In playing the 1960 Dallas texans . I found there is no sack rating for the team. Everything else is complete but the sack section is blank,----Brian oopsie, I left out game. Its the goal football game.
The 1960 Texans and a few more of the early seasons didn't have full rosters listed when we created them.
We did this around 2007 or so, and data was harder to come by.
All of the seasons pre-1982 are estimates for individuals, as the stat was not tracked. So, we took sacks, and estimated them for individual players. This worked 98% of the time. But, of course, didn't work when we didn't have roster data for non-skilled players.
The actual sack rating is there, and the Dallas defense will perform as expected. But, there isn't a listing of individual player's for sacks.
