On the Extra Innings forum, from time to time, there has been some discussion on how to apply the adjusted ERA ratings to the batter ratings. I was reading through some old Table Top Sports newsletters. In the Winter 1976 edition, there is a newsletter from the late Jack Kavanagh explaining how he designed this to work and he also talks about his philosophy about innovations to his game. I thought it would be interested to Extra Innings people.
