1. The East Coast crowd was indifferent toward "California Kid" Tommy Jammer but that did not deter the youngster from an impressive victory over veteran Dennis Stamp. Jammer was able to reverse a Backslide attempt by his opponent and hold Stamp's shoulders down on the mat just long enough for the three count at 4:48.
2. This was not pretty. Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee unleashed Bruiser Brody upon both the Tropicana and opponent Jesse Hernandez. Brody ran amok around ringside throwing chairs and knocking over the barricade railing all the while shouting his familiar "Huss ! Huss !" Jesse Hernandez was probably hoping that Brody would get himself counted out but it was not to be. Once back in the ring, Brody pulverized Hernandez in short order. A Running Boot to the head was followed by a crushing Piledriver for the pinfall at 3:20. Your winner: the wild and crazy Bruiser Brody.
3. Even the entertaining "Playboy" Buddy Rose's antics at ringside could not overshadow a terrific ladies' match pitting Candi Devine against "Sensational" Sherri Martel. Lots of twists and turns and near pinfalls in this bout. Rose attempted to reach in and trip Candi but was unsuccessful. His actions, nevertheless, drew Devine's attention long enough for Martel to sneak up from behind and surprise her opponent with roll up for the three count at 7:56.
4. He may not be "Canada's Greatest Athlete" as announced by Al DeRusha, but Nick Kiniski was good enought to beat "Top Gun" John Paul Demann. Kiniski was able to roll through on his opponent's Diving Cross Body Press from the top rope and grabbed a handful of tights to pin Demann at 7:03.
5. "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell lived up to his name by using his massive frame to defeat "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers at 8:19. Somers got some help from Buddy Rose who returned to ringside to be in his tag team partner's corner. The "Playboy" was able to sneak in a couple of cheap shots behind Referee Scott Ledoux's back, but he was eventually sent flying off the apron by a Standing Drop Kick from big Jerry. Somers was then scooped up and given a ring-shaking running Powerslam by Blackwell for the three count.
6. The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & "Sweet" Stan Lane) made a rather flamboyant entrance to earn themselves some extra points enroute to victory over Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee's Army of Boris Zhukov & Nord the Barbarian. The shady Sheik got in his licks but an errant smash to Zhukov's noggin with his sheathed Arabian sword proved to be the beginning of the end for his team. The dazed Russian was then hit with a Double Russian Leg Sweep by the Fabs for the winning pinfall at 10:32.

The program begins with a promo from RAW GM Eric Bischoff & Three Minute Warning (Rosey & Jamal). Bischoff explains that WWE Owner Mr. McMahon was very upset with "the lack of passion" that Raw wrestlers brought to lask week's card in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are shown a clip of Mr. McMahon appearing on the Titantron and scolding The Rock & Big Show during the Main Event. McMahon wants to see some fire. McMahon wants to see some passion. McMahon wants to see some "Ruthless Aggression" dammit !! Bischoff says his job is on the line. He says if he sees any wrestlers dogging it out there tonight that there's going to be hell to pay. Bischoff stalks off and we're left with the two intimidating Samoan brutes Rosey & Jamal sneering into the camera menacingly.
1. Terri Runnels & Stacy Kiebler were both Counted Out in a brawl that took both girls back into the Ladies Locker Room at 9:47. We see Torrie Wilson and Victoria in their underwear screaming and running for cover as the camera crew bursts in to follow the action.
2. Spike Dudley over Tajiri (w/ Geisha Torrie Wilson) by DQ at 8:54. Referee Chad Patton caught Tajiri spraying the mysterious Green Mist into Spike's eyes. Patton also caught some in his face and immediately signaled for the bell.
3. The bout between Tommy Dreamer and Shawn Stasiak was ruled a No Contest at 7:32 by Referee Charles Robinson when Bischoff sent Three Minute Warning into the ring to lay waste to both wrestlers. Rosey gave Tommy Dreamer a Samoan Drop and Jamal flattened Stasiak with a Diving Splash off the top rope. Bischoff appeared on the ramp with a mic minutes later.
Bischoff: "You know, some people just have to learn the hard way. Dreamer.... Stasiak... I see arm bars out there.... I see wristlocks out there... I see side headlocks.... what part of "Ruthless Aggression" don't you understand ?? If you two clowns ever want to set foot into my ring again you better bring some passion next time or else."
4. Tag Match. Al Snow & Maven and Christopher Nowinski & Steven Richards (w/ Victoria) were both DQ'd at 6:10. All four men battered each other with whatever objects they could find around ringside. Referee Nick Patrick seen enough and signaled for the bell. The camera cuts to backstage where Bischoff is watching the match on a monitor and smiling approvingly. "Now that's what I'm talking about !" he says.
5. Goldust defeated Batista at 11:34. Batista was distracted by Three Minute Warning's presence at ringside and got rolled up from behind by Goldust for the pin.
6. "The American Badass" Undertaker over Bradshaw under dubious circumstances at 10:49. With Referee Charles Robinson down and Undertaker cradled in a Small Package, Bubba Ray Dudley suddenly ran into the ring and reversed the cradle putting Undertaker on top. Robinson recovered to count the pin. Bubba Ray shouted "that's for last week you, $@&#$ !!" We're shown a clip of the 6 Man Tag Match with the A.P.A. & Godfather defeating the Dudleys (Bubba, D-Von & Spike) last week when Bradshaw almost took Spike's head off with the Clothesline from hell. A fuming Bubba Ray stormed past Bischoff who nodded and gave him a thumbs up.
7. In the Main Event, HBK Shawn Michaels defeated the "Cerebral Assassin" Triple H at 17:24. Helmsley tried to Suplex HBK back into the ring from the apron but Michaels grabbed the top rope on the way over and fell on top for the winning pinfall. After the bout, a bitter Helmsley tried to bash Michaels with a chair shot from behind but HBK kicked the chair into his face with the Sweet Chin Music. Bischoff's voice came over the PA System and said, "Now that's Ruthless Aggression, People !!"

1. Ivory and Dawn Marie wrestled to a No Contest when both ladies were KO'd during a collision off the ropes in the center of the ring at 4:22. Neither could get to their feet by Referee Tim White's ten count.
2. Billy Kidman over Nunzio (w/ Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli) at 4:54. Johnny accidently slugged his F.B.I. partner with a Blackjack. Kidman then cradled the dizzy Nunzio in a Small Package for the pin.
3. "Redd Dogg" Rodney Mack (w/ Theodore Long) defeated "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry via Count Out at 8:08. Henry got fed up with Long's constant interference and chased him back to the dressing room resulting in the count out.
4. The Basham Brothers (Doug & Danny w/ Shaniqua) over the Hurricane & Shannon Moore at 6:29. Moore was distracted by Shaniqua and got rolled up from behind with a handful of tights by Danny for the pin.
5. The match between Lance Storm and Rey Mysterio Jr. never took place as Rey was jumped backstage prior to the bout by both members of the Un-Americans (Storm & Christian). Mysterio took repeated Canadian Flag shots from Storm until Edge made the save.
6. "Rabid Wolverine" Chris Benoit defeated Rikishi at 7:31 after a run-in by B2 (Bull Buchanan). With Referee Brian Hebner down, Rikishi was about to deliver the Stink Face to Benoit in the corner when Buchanan suddenly raced into the ring and delivered a Scissors Kick. Benoit made the cover and Hebner crawled over to count the pin.
7. Steel Cage Main Event. Kane over "The Texas Rattlesnake" Stone Cold Steve Austin at 17:26. With Austin staggering around the ring blinded by his own blood, Kane flew off the top with a Diving Clothesline that nearly took the "Texas Rattlesnake" out of his boots. Kane then climbed out of the cage to victory.

2. Victoria (w/ Steven Richards) over Lita at 3:22. Richards was a nuisance and major distraction at ringside. Victoria capitalized by catching Lita off guard with the Widow's Peak (Gory Neckbraker) for the pin.
3. Al Snow defeated Raven with the Snow Plow (Scoop Brainbuster) at 7:08.
4. The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy) over Three Minute Warning (Rosey & Jamal) at 7:59. Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb (Top Rope Senton Splash) on Jamal for the pin.
5. The Godfather (w/ several of his "Hos" ) defeated Lord William Regal at 8:42. Regal stood in the corner for several minutes and refused to wrestle until Referee Chad Patton dismissed all of the Godfather's "strumpets" from ringside. Patton refused and threatened to award the match to the Godfather if Regal didn't wrestle. Regal relented and wrestled the match "under protest". The "ladies of the evening" continuously teased and propositioned the uptight Regal, strutting their stuff at ringside with offers of "a night of fun" after the bout. Blueblood Regal had enough, stuck up his nose in disgust and returned to the locker room for the intentional Count Out.
6. Booker T pinned Test (w/ Stacy Kiebler) at 11:58. Booker hit the Bookend followed by a spinarooni and finally finished Test off with a Scissors Kick for the pin.
7. In the Main Event, The Rock with Special Mystery Tag Partner Goldberg defeated Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at 15:00. With Rock keeping Nash at bay, Goldberg flattened Hall with a Spear in the corner and then scooped him up and pinned him with the Jackhammer.

1. Akio defeated Nunzio (w/ Johnny the Bull Stamboli) with help from the Hollys at 5:39. Hardcore & Crash Holly came down to ringside and immediately got into it with Johnny the Bull. With Hardcore Holly keeping Stamboli at bay, Crash snuck into the ring and reversed Nunzio's cradle on Akio. Referee Brian Hebner turned around just in time to count the pin.
2. Jazz (w/ Theodore Long) pinned Molly with a Fisherman's Buster at 9:02.
3. Sean O'Haire (w/ Rowdy Roddy Piper) over Eugene Dinsmore at 6:44. Rowdy Roddy distracted the dim witted Eugene just long enough for O'Haire to hit the Cruel Intentions (Reverse Death Valley Driver).
4. Chavo Guerrero Jr. (w/ Uncle Eddie Guerrero) and the Ultimo Dragon were both DQ'd at 6:40 in a brawl around ringside.
5. Perry Saturn over John Cena (w/ B2 Bull Buchanan) via DQ at 7:13. Buchanan ran into the ring to break up Perry Saturn's Rings of Saturn (Grounded Arm Hook Sleeperhold) submission hold just as Cena was about to tap out. Referee Mike Sparks immediately signaled for the bell.
6. The Un-Americans (Christian & Lance Storm) defeated Edge & Rey Mysterio Jr. at 10:40. Christian with the Unprettier (Inverted Double Underhook Behind the Back Facebuster) on Mysterio for the pinfall.
7. In the Main Event, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry over "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) at 18:10. Henry shocked both Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman by pinning Brock with his own finisher, the F5 (Spin Out Fireman's Carry Facebuster).

1. Crowbar defeated Bobby Blaze in the opening contest at 6:53. Blaze was able to thwart a pre-match sneak attack during Dave Penzer’s match introductions to gain the advantage in the early going. His cause was further bolstered by the appearance of Fit Finlay at ringside. The Belfast Bruiser was carrying both a grudge and the scars from David Flair & Crowbar’s backstage assault on him last week in Knoxville. Crowbar may have been looking over his shoulder throughout the match, but he persevered in the end with his Mind Bender finisher (Sit Out Inverted Suplex Slam). Fearing retribution from Finlay, Crowbar quickly bailed from the ring was long gone before Referee Nick Patrick even had the opportunity to raise his hand for the victory.
2. Unhappy with the crowd’s rather cold reception during his entrance, Glacier showed his contempt by tearing up a spectator’s poster as he made his way to the ring to take on Prince Iaukea. This made his defeat all the sweeter for the fans. Iaukea managed to flip out of an Atomic Knee Drop attempt and pinned Glacier with a roll up from behind at 6:39.
3.”The Laughing Man” Hugh Morrus sustained 250 points worth of damage during a pre-match interview with Tony Schiavone courtesy of a chair shot to the noggin from his opponent The Wall. Morrus never seemed to get himself on track for their Hardcore Match and was pinned after a Chokeslam through a table at 8:18.
4. Earnest “The Cat” Miller (w/ Red Slippers & Manager Sonny Onoo) over Kanyon at 7:23. As always, Kanyon grabbed the house mic and shouted, “Who’s better than Kanyon ??” to which the crowd shouted back, “Everyone !!” The story of this match was the devious Sonny Onoo who interfered quite liberally in the proceedings. So much so that Kanyon lost his composure and chased him all the way back to the dressing room. Referee Nick Patrick’s ten count had long run out before Kanyon made his way back to ringside. The time of the match was 7:23.
5. The n.W.o.’s Syxx-Pac (X-Pac) defeated Billy Kidman in extremely dubious fashion. Kidman was awarded the decision by Referee Mickey Jay after Syxx appeared to have pinned himself with a Bridging Belly to Back Suplex, however WCW Senior Offical (and n.W.o. lackey) Nick Patrick ran into the ring and reversed the decision. After watching a replay of the pin on a monitor in the back, Patrick corrected Mickey Jay by insisting that Kidman’s shoulders were in fact down for the three count. The ring was littered with debris from the unruly fans but Patrick’s decision stood.
6. The team of ”Crippler” Chris Benoit & “Iceman” Dean Malenko defeated the Harris Brothers (Ron & Don) by DQ at 9:17. Giving up a ton in size, Malenko and Benoit used their speed and technical prowess to wrestle circles around their lumbering opponents. Things only went from bad to worse for the Harris Brothers when Ron became caught in Benoit’s Crippler Crossface while brother Don was simultaneously trapped in Malenko’s Texas Cloverleaf. Don slugged Referee Billy Silverman to save himself from the submission and draw the disqualification.
7. In the Main Event, “The Total Package” Lex Luger (w/ Liz in his corner) held off his challenger Sting (w/ White & Black Crow Face Paint and Trusty Baseball Bat) to successfully defend the WCW United States Championship. Though quiet and apathetic for much of the contest, Liz sprang into action once the action moved to the floor. She snuck Sting’s baseball bat to Luger and then commanded Referee Mickey Jay’s attention while the champion bashed his opponent over the back with the weapon. Sting could not recover from the blow in time and was counted out by the official at 16:22.

1. “Squire” Dave Taylor defeated “Ragin’ Cajun” Lash Leroux in our opener at 9:42. Lash immediately won the fans over by grabbing the house mic and complimenting the city of Birmingham after Dave Penzer’s match introductions. Victory seemed imminent after the Ragin’ Cajun hit the Whiplash (Sit Out Death Valley Driver), but Taylor managed to get a foot on the bottom rope to spoil the pin. With time rapidly running out, Leroux was redirected into the ring post on an ill-advised charge OOR and failed to make Referee Charles Robinson’s ten count.
2. Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Psicosis fought to a Double Count Out at 5:51. There was bad blood in this electrifying cruiser weight contest after Chavito tried to unmask his luchador opponent following a Tornado DDT. Psicosis did not take kindly to the attempt and tossed Guerrero through the ropes and crashing hard to the floor below. Chavo was greeted with a Baseball Slide Drop Kick to the mush upon trying to re-enter the ring. He did have the presence of mind to pull Psicosis outside with him. The two battled back up the aisle and toward the dressing room as Referee Mark Curtis’ ten count ran out.
3. Disco Inferno is one of those characters that the fans love to hate. Prancing down the aisle like John Travolta to the Bee Gee’s “Stayin’ Alive”, Disco was bonked over the head with a sign from a rabid fan and earned himself a bunch of bonus points in the process. Those points may have come in mighty handy against “Thunderfoot” Jerry Flynn, but they did not translate to a victory. Disco became increasingly frustrated with Flynn’s karate kicks and martial arts nerve holds and tossed his adversary over the top rope to draw the DQ from Referee Scott Dickinson at 9:57.
4. The Mamalukes (Big Vito & Johnny “The Bull” Stamboli) beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge & “Flyboy” Rocco Rock) at 7:59. This might as well have been a Hardcore tag match with all the objects and rule breaking that came into play. Knowing the nature of both teams, Referee Charles Robinson allowed A LOT of leeway to decide a winner. Ringing chair shots, slams through tables and dirty double teams were the order of the day. When the smoke finally cleared, the Mamalukes’ hands were raised in victory following a Double DDT on Johnny Grunge .
5. Konnan made a big entrance and energized the crowd with his catchphrases, some of which were in Spanish. His opponent this evening was Meng who was accompanied to the ring by his Faces of Fear partner the Barbarian as well as manager Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart. Things took a turn for the worse for Meng when he telegraphed a Back Body Drop attempt and was driven into the mat with a Sit Out Facebuster. Konnan quickly followed up with a Rolling Clothesline and then motioned to the crowd that it was time for the Tequila Sunrise. He never had a chance to apply his trademark leglock submission, however. The Barbarian smashed Konnan in the head with Jimmy Hart’s megaphone to draw the disqualification from Referee Mark Curtis at 7:36.
6. “The Chosen One” Jeff Jarrett has been in search of bodyguards to watch his back as of late and showed up this evening with the Harris Brothers in his corner to take on Harlem Heat’s Booker T. Ron and Don Harris’ presence was initially an advantage for Jarrett, but things would take an interesting turn as the match progressed. With Referee Scott Dickinson spilled to the canvas, Jarrett demanded that Don Harris hand him his trademark acoustic guitar to use on Booker. Don gave it to him alright – as in an El Kabong smash over the noggin ! Dickinson shook out the cobwebs to find Booker making the cover on the KO’d Jarrett and counted the pin at 12:55.
7. The n.W.o.’s Scott Hall beat Goldberg in the Main Event with a little chicanery from “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash. Goldberg has been on a vendetta against the n.W.o. ever since dropping the WCW World Championship to Hollywood Hogan. He has vowed to go through every member of the outlaw stable until he receives a rematch to regain the title. It looked like Goldberg had this one in the bag after he flattened Hall with the Jackhammer (Suplex Slam), but a roll on the Unusual Result chart would change everything. Kevin Nash reached in and patted Goldberg on the shoulder during the subsequent pin attempt. Thinking it was Referee Charles Robinson notifying him of a successful pin, Goldberg jumped up and celebrated his victory prematurely. One could imagine Goldberg’s reaction when the dumbfounded Robinson informed him that it was only a two count. Goldberg was arguing vehemently with the official when Hall rolled him up from behind for the winning pinfall.

1. ”Screamin” Norman Smiley thought that he had himself a victory over Evan Karagias in our opening contest but it was not to be. Referee Slick Johnson was admonishing Evan’s “Three Count” buddies “Sugar” Shane Helms & Shannon Moore to stay out of the match when he was toppled to the canvas by Karagias who was sent flying into him by a Smiley Drop Kick. While the dazed official was shaking out the cobwebs, Smiley locked in his Norman Conquest (Crossface) and induced a submission from Karagais. Johnson finally came to and called for the bell prompting a jubilant celebration from Smiley. Not knowing which grappler knocked him over, Johnson had, in fact, disqualified both men at 9:04.
2. “Belfast Bruiser” David “Fit” Finlay joined forces with Brian Knobbs to take on David Flair and Crowbar in a tag team contest. This time it was Referee Johnny Boone who took a bump in the ring. The official was sent crashing to the mat after being caught up in a collision between Finlay and Crowbar. The Belfast Bruiser was in the process of trying to help Boone get back to his feet when he was clubbed from behind with a tire iron by David Flair. While Knobbs was disposing of Flair, Crowbar managed to crawl on top of the KO’d Finlay with a woozy Johnny Boone counting the 1-2-3 at 6:40.
3. Looking to gain admittance into the n.W.o., Hollywood Hogan’s nephew Horace did himself no favors in furthering the cause after being defeated by “The Laughing Man” Hugh Morrus tonight. Hogan started off well enough with some power moves and brawling, but was caught from behind in a School Boy Roll Up by Morrus while showboating for the fans. The time of the fall was 8:35.
4. A terrific cruiserweight match between Billy Kidman and Ultimo Dragon was spoiled by a n.W.o. run-in. Snubbed by Kidman’s valet Torrie Wilson with a slap across the face during a backstage confrontation earlier in the program, “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash charged into the ring with Scott “Flash” Norton and Buff Bagwell to pummel both grapplers. Nash laid out Kidman with a Powerbomb while Norton did likewise to Ultimo Dragon. Referee Slick Johnson officially declared the bout a “No Contest” at 10:54.
5. “Latino Heat” Eddie Guerrero bested “Iceman” Dean Malenko at 10:24. A superior mat technician, Malenko gambled and lost with an uncharacteristic high risk leap off the top rope. The Iceman’s would-be Diving Knee Drop found nothing but canvas. It was then Eddie’s turn to go up top where he connected with his trademark Frog Splash to put Malenko away for the winning three count.
6. Buff Bagwell got a helping hand in his victory over Diamond Dallas Page at 12:00. As usual, a contingent of n.W.o. members milled about ringside and liberally interfered in support of their stablemate while shady Referee Nick Patrick looked the other way. Patrick took his n.W.o. bias to the extreme when he (deliberately ??) missed DDP’s foot on the ropes and counted the pinfall for Bagwell following a Buff Blockbuster (Diving Neckbreaker) from the top rope.
7. Defending champ “Total Package” Lex Luger (w/ valet Liz) defended his United States Title against Bret “The Hitman” Hart in the Main Event. Luger got to work right away and attacked his challenger while Hart was climbing through the ropes to enter the ring. The champ used a repertoire of power maneuvers to maintain the advantage but failed to apply his trademark Torture Rack Backbreaker submission hold finisher. A missed corner charge would eventually turn the momentum in the Hitman’s favor. Caught in the Sharpshooter with no place to go, Luger slugged Referee Slick Johnson to draw the disqualification and save his title. The time of the match was 20:57.

1. Lenny Lane snuck a foreign object by Referee Charles Robinson’s detection during a pre-match pat down and used it quite often against his opponent Kaz Hayashi. The fans kept shouting every time Lenny dipped down into the tights for the weapon yet Robinson was never able to catch him in the act. An Enziguri Kick from Kaz finally sent the object flying out of Lane’s hand and landing on the floor OOR. Lenny went right out after it with Hayashi in hot pursuit. The two continued to battle back up the aisle with Robinson counting both men out at 6:07.
2. Three Count’s Shannon Moore topped “Ragin’ Cajun” Lash Leroux at 3:07. Lash was knocked dizzy after his head crashed hard to the mat following a Belly to Back Suplex. The maneuver was the perfect set up for Moore’s Bottom’s Up finisher (Leaping Rocker Dropper off the top rope) for the three count.
3. Disco Inferno brought the Mamalukes (Big Vito & Johnny “The Bull” Stamboli) to the ring with him to take on Booker T but Referee Scott Dickinson would have none of it. The official order Disco’s thugs to return to the back following Miss Hancock’s match introductions. Ironically enough, Booker’s Harlem Heat tag team partner Stevie Ray was allowed to remain at ringside. His presence proved to be a never-ending source of distraction for the Saturday Night Fever wannabe. Disco was rolled up from behind for the winning pinfall while arguing with Stevie. The time of the match was 5:32.
4. KroniK (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark) bested Los Guerreros (“Latino Heat” Eddie Guerrero & nephew Chavo Guerrero Jr.) at 12:25. A roll on their Cheating Modifier proved to be the difference for KroniK in this tag match. Adams & Clark combined for High Times (Double Chokeslam) on Chavito behind Referee Charles Robinson’s back while the official was sending Uncle Eddie back to his corner. Robinson turned around to find Clark making the cover and counted the pin despite Brian Adams technically being the legal man for his team at the time.
5. Konnan racked up a bushel of bonus points by signing autographs for youngsters who crowded around him during his ring entrance to take on Raven. Miffed by his opponent’s popularity, Raven grabbed the house mic and brooded, “What about me ?? What about Raven ??” The crowd responded with jeers and boos which did nothing to improve Raven’s disposition. His mood brightened considerably, however, after Konnan was drawn into a confrontation with Vampiro on the floor. The Dark Angel had joined the announcers’ table to provide guest commentary for the bout and mocked Konnan’s catchphrases. The two got into a tussle with Referee Mark Curtis counted Konnan out at 4:51.
6. Although he’s a heel, “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, a University of Michigan alumni, heard the cheers in Auburn Hills as he prepared to take on “Crippler” Chris Benoit. Steiner lost points as a result, but they did not cost him in the end. Both men were disqualified at 12:51 after simultaneously tossing Referee Scott Dickinson OOR to slug it out with one another.
7. The n.W.o.’s “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash drew some serious heat and was pelted with debris as he made his way down the aisle to face Sting in tonight’s Main Event. There would be no winner declared in this contest either. Nash’s lackeys stormed the ring once Big Sexy became trapped in Sting’s Scorpion Deathlock finisher prompting Harlem Heat’s Booker T and Stevie Ray to race in and join the fracas. Entangled in the bedlam, Referee Charles Robinson had no choice but to call for the bell and DQ both men for outside interference at 20:05.

1. Hot on the trail of Terry Garvin's Light Heavyweight Championship, the Lightning Kid wowed the fans with a relentless aerial assault enroute to victory over Manny Villalobos. The Kid tossed his opponent OOR and then put himself at risk when he sailed over the top rope with a twisting body block onto Villalobos. Both men were slow to get up after that wild maneuver but managed to beat Referee John Keaton's ten count. Once back inside the ring, the Kid used his educated feet to put Villalobos away with a Roundhouse Kick to the jaw at 3:44.
2. Introduced by Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho as "Hailing from Sea to Shining Sea", the Patriot made his way to ringside handing out small paper American flags to youngsters along the way. "Psychotic" Ed Robinson grew impatient with the delay and attacked the popular masked man as he stepped through the ropes to enter the ring. The ambush only served to fire up the Patriot all the more. Robinson was on the receiving end the rest of the way and went down to the Patriot Missile (Diving Shoulder Tackle from the top rope) at 3:20.
3. "Rugged" Rod Price, who is one half of the GWF Tag Team Champion Coast to Coast Connection along with "Hollywood" John Tatum, flew solo tonight with a win over Rattlesnake Raitz at 5:15. Manager Skandor Akbar accompanied Price to the ring and made his presence felt by reaching in to trip Raitz as the Rattlesnake was trying to mount a comeback. Price followed up with a Diving Fist Drop to gain the three count.
4. Christopher Love saw an opportunity for his protégé "Hot Body" Randy Rhodes when the gimpy North American Champion Scott Putski decide to defend his title tonight despite being hobbled by a knee injury suffered recently at the hands of "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel. Scott's legendary father "Polish Power" Ivan Putski was at ringside to insure that Love behaved himself during the contest. Despite the loss of 200 points for wrestling with his injury, Scott persevered and scored the pinfall to retain his title following the Polish Hammer off the ropes at 6:13.
5. Skandor Akbar returned to ringside with his stable hand Sweet Daddy Falcone who promptly snatched the house microphone away from Frank Coutinho and berated the City of Dallas for having lousy Italian food. Falcone's tirade earned him some bonus points in his match against Tug Taylor, but this bout would ultimately be settled on the floor. Falcone and Taylor took turns punishing one another around ringside with folding chairs and trash cans while being counted out by Referee James Beard at 8:23.
6. The Main Event featured a tag team contest pitting The Cartel (Makhan Singh & Cactus Jack) against the duo of Steve Simpson & "Conan" Chris Walker. The match became a four man free-for-all with Referee Rick Manning calling for the bell at 10:47 after both teams repeatedly ignored his attempts to restore order. The official decision was a Double Disqualification.

1. Bull Pain (w/ Valet Samantha) defeated Ben Jordan at 2:53.
Jordan may be an up and coming cruiserweight, but he was way overmatched against the likes of the brutish Bull Pain tonight. Samantha's presence at ringside didn't help matters any either. Jordan allowed himself to be drawn into a confrontation with the feisty valet up on the apron and received a slap across the face for his trouble. To make matters worse, he was greeted with a knee to the midsection by Bull as he tried to re-enter the ring and then finished off with a rope hung DDT.
2. Sam Houston (w/ Surprise Guest Baby Doll !) lost to "Mean" Mike Stetson via Count Out at 4:27
The fans were ecstatic to see Lubbock, Texas' own Baby Doll in Houston's corner tonight, but the good vibe didn't last long when Bull Pain and Samantha returned to ringside to stir up some trouble with her. A melee soon developed between the ladies on the floor prompting Houston to bail from the ring and come to Baby Doll's defense. All four began battling back up the aisle toward the dressing room with Mike Stetson receiving a gift victory when Referee Sam Esposito's ten count ran out on his AWOL opponent.
3. "Hard Body" Calvin Knapp over Francis "Cry Baby" Buxton at 5:06.
There is no one in the GWF that the fans enjoy heckling more than the obese mama's boy Francis "Cry Baby" Buxton. In sharp contrast, Calvin Knapp was the Darling of Dallas as he was showered with hugs and affection from the ladies while making his way to the ring. As usual, Buxton spent most of the match covering his ears and blubbering to Referee James Beard about the fans' constant harassment. The crowd was more than happy to see Calvin clamp on his Knapp Time Sleeper and send Buxton nighty-night for the victory.
4. The Masked Marvel beat "Teen Heartthrob" Chaz at 7:21.
Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho has had his fun with the Marvel, the not-so-mysterious masked man who's body language and mannerisms bear a striking resemblance to that of one Mr. Barry Horowitz. (It would probably help conceal his identity a little more if the Marvel didn't keep patting himself on the back.) In a rather comical moment, the Marvel held a folding chair above his head and threatened to clock Chaz. Thinking someone might get hurt, Frank climbed up onto the apron behind the masked man and pulled the chair right out of his hands. The bewildered Marvel looked all around for his chair and stared up at the rafters as if aliens had abducted it from his grasp. A quick roll up by Chaz nearly ended the match right then and there, but the masked man managed to lift a shoulder to spoil the three count. The Marvel pulled off a stunning upset moments later when he rolled through a Diving Cross Body Press and pinned Chaz with a handful of tights.
5. "Sensational" Steven Dane defeated "Wild" Bill Irwin at 7:47.
Wild Bill fancies himself "The Sheriff of the GWF" and tries to maintain order with his bullwhip "Mr. Lash", but there was clearly a disregard for authority when Dane busted him open with a hidden foreign object that he had pulled from his tights. Referee Sam Esposito took a careful look at the gash on Irwin's forehead and, against Wild Bill's fervent objections, deemed him unable to continue at 7:47.
6. The Rough Riders (Black Bart & "Cowboy" John Mantell) beat the Renegade Warriors ("Brave Sky" Chris Youngblood & "Nikona" Mark Youngblood) via Count Out at 9:39.
There was a lot at stake in the GWF Tag Team Rankings in tonight's Main Event that pitted the Warriors up against the Rough Riders. Referee James Beard had his hands full with both teams bending the rules to gain an advantage. The match was decided when the action moved OOR. Nikona was getting the better of Mantell around ringside until Black Bart snuck up from behind and laid out the Native American with his BB Branding Iron. James Beard's count reached ten as Brave Sky attended to his dazed brother on the floor.

1. Bryan Costello brought a bad attitude and an aggressive style with him to the ring but found that his opponent Tug Taylor can roughhouse just as well. The turning point of the match came when Tug caught Costello with his head down on a Back Body Drop attempt and quickly converted the opportunity into a Delayed Verticle Suplex. The 325lb Taylor then sailed off the top rope and connected with his Anchor Drop (Flying Elbow Drop) finisher to score the pinfall at 4:07.
2. “Beach Bully” Alex Porteau tried to intimidate Referee John Keaton and ended up getting himself disqualified against Manny Villalobos. Porteau thought that he had victory in his sights after delivering a Powerbomb to his opponent, but the official stopped his count at two after noticing that Villalobos was too close to the ropes. A heated exchange ensued with Porteau pushing Keaton down hard to the mat during the confrontation. The ref immediately called for the bell and awarded the bout to Villalobos by DQ at 4:41.
3. Dressed in black from head to toe with a few red stars adorning his ring attire, the Dark Patriot was soundly booed during his entrance. In contrast, his opponent the “Missouri Tiger” Jeff Gaylord shook hands and gave out ample high fives as he made his way to ringside. This match ended up on the floor with both men battering one another on an interview set platform. Referee Paul Neighbors’ count had long run out by the time the grapplers made their way back inside the ring. The time of the match was 6:22.
4. The Ebony Experience (Booker T & Stevie Ray) beat the Dirty Davis Brothers (“Maniac” Mike & Tom) at 8:24. No strangers to breaking the rules, the Davis Brothers expertly manipulated around Referee James Beard to maintain control of the match through several dirty double team maneuvers. Ironically enough, it would be a miscue by Tom during one such double team that would lead to disaster. Maniac Mike was leveled by an errant clothesline from his brother and then pinned by a Booker T Leg Drop from the top rope moments later.
5. Despite his immense size advantage, Makhan Singh of the Cartel had his problems with the speedy Handsome Stranger (a young Marcus Alexander Bagwell). Singh was in a heap of trouble after missing a corner charge and crashing full steam into the turnbuckle, but the Handsome Stranger became distracted by “Palm Beach Heartthrob” Scott Anthony who was heckling him from the announcers’ table. The Stranger bailed from the ring to confront Anthony and was counted out by Referee John Keaton while the two jawed at one another. The time of the match was 7:49.
6. North American Title Match. Champion “Polish Power” Scott Putski and his challenger “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel were both counted out at 10:09. Putski was looking for some serious payback after having his knee injured by the Nature Boy several months ago. Landel further added fuel to the fire by berating Scott’s legendary father Ivan Putski during a pre-match interview with Craig Johnson. Scott pummeled his challenger throughout the contest and even managed to connect with the Polish Hammer, but the momentum of the blow knocked Landel through the ropes and sent him crashing to the floor. Putski followed out after him and fought with the Nature Boy all the way back up the aisle toward the dressing room as Referee Paul Neighbors’ ten count ran out.

1. The Handsome Stranger beat Bryan Costello at 1:57 in our opening contest. Try as he may to draw heat, the crowd was indifferent toward Costello during his ring entrance. In contrast, the Handsome Stranger was showered with hugs and kisses by the ladies as he made his way to ringside. Costello was pinned with the Stranger-Plex (Cradle Suplex) after tucking his head too soon on a Back Body Drop attempt.
2. “Maniac” Mike Davis of the Dirty Davis Brothers defeated Rattlesnake Raitz at 6:11. Mike Davis may be about 50 cards shy of a full deck, but the man can wrestle when he feels so inclined. It didn’t hurt matters any to have brother Tom in his corner for this bout. Raitz’ attention was clearly divided between the two brothers which played right into his opponent’s hand. The Rattlesnake was giving Tom a stern warning not to interfere when he turned right into a quick boot to the midsection by Mike. The blow doubled him over and was quickly followed by a DDT for the winning three count.
3. Chaz over “Palm Beach Heartthrob” Scott Anthony of the Cartel via DQ at 11:18. A pre-match pat down by Referee Rick Manning revealed that Anthony was packing a small chain in his boot. The weapon was quickly confiscated by the official before the opening bell leaving the Palm Beach Hearthrob to devise another strategy. Apparently “Plan B” was to have fellow Cartel member Cactus Jack come down to ringside to be in his corner. Cactus saved Anthony from a probable pinfall by running into the ring to disrupt Rick Manning’s count after a Diving Cross Body Press from the top rope by Chaz, however the outside interference also drew the disqualification.
4. GWF TV Title Match. Champion “Gorgeous” Gary Young was able to retain the championship against challenger Big Bully Busick despite being counted out at 11:04. Puffing away on a stogie and sporting a bowler hat during his entrance, Busick employed his bar room brawling style quite effectively. The challenger was able to connect with his Bully Blaster finisher, however it was on the floor during OOR action. Young was unable to make Referee James Beard’s ten count after the devastating Heart Punch.
5. The Cartel (Makhan Singh & “Hustler” Rip Rogers) defeated the duo of Steve Simpson & “Conan” Chris Walker via Count Out at 12:11. Cactus Jack & Scott Anthony both returned to ringside to cause mayhem in this tag contest. They attempted to put a double team beat down on Chris Walker after he had been tossed OOR, but Conan proved to be quite capable in fending them off. Unfortunately for Walker, Referee John Keaton’s ten count had run out before he was able to get himself back inside the ring.
6. “Rugged” Rod Price (w/ “Hollywood” John Tatum, “Playboy” Gary Hart & Sebastian) defeated the Patriot in our Main Event. Outside Interference played a pivotal role in the outcome of this bout. Tatum came off the top rope with a nunchucks smash to the Patriot’s noggin while Sebastian and Gary Hart kept Referee Rick Manning occupied. The official finally turned around to find Price draped over his KO’d opponent and counted the tainted pinfall at 8:17.

1. Charlie Cook over Buck Brannigan in the opener at 8:51. Buck proved to be one tough hombre this evening. Cook by far had the better of the action, but he could not find a way to hold Brannigan’s shoulders to the mat long enough for the three count. Looking to steal a win before the ten minute time limit ran out, Buck tried to hit his opponent with Ring Announcer Sterling Brewer’s microphone but had the smash reversed. Cook quickly hooked a leg and scored the pin with just over a minute left in the bout.
2. The Super Destroyer (w/ Big John Studd) beat Roberto Soto at 4:00. The Destroyer (Scott Irwin beneath the mask) and Studd were both pelted with debris by the raucous crowd as they made their way down to ringside. The rude reception enabled the masked man to rack up some bonus heel points for this contest. John Studd made his presence felt by grabbing a hold of Soto’s boot to prevent him from climbing up to the top rope. The Destroyer quickly met Roberto half way up the turnbuckle and delivered a devastating Superplex to gain the three count.
3. Gypsy Joe defeated George Wells via Count Out at 4:36. Although he was checked for weapons before the opening bell by Referee Bobby Simmons, Joe managed to sneak a bag of Gypsy Dust past the official’s detection. This would prove to play a pivotal role once the action moved OOR. Joe was taking a shellacking on the floor but managed to get himself back inside the ring in time to make the ref’s count after blinding his adversary with a handful of the Dust.
4. The highly anticipated bout between “Man of a Thousand Holds” Les Thornton and Bruno Sammartino Jr. (David Sammartino) was declared a “No Contest” at 10:07. As advertised, this match was officiated by a special masked guest referee from the UK. Not to be outdone, the legendary Bruno Sammartino came to ringside to be in his son’s corner. Bruno Sr.’s presence OOR clearly had an impact on Thornton’s concentration. Again and again, the so-called “Man of a Thousand Holds” became distracted by Papa Sammartino and found himself in one pinning predicament after another. Fortunately for Les, the mysterious British official was either out of position to count the pins, employed a slow count, or missed the pin attempt altogether. Bruno Sr. was livid with the referee’s blatant favoritism and/or incompetence. Unable to contain his temper any longer, Papa Sammartino jumped into the ring to confront the official and unmasked him during a heated exchange. The mysterious referee turned out to be none other than Lord Alfred Hayes. The match was thrown out as Thornton and Hayes fled to the back.
5. “Fabulous Freebird” Buddy Roberts (w/ Terry Gordy) over Robert Fuller (w/ Ted Dibiase) by DQ at 13:30. Referee Ron West had his hands full maintaining order in this wild match. As it turned out, there would be as much action outside the ring as there was inside. Michael Hayes further added to the chaos when he left the announcers’ table to be with Terry Gordy in Roberts’ corner. During the pandemonium, Hayes, who was up on the apron attempting to interfere, was inadvertently sent crashing into West by Ted Dibiase. The dazed official blamed Dibiase for the bump and disqualified Robert Fuller. Fuller vehemently protested the ruling and pleaded his case but West’s decision stood.
6. The tag team contest pitting the duo of Steve Keirn & Tommy “Wildfire” Rich against Kevin Sullivan & “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer ended in a Double DQ at 13:00. All heck broke loose when Sullivan sustained Wildfire’s patented Thesz Press off the ropes. Sawyer immediately raced into the ring to break up Rich’s pin attempt prompting Keirn to join the fray. All four men then went at it with Referee Bobby Simmons disqualifying both teams after he was unable to restore order.
7. The Great Kabuki (w/ “Playboy” Gary Hart & Professor Sonoda) defeated Mr. Wrestling II via Count Out in the Main Event at 20:47. Gary Hart knows how to stir up the pot and cut a brilliant promo with Gordon Solie prior to the match. The interview gave Kabuki some much needed bonus points to work with as did some timely interference by the devious Sonoda. The Professor of the martial arts has been a thorn in Mr. Wrestling II’s side during his tenure in Georgia Championship Wrestling and this evening would be no different. Sonoda, who injured Wrestling II with a well-placed Karate Kick to the ribs several weeks ago, reached into the ring to try and trip the popular masked man as he bounded off the ropes during the action. While the attempt failed, the Professor did succeed in drawing the wrath of Wrestling II who bolted from the ring to give Sonoda his comeuppance on the floor. The two battled around ringside and back up the aisle toward the dressing room. Referee Ron West’s ten count ran out to give Kabuki the victory.

1. Clad in a black singlet with a gray mask, the mysterious Gladiator toppled Jim Tucker in our opening contest at 3:49. While he may have kept the crowd guessing as to his true identity, the masked heel failed to draw any heat from the fans whatsoever. Tucker may have benefited somewhat from the Gladiator’s loss of points, but went down to a suspiciously effective Head Butt in the end. The Gladiator appeared to remove something from his mask as he walked back up the aisle to the dressing room following the victory.
2. Young Brian Blair and veteran Rick Ferrara were both counted out at 5:24. Blair received a nice welcome in Augusta and rewarded the spectators for their support with a dazzling array of aerial maneuvers. His Flying Cross Body Press, however, sent both he and his opponent toppling over the top rope and crashing hard to the floor below. Neither man was able to recover in time to make Referee Charlie Smith’s ten count.
3. The bout between Professor Sonoda and “Downtown” Denny Brown ended before it ever started. Mr. Wrestling II bolted from the announcers’ table and put a clubberin’ on his hated rival during the match introductions. Sonoda was battered from pillar to post before being pulled OOR by his manager “Playboy” Gary Hart. The two quickly fled to the safety of the back with Wrestling II in hot pursuit. Since the match never officially started, Referee Nick Patrick declared it a “No Contest”.
4. The team of Ray “The Crippler” Stevens & Tor Kamata (w/ the Great Mephisto) beat the Gibson Brothers (Rick & Robert) at 6:17. Mephisto’s men got off to a strong start with a sneak attack from behind while their opponents were handing their ring jackets down to an attendant. Bolstered by their Technical Skills Modifier, the Gibsons began to mount a comeback until Mephisto interjected himself into the proceedings. The devious manager blinded Robert with a fireball causing the younger of the two Gibson brothers to stagger into a Stevens’ Piledriver for the winning pinfall.
5. Roddy Piper over Big Red Reese via DQ at 9:50. This match was vintage Piper. The Rowdy One insulted the city of Augusta and its citizens with some rather colorful language over the house mic to rack up a nice bonus of heel points. The fans were more than happy to see Big Red use his massive bulk to pulverize Roddy again and again. The woozy Piper still had the wherewithal to send Reese crashing into Referee Charlie Smith. Oblivious to Roddy’s chicanery, the dazed official blamed Red for the bump and called for the bell.
6. Ted Dibiase defeated “Fabulous Freebird” Terry Gordy (w/ Michael Hayes) by disqualification at 20:55. There’s no love lost between Dibiase and the Freebirds. He and his tag team partner Robert Fuller have both had their hands full with Gordy, Hayes and Buddy Roberts as of late. The feud continued this evening in this barn burner of a singles match-up with Gordy nearly scoring a pinfall following a huge Bulldog out of the corner. Ted barely managed to lift a shoulder in the nick of time to break the count, and then turned the tide of the battle by evading Gordy’s Big Splash attempt from the second rope. Dibiase then clamped on his Figure Four Leg Lock finisher prompting Michael Hayes to enter the ring and break up the hold. Referee Nick Patrick wasted no time in calling for the DQ. Gordy and Hayes put a double-team beat down on Dibiase until Robert Fuller raced in from the back to make the save.
7. The Main Event featured a Georgia Tag Team Title Match pitting the defending champion Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Gene & Ole Anderson) against the father and son combination of “Bullet” Bob Armstrong and Brad Armstrong. Ever popular in their home state, the Armstrongs signed dozens of autographs for a crowd of youngsters who flocked around them during their ring entrance. The challengers used the bonus points that they earned to carry the battle to their foes and dominate the action. A title change was in the air when Gene Anderson became trapped in Bullet Bob’s Sleeper Hold while son Brad kept Ole at bay as the two battled around ringside. Referee Scrappy McGowan seemed poised to signal for the bell after lifting and dropping Gene’s limp arm three times, but Roddy Piper came out of nowhere with a Double Axe Handle to Armstrong’s back from the top rope to break the hold and draw the DQ on the Andersons. Piper has had some harsh words regarding the Armstrongs recently and seemed to relish his role as spoiler in denying them their bid to win the Georgia Tag Team Title Championship. 1. Mike Jackson over Snake Brown in the opener at 2:52. Snake did a good job of drawing heat by jawing with spectators throughout the contest. A hard whip to the corner turnbuckle put Brown briefly in charge, however he chose to play to the fans rather than follow up on his advantage. By the time Snake did rush in, he was greeted with Jackson’s boot to the midsection and pinned by a Sunset Flip off the 2nd rope.
2. “The Man of a Thousand Holds” Les Thornton (w/ Lord Alfred Hayes) defeated Charlie Cook in dubious fashion at 7:27. The turning point of this bout came when Referee Ron West ordered Hayes to return to the back after the shady manager had been caught reaching into the ring and trying to trip up Cook. Hayes conferred with Thornton one final time before departing and managed to slip him some brass knucks in the process. A loaded punch to the jaw put Charlie down for the three count moments later.
3. Ted & Jerry Oates over Big Jim Duggan & the French Angel in tag team action at 4:38. Using their ring savvy to great effect, the Oates Brothers dominated their larger opponents from the get go. Duggan began to mount a comeback for his team with a barrage of kicks and punches on Jerry Oates, but disaster struck when he attempted a Body Slam. Ted raced in with a Drop Kick that knocked Duggan down with brother Jerry on top of him resulting in the winning pinfall.
4. The Super Destroyer pinned Kevin Von Erich with help from Big John Studd at 8:40. The Destroyer berated Kevin in a pre-match interview with Gordon Solie to rack up crucial bonus points. During his tirade, the masked man said that Von Erich had no business being in Georgia and told him to go back to Denton County, Texas where he belonged. Kevin was chomping at the bit to get this match underway and took the battle to his adversary once the bell rang. He had the Destroyer reeling with a flurry of arm drags and hip tosses before planting him with a Belly to Back Suplex. Von Erich was climbing up to the top rope when the Super Destroyer’s tag team partner Big John Studd interfered. Studd grabbed onto Kevin’s leg just long enough to impede his progress and buy time for the Destroyer to recover. The masked man met Von Erich half way up the turnbuckle and delivered a Superplex to score the 1-2-3.
5. “Outlaw” Ron Bass beat Bruce (aka Butch) Reed at 11:06. Bass has been rumoured to be in cahoots with Don Carson for quite some time now, but appeared to be visibly upset by the heel manager’s presence at the announcers’ table this evening. Judging by the Outlaw’s reaction, many, including Gordon Solie, speculated as to whether Bass and Carson have had a falling out somewhere along the way. Alas, the dissension proved to be all a ruse. Reed, who had been dominating his preoccupied foe with several power moves, decided to go up top to attempt a high risk maneuver. Carson suddenly bolted from the announcers’ desk and gave Bruce a shove from behind before the former football star could properly set himself. Reed crashed to the canvas and was pinned with a handful of tights moments after.
6. The team of Steve Keirn and Georgia Champion Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defeated the tandem of “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer & Kevin Sullivan in a tag team rematch at 11:20. These two teams have met before in Huntington, WV with that bout ending in a Double Disqualification. Sullivan & Sawyer were enjoying an edge in the action thanks to several dirty double-team maneuvers, however things took a turn for the worse when they tried to whip their opponents into one another from opposite corners of the ring. Rich and Keirn put on the brakes and reversed the maneuver. Sawyer stumbled out of the subsequent collision with his partner and turned right into Wildfire’s patented Thesz Press for the winning pinfall.
7. The Main Event contest pitting “Bullet” Bob Armstrong against “Rowdy” Roddy Piper resulted in a Double Disqualification at 26:18. Rowdy Roddy has been both critical and disrespectful toward the popular Armstrong family since his arrival here in Georgia and was doused with beer by some overzealous fans as he made his way down the aisle for the ring introductions. The rude welcome gave him bonus heel points to work with against the Armstrong patriarch. Bullet Bob attempted to wrestle his customary scientific style, however Piper’s rule-breaking and roughhouse tactics eventually drew him into a prolonged slugfest. Referee Charlie Smith tried to get the match back on track, but was simultaneously tossed from the ring by both competitors who were determined to duke it out. The official wasted no time in calling for the bell.

1. Gypsy Joe topped Bobby Garrett in the opener. Garrett made the mistake of turning his back on his opponent to hand his ring jacket down to an attendant after Freddie Miller’s match introductions. Joe rushed in with a Double Axe Handle to the back to grab the early advantage and never relinquished control. A Swinging Neckbreaker put Garrett down for the three count at 4:13.
2. Bruno Sammartino Jr. defeated Buck Brannigan at 5:31. Prior to the contest, young Bruno received a sterling endorsement from Mr. Wrestling II during a ringside interview with Ed Capral. The bonus points that Sammartino earned in the process came in mighty handy against the much larger Brannigan. Buck used his brawn quite effectively, but got into a heated confrontation with Referee Nick Patrick regarding his roughhouse tactics. Bruno capitalized on the moment by sneaking up from behind and pinning his preoccupied foe with a Backslide.
3. Big John Studd over Roberto Soto via submission at 3:53. Things didn’t get off to such a great start for Big John tonight. Referee Scrappy McGowan confiscated a foreign object that Studd tried to sneak into the ring during a pre-match pat down. Big John overcame the initial setback and went on to beat Soto with a Giant Bear Hug. Studd refused to release the hold until Kevin Von Erich rushed in from the back to make the save. (Kevin was looking for some payback after Studd’s interference cost him a match against the Super Destroyer last week in Marietta, GA).
4. The Gladiator beat “Polish Prince” Steve Olsonoski via Count Out at 6:04. Finding himself being thoroughly out-wrestled inside the squared circle, the masked Gladiator took the battle OOR where he hoped to have the advantage. As it turned out, Steve O dominated the action there as well. The desperate masked man resorted to a Low Blow on the floor and narrowly beat Referee Bobby Simmons’ ten count to get the duke.
5. Michael Hayes (w/ fellow Freebird Terry Gordy) defeated Big Red Reese by Count Out at 11:30. Hayes tried to get the upper hand with a sneak attack before the bell but Big Red was ready for him. Reese redirected the charging Hayes into the corner turnbuckle and followed up with a crushing Body Avalanche. Gordy may have saved the day by putting Hayes’ foot on the bottom rope to thwart Red’s subsequent pin attempt, but was sent to the back by Referee Nick Patrick after the incident. Left to fend for himself, Hayes struggled mightily. Again and again, the frustrated Freebird bailed from the ring to break Red’s momentum. Reese finally had enough and went out after him. The decision would prove costly. Hayes delivered a DDT onto the floor and rolled himself back inside the ring while Nick Patrick laid the ten count on Big Red.
6. Mr. Wrestling II and the Junk Yard Dog beat “Playboy” Gary Hart’s tandem of the Great Kabuki & Professor Sonoda in tag team action at 11:57. The underlying theme of this bout was the bitter ongoing feud between Sonoda and Wrestling II. The professor avoided his nemesis by tagging out as often as possible whenever Wrestling II was in the ring, but, alas, fate would find him in the end. Sonoda sustained Wrestling II’s trademark Million Dollar Knee Left which led to the winning pinfall.
7. Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defended the Georgia Championship Title against Kevin Sullivan in tonight’s Main Event. Sullivan drew big heat during his ring introduction to pad his points total, but still found himself in a heap of trouble against the champ. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer must have thought so as well, and came down to ringside mid match to be in his buddy Sullivan’s corner. Buzz may have had the best of intentions when he climbed up onto the apron with a folding chair, but erred big time when he accidentally clocked Sullivan with it after Wildfire had ducked. The challenger staggered out of the corner and right into Rich’s Thesz Press finisher for the three count. Your winner at 32:21 and still Georgia Heavyweight Champion, Tommy “Wildfire” Rich.

1. The UWF's favorite enhancement worker Mike Boyette went down to defeat once more; this time at the hands of Chavo Guerrero. Chavo came off the top rope with a Flying Moonsault Body Block to put away Boyette at 3:58.
2. "UWF Rookie of the Year" Shane Douglas from Pittsburgh, PA got the better of Devastation Incorporated's "Wild" Bill Irwin (w/ General Skandor Akbar). Irwin was hoisting Shane up for a Back Suplex attempt when the youngster flipped himself out of the maneuver and cradled Wild Bill with a Schoolboy Roll Up from behind for the pin at 6:40.
3. Terry Taylor of the First Family got a little help from Missy Hyatt to defeat Savannah Jack at 8:12 Savannah was staggered by a shot from behind with "The Lady in Waiting" (Missy's loaded Gucci Handbag) and stumbled right into Taylor's Flying Fivearm for the three count. There was no time to celebrate afterwards, however, as the Fabulous Freebirds hit the ring with a vengeance but failed to get their hands on the hated and elusive Taylor.
4. UWF TV Title Match. Sting successfully defended his title against challenger "Gorgeous" Gary Young at 7:53. Young was attempting to Suplex Sting back into the ring from the apron but the TV Champ grabbed the top rope on his way over and landed on top of Gorgeous Gary for the pinfall. Sting retains the UWF TV Title.
5. The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael P.S. Hayes & Buddy Roberts w/ Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy) defeated the Jive Tones (Shaska Whatley & Tiger Conway Jr.) at 9:27. Conway tried to whack Buddy Roberts with one of the Jive Tones' canes but inadvertently clobbered his own partner with it instead. Roberts hooked a leg and pinned the dazed Shaska.
6. The First Family's "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert (w/ Missy Hyatt) beat Sam Houston at 12:54. Gilbert, who wrote the book on cheating (including the forward and glossary), pulled a small chain from his boot, wrapped it around his fist and KO'd Sam with a loaded punch to gain the tainted three count.

1. Art Crews proved to be a handful for Dick Murdoch in tonight's opening bout. The turning point came when Art missed a Knee Drop from the top rope and found nothing but canvas. Crews never recovered from his miscue and was pinned shortly after with Murdoch's Delayed Brainbuster at 6:02.
2. Tulsa's own Steve Cox nearly brought down the house with a rousing ring entrance to face his opponent Brett Wayne Sawyer. Cox did not disappoint his hometown fans and put Sawyer away with a Russian Leg Sweep at 5:45.
3. The Angel of Death (w/ Sunshine) defeated Brickhouse Brown at 6:39. Brickhouse appeared to blow out a knee after landing awkwardly on a leap frog attempt over the Angel. Brown insisted upon continuing but noticably limped for the remainder of the match. The end came when his leg gave out as he attempted to lift his opponent for a Body Slam. The Angel ended up falling on top of Brown for the three count.
4. The First Family's Rick Steiner (w/ "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "The First Lady of Professional Wrestling" Missy Hyatt) over Brad Armstrong at 7:13. There never seems to be a dull moment whenever Hot Stuff & Missy are at ringside. Armstrong was in the process of giving Rick Steiner ten punches in the corner when he received a faceful of powder courtesy of Mr. Gilbert. Steiner then hopped up to the 2nd rope and flattened the blinded Armstrong with a Flying Clothesline for the pinfall.
5. General Skandor Akbar's Devastation Incorporated (Bad, Bad Leroy Brown & Eli the Eliminator) received a gift Count Out victory over UWF TV Champion Sting & his partner "Gentleman" Chris Adams at 9:52. Eddie Gilbert returned to ringside and caused havoc for his former tag team partner Sting. Gilbert snatched the TV Belt off the time keeper's table and ran back up the aisle toward the dressing room with Sting in hot pursuit. Referee Alfred Neely laid the ten count on the AWOL TV Champion while Devastation Incorporated attempted to cash in on Terry Taylor's bounty by putting a clubberin' on Adams. The Fabulous Freebirds hit the ring not a moment to soon to chase off Akbar and his men.
6. Freebird Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy over "Ugandan Giant" Kamala (w/ Handler Friday & Skandor Akbar) at 9:28. The First Family interferred once more as Terry Taylor ran in with his briefcase full of bounty money but Gordy saw him coming and ducked just in time. The Ugandan Giant took Taylor's Halliburton shot over the head instead and was out like a light. Taylor high tailed it out of the ring leaving Bam Bam to make the easy pin.

1. "Fabulous Freebird" Buddy Roberts (w/ Michael P.S. Hayes) opened the show with a victory over the less than "Mr. Superb" Steve Doll at 4:08. Doll seemed off his game tonight and made several miscues, the most glaring of which was to turn his back on his opponent and showboat for the crowd. Roberts wasted no time in taking advantage of the situation by planting Doll with a Running Bulldog from behind to gain the pinfall.
2. The First Family's Terry Taylor (w/ "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "The First Lady of Professional Wrestling" Missy Hyatt) defeated "White Lightning" Tim Hoerner at 6:17. Taylor, voted "Most Hated Wrestler in the UWF" in a recent fan poll, literally received a helping hand from Eddie Gilbert to win this one. Gilbert reached into the ring and tripped Hoerner as he was lifting his opponent up for a Verticle Suplex attempt causing Taylor to land on top for the pin. "Hot Stuff" took no chances and held onto Hoerner's foot to prevent a kick out.
3. Devastation Incorporated's "Wild" Bill Irwin (w/ General Skandor Akbar) lost to Savannah Jack at 6:47. There was a meeting of the minds in Devastation Incorporated's corner and not in a good way either. Akbar and Irwin were given a noggin knocker when the pesty manager climbed up to the apron to interfere. The dazed Irwin stumbled right into Savannah's Superkick for the three count.
4. The Kiwi Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Cousin Luke Williams) did what they do best - cause havoc and punish their opponents. In this case it was the UWF's exciting team of youngsters Steve Cox and Shane Douglas who took the beating. As always, the Sheepherders were on the cusp of being disqualified for their flagrant disregard of the rulebook however Referee Edward Faulk was very lenient in his officiating tonight which seemed to open the door for a Sheepherder's victory. Cox was clubbed over the back with the Sheepherder's New Zealand flagpole by Cousin Luke enabling Butch to make the pin at 8:11.
5. UWF Champion Steve "Dr. Death" Williams electrified Beaumont with a stirring entrance and dominated the big Russian Kortsia Korchenko enroute to victory in this non-title bout. The former football star from the University of Oklahoma decked Korchenko with a Running Tackle from a three-point stance before finishing him off with his trademark Oklahoma Stampede (Running Powerslam) at 6:55.
6. UWF TV Title Match. The First Family's "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert (w/ Missy Hyatt & Terry Taylor) unseated Sting (w/ "Gentleman" Chris Adams) for the Televison Title at 13:27. Gilbert, who was frisked by Referee Tony Torres prior to the match and relieved of several objects including brass knucks, a two foot length of rope, a fishing lure and a small bag of baby powder, prevailed amidst a ring full of chaos. Chris Adams (at last) was able to get his hands on hated adversary Terry Taylor and pummeled him in the corner to elicit a roar of wild cheers from the fans while Sting did likewise with his challenger in the opposite corner. Everyone seemed to forget about Missy Hyatt during all the mayhem. She proved to be Hot Stuff's Ace in the Hole. Sting was hit over the head with Missy's loaded Gucci handbag "The Lady in Waiting" and pinned by Gilbert with both feet on the ropes for leverage to win the title.
