Here is a question regarding the field goal ranges...I own the 1966 season which is prior to the goalposts being moved to the back of the endzone, yet the ranges still start with 18-25. I have not been able to find an answer to this but what are you supposed to do if the field goal is from 8-17 yards (line of scrimmage from the 1 to 10 yardline)?? I've also been told that all of the extra point ranges should be increased by +9 and that seems to make sense from what I've seen since a kicker who was perfect on extra points is rated 10-60 instead of 10-69. Can anybody confirm this? Thanks for the help!
FYI...I sent my field goal range question directly to Downey Games and Jeff responded promptly to say that 8-17 yard field goals should use the 18-25 yard range numbers. He also confirmed that the 1966 XP ranges were wrong and he supplied the corrected ranges.
