w/ Downtown Bruno) were both disqualified at 6:12. Both men hit each other with chairs OOR. Downtown Bruno also took a chair shot from Houston as he fled backstage.
Interview: Jim Ross and the Fabulous Freebirds Michael P.S. Hayes, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy and Buddy Roberts.
Ross: "Alright, ladies and gentlemen, I'm being joined now by the Fabulous Freebirds. Michael P.S. Hayes, I understand the Freebirds are in the market for a manager ? Is that right ?"
Hayes: "You know, Jim Ross, the Freebirds are interested in one thing - kicking butt and taking care of business in the ring. We need someone to file the paperwork and answer the phones and all that kind of stuff 'cos we don't have time for that."
Ross: "Did you have anyone specific in mind ?"
Hayes: "Well, we've had our eye on Sunshine for quite some time, Jim Ross."
(Gordy and Roberts snicker and nod.)
Ross: "Alright, let's bring her out here then and see what Sunshine has to say about it."
(Sunshine comes out and the Freebirds ogle her up and down and talk amongst themselves.)
Ross: "Sunshine, the Fabulous Freebirds have a proposition for you."
Hayes: "That's right, pretty lady. The boys and I are looking for a manager and you're tops on our list."
Sunshine: "Uh, well, I'm very flattered, Michael, but I don't think so. I already manage a great Tag Team in "Gentleman" Chris Adams and Terry Taylor."
Hayes: "Now hang on there, Baby, how about you come up to my hotel room tonight and let me look over your credentials before you give me your answer ?"
(Gordy and Roberts snicker again.)
Sunshine: "I'll give you my answer right now..."
(Sunshine hauls off and slaps Hayes across the face. Hayes goes down like a ton of bricks to a huge cheer from the fans !! She walks off as the Freebirds go berserk !!)
5. The scheduled Tag Team match between Sunshine's Dynamic Duo ("Gentleman" Chris Adams & Terry Taylor) and the Rock & Roll RPMs ("Maniac" Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) never took place. Adams and Taylor were jumped backstage by the Freebirds. Terry Gordy gave Chris Adams a Bulldog onto the concrete floor while Hayes and Roberts combined for a Spiked Pile Driver on Terry Taylor.
6. Savannah Jack and the "Ugandan Giant" Kamala (w/ General Skandor Akbar) was ruled a No Contest. Akbar threw a fireball in Savannah Jack's face prior to the bell. Jack had to be helped backstage with a cold compress over his eyes.
7. In the Main Event, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy were both disqualified at 18:42 in a wild brawl OOR that included Chris Adams, Terry Taylor, Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts.

1. "Wildman" Mike Boyette upset the Missing Link (w/Sunshine) at 5:00. General Skandor Akbar and "Ugandan Giant" Kamala came down to ringside mid match and began jawing with Sunshine and the Missing Link. With Kamala distracting Referee Edward Faulk, Akbar snuck into the ring, reversed Link's Rolling Cradle and put Boyette on top for the pin.
2. "Timekeeper" Mike George defeated Rick Gibson at 2:30. Prior to the match, George had predicted that he would win in under 5 minutes. Downtown Bruno came down to ringside and slid a chair into the ring which went undetected by the referee. George took advantage and DDT'd Gibson onto the chair for the pin. Mike George continues to be undefeated thus far in the UWF. Could there be an alliance forming between Downtown Bruno and George ? Both men refuse to comment on the situation.
3. Dick Murdoch (w/ General Skandor Akbar) pinned Chavo Guerrero after his Delayed Brainbuster finisher at 6:34.
4. "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater (w/ Dark Journey) beat "Birdman" Koko B. Ware with a Piledriver at 7:01.
5. Hyatt & Hotstuff International (Sting & Rick Steiner w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated the Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) via Count Out at 9:09. Fed up with Missy Hyatt's constant interference, Bobby Fulton chased her around the ring and down the aisle toward the dressing room. He could not make it back to the ring in time to beat Referee Edward Faulk's ten count.
6. Butch Reed over "The Louisville Slugger" Big Bubba Rogers (w/ Jim Cornette) by DQ at 11:32 after Bubba threw Reed over the top rope and to the concrete floor.
7. In the Main Event, Ted Dibiase defeated "Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert (w/ Missy Hyatt) at 13:12. Missy accidently blinded Gilbert with a handful of powder to the face. Eddie stumbled right into Dibiase's Powerslam finisher for the winning pinfall.
