Mean Mark's Quick and Dirty WC 2010 Sim V2 Excel 2003
I made a few modifications to Mean Mark's WC 2010 soccer simulation:
1. I have based team ratings on ESPN's Soccer Power Index (SPI) created by Nate Silver, as I do not know how MM rates the teams.
Teams now have a rating for offense and defense.
2. I have added the Tournament Page. You just need to manually enter the score from each game. Standings will automatically update and teams who progress will populate in the knockout session. You can manually delete the scores to replay the tournament.
3. I have added a Yes/No list box to identify a game that is part of the knockout phase. Games in the knockout phase will play 30 minutes of extra time, if tied at the end of regulation. Penalty kicks will decide the match if still tied after extra time.
**This is in Excel 2003 format and does not have the scoring details like MM's 2007 version.
