UWF Results (Circa Late 80's) - Sam Houston Coliseum, Houston, TX. Att: 9,115.
Announcers: Boyd Pierce & Frank Dusek
Ring Announcer: Reeser Bowden
Referees: Carl Fergie & Tommy Gilbert

The program opens with a fist fight in the parking of the Sam Houston Coliseum between Terry Taylor and "Hot Stuff " Eddie Gilbert who are both dressed in street clothes. Missy Hyatt is screaming and a bunch of wrestlers suddenly burst through the double doors and run outside to break it up. We see Art Crews, John Tatum and Butch Reed followed by the Rock & Roll RPMs and Buzz Sawyer among others. One group is holding Taylor back while the other restrains Gilbert. Taylor is bleeding from the nose. His shirt is torn and he is shouting something at Gilbert. Gilbert has a welt under his left eye which will no doubt be a shiner by morning. His cursing is beeped out for the most part but the microphone still manages to pick up an insult about Taylor's mother. UWF Commissioner John Ayers runs outside. He looks absolutely furious. He is quickly joined by UWF President "Cowboy" Bill Watts who looks equally angry. Ayers covers the camera lens with his hand but we clearly hear him berate Gilbert and send him home without pay. Watts orders Terry Taylor into the Commisioner's office. The camera follows Ayers, Watts & Taylor down a long corridor. They enter the office and the door slams in the camera's face. We hear shouting inside. There are sounds of glass breaking and objects being thrown against the wall followed by more shouting.

We go back to ringside where Boyd Pierce and Frank Dusek look stunned. They discuss the Taylor/Gilbert Feud at great length. Pierce comments that the two men "legitimately hate one another". Dusek agrees and adds that "hate" is not too strong a word in this situation. We are shown video clips of the history of the bad blood - Gilbert jumping Taylor during an interview segment with Jim Ross back in January with the walls of the set collapsing onto Taylor. We see Gilbert sitting in the ring dazed, his face a bloody mess as Taylor climbs out to victory in their Cajun' Cage Match in Baton Rouge. We see Missy Hyatt slugging Taylor with her loaded purse in a UWF Title match against the One Man Gang and costing Taylor his chance to win the UWF Championship. We quickly cut to ringside where Reeser Bowden is making the introductions for the first bout.

1. Savannah Jack pinned Gustavo Mendoza with the Superkick at 2:13.

2. "Hollywood" John Tatum (w/ Missy Hyatt) beat Art Crews at 7:04. Art was helping Referee Carl Fergie get back to his feet after being knocked down during a mid-ring collision. Tatum pounced on the opportunity and rolled Crews up from behind for the pin.

3. Iceman King Parsons (now hearing cheers instead of jeers from the fans after parting ways with Dark Journey) defeated Eli the Eliminator (w/ General Skandor Akbar) at 4:13. Akbar tried to slip Eli a hidden foreign object but the Iceman intercepted it and KO'd Eli with the weapon for the pin.

The camera quickly cut back to the corridor where Terry Taylor has finally emerged from Commisioner Ayers' office. He walks out in a huff and refuses to comment. The camera follows him outside as Taylor walks to his car in the parking lot. Taylor stops abruptly in his tracks. His cursing is beeped out. We see that someone has slashed all four of his tires. He pushes the cameraman out of the way and storms back inside the Coliseum. In his rage, Taylor fails to notice Lord Humongous and Downtown Bruno off to the side snickering. There is a gleam from a metallic object in Humongous' right hand.

4. Texas Tornado Tag Team Match (All four men in the ring at once). The Jersey Boys (Angelo Mosca Jr. & "Jumping" Joe Savoldi) got the better of their rivals, The Rock & Roll RPM's ("Maniac" Mike Davis & Tommy Lane w/ Downtown Bruno) at 5:25. Downtown Bruno tried to throw a handful of powder into Savoldi's eyes but "Jumping Joe" ducked at the last second and Mike Davis got a face full of the powder instead. Savoldi then cradled the blinded Davis for the pin.

5. "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer (w/ brother Brett) defeated "Bullet" Bob Armstrong at 9:05. With Brett distracting Referee Tommy Gilbert, Buzz wrapped his dog chain around his fist and KO'd Armstrong with a loaded punch. Gilbert turned around in time to count the pin.

We are backstage again and the camera picks up Terry Taylor talking on a payphone. He keeps turning away from the camera for privacy. We can't determine who he's speaking to but the conversation is very heated. Outside we suddenly see "Gentleman" Chris Adams pull up in his car. Taylor notices and hangs up the phone. He brushes past Humongous who is on his way to the ring, walks outside and get's in Adams' car. We watch Adams and Taylor speed off into the Houston night.

6. Lord Humongous (w/ Downtown Bruno) demolished Butch Reed with a Powerbomb at 11:10. Butch had to be assisted backstage after the bout.

7. Falls Count Anywhere Match. Austin Idol over Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy at 15:03. The battle raged throughout the Sam Houston Coliseum and ended in the lobby after Austin Idol speared Gordy through the wall of the Ticket Booth which promptly collapsed on both men as well as the ticket collector who was trapped inside. Referee Carl Fergie was able to determine that Gordy's shoulders were down in the rubble and counted the pin.

6. UWF Tag Team Title Match. The Champion Kiwi Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Cousin Luke Williams w/ Lord Jonathan Boyd) successfully defended their belts over the Challenger Jive Tones (Shaska Whatley & Tiger Conway Jr.) at 13:35. Miller choked out Conway with the Sheepherder's flagpole while Jonathan Boyd distracted Referee Rick Ferrara. Ferrara turned around in time to count the pin.

7. In the Main Event, "Louisville Slugger" Big Bubba Rogers (w/ Jim Cornette) defeated "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan at 15:49. With Referee Alfred Neely knocked down in the action, Cornette threw Duggan's 2 x 4 into the ring for Rogers to use. Big Bubba KO'd Hacksaw with the board as Neely recovered in time to count the tainted pin.

Missy Hyatt : "Wasn't that nice of Big Ol' Bubba to give that goofy Jim Duggan his board back, Jim Ross ?

Jim Ross : (Rolling his eyes) "Yeah, he gave it to him alright, Missy. What match were you watching ?"

3. Los Guerreros (Chavo & Mando Guerrero) over the Coast Connection ("Hollywood" John Tatum & Jack Victory w/ Missy Hyatt) at 8:57. Jacko missed a high risk leap off the top rope and found nothing but canvas. Chavo made the cover for the pinfall.

5. Lord Humongous (w/ Downtown Bruno) over "Strongman" Ted Arcidi by DQ at 5:36. Bruno tried to sneak a crowbar in the ring to Humongous but Arcidi intercepted the weapon. Unfortunately for him, Referee Edward Faulk turned around just in time to catch Arcidi holding the crowbar and called for the bell.

6. UWF World TV Title Match. Champion "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel (w/ Missy Hyatt) defeated the Challenger Brickhouse Brown at 7:37. Missy Hyatt tripped Brickhouse Brown and Landel pounced on him with both feet on the ropes for leverage to score the pinfall.

Hayes made the quick cover for the winning pin. Austin Idol immediately ran out from the back to point out the infraction to the referee but Gilbert's decision stood. Gordy and Idol got into a brief shoving match before being separated

2. Bad Leroy Brown (w/ General Skandor Akbar) over Davey Haskins with the Big Splash at 2:07.

3. "Freebird" Michael P.S. Hayes (w/ Buddy Jack Roberts) defeated Brad Armstrong at 3:14. Roberts reached into the ring and tripped Armstrong coming off the ropes. Brad stumbled right into a big DDT from Hayes for the pin. After the bout, Roberts joined Hayes in a double-team beatdown of Armstrong until Brad's father "Bullet Bob" ran into the ring to make the save. Just when it appeared that order had finally been restored, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy came out of the crowd in street clothes and gave Bob Armstrong a vicious Piledriver on the concrete. Austin Idol ran out to chase off Gordy. "Bullet" Bob had to be stretchered out with a very concerned Brad Armstrong by his side.

4. Butch Reed picked up a win over the Missing Link (w/ Dark Journey) at 12:23 . Butch came off the second rope with a Diving Shoulder Tackle for the pin. Dark Journey ran into the ring to break up the pin but was too late.

5. "Unpredictable" Dick Slater (w/ Dark Journey) defeated former stablemate Iceman King Parsons at 12:12. With Slater distracting Referee Carl Fergie, Dark Journey jumped on Parsons back and viciously clawed at his eyes with her fingernails. The Iceman backed her into the corner with a Butt Bump, but was run over by a Slater Clothesline as he turned around. Slater then hit a Diving Elbow Drop off the 2nd rope for the pin. Dark Journey had to be restrained from going after Parsons after the match, but she did manage to stomp on him with her high-heel shoe before being pulled out of the ring by Slater.

6. Scaffold Match. The Rock & Roll RPMs ("Maniac" Mike Davis & Tommy Lane w/ Downtown Bruno) and the Jersey Boys (Angelo Mosca Jr. & "Jumping" Joe Savoldi). With Savoldi and Lane battling from opposite sides of the ladder, Jumping Joe lost his balance and got hung upside down with his foot caught in between the rungs. Lane yanked him off and Savoldi tumbled to the mat. Meanwhile, Davis and Mosca were bother dangling from rungs beneath the scaffold trying to kick one another off. Mosca succeeded in sending Davis down to the canvas, however he was in a precarious position under the scaffold. Tommy Lane, from up above him, bit on his knuckles until Mosca could no longer hold onto the rung and fell to the mat. Winner: The Rock & Roll RPMs at 10:20.

7. Lord Humongous (w/ Downtown Bruno) defeated Austin Idol via Count Out at 13:12. WWWF Results (Circa Late 70's) - Bangor Auditorium, Bangor, ME. Att: 4,922.

Ring Announcer: Frank Coutinho
Referees: Dick Kroll & Billy Caputo

1. Victor Rivera had his problems with local favorite "Matman" Robbie Ellis but prevailed in the end with a Sunset Flip into the ring from the apron to score the pinfall at 6:04. Ellis received his share of the crowd's support as he entered the ring in a yellow fisherman's rain slicker and hat along with a lobster trap during Frank's ring introductions.

2. Buzzard Creek, Oregon's Stan "The Man" Stasiak (w/ The Grand Wizard of Wrestling) put away S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones with his dreaded Heart Punch at 4:35.

3. "Flying" Fred Curry and rugged Tank Patton were both counted out by Referee Billy Caputo at 6:47. Tank caught Curry's Flying Cross Body Press but the momentum of the maneuver sent both men toppling over the top rope and crashing hard to the floor. Neither could make Caputo's subsequent ten count.

A brief intermission followed to allow fans to hit the concession stands and rest rooms. As they returned to their seats, Frank announced that discount tickets were available for the upcoming University of Maine Men's and Woman's basketball teams as well as the annual Maine Principal's Association basketball tournament.

4. Captain Louis Albano's WWWF Tag Team Champions, the Valiant Brothers ("Handsome" Jimmy & "Luscious" Johnny) were able to hold off their challengers Dino Bravo & Dominic Denucci at 10:02. Puffing away on his cigar and racing about ringside in his open Hawaiian Shirt, the unscrupulous Albano slipped a hidden foreign object into "Luscious" Johnny's hand while Johnny was standing on the apron waiting to be tagged in by his brother. Sure enough, Johnny KO'd Denucci with a loaded punch once he entered the ring to make the pin. The Valiant Brothers retain the WWWF Tag Team Titles.

5. Chief Jay Strongbow from Pawhuska, Oklahoma and "Crazy" Luke Graham (w/ The Grand Wizard) were both disqualified by Referee Dick Kroll at 12:37 as they brawled around ringside. Several objects came into play including the time keeper's bell and Frank's microphone. Strongbow received a huge ovation from the crowd when he found "Matman" Robbie Ellis' lobster trap on the floor and smashed it over Graham's back.

6. In the Main Event, Bob Backlund defeated "The Iron Greek" Spiros Arion (w/ "Hollywood Fashion Plate" Classy Freddie Blassie at 18:28. Arion was in control until Backlund was able to reverse a head smash into an exposed turnbuckle that the "Iron Greek" had removed the padding from earlier in the bout. Backlund then finished off the dazed Arion with his Delayed Atomic Spinebuster for the win.

WWWF Results (Circa Late 70's) - Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, PA. Att: 11,206.

Announcer: Vince McMahon Jr.
Ring Announcer: Gary Cappetta
Referees: Wee Willie Weber, Lou Super & Dick Woehrle

1. Dominic Denucci opened the show with a win over "Dynamite" Jack Evans at 6:20. Denucci scored the pinfall with an Airplane Spin.

2. The Fabulous Moolah was one step ahead of Joyce Grable and pulled out an unlikely victory at 6:53. Grable thought that she had things in control when she suplexed Moolah back into the ring from the apron, however the cagey veteran was able to hook her leg around Grable's to cradle her for the three count as they landed.

3. George "The Animal" Steele (w/ "The Guiding Light" (?) Captain Louis Albano) made a meal of both a turnbuckle pad and his opponent Steve Travis during their match. Steele opened a gash by constantly gnawing on Travis' forehead despite Referee Lou Super's repeated warnings. When the bout was stopped at 7:56, fans thought that the Animal had finally been disqualified for his behavior, but were stunned to see his arm raised in victory. Super had ruled that Travis was unable to continue due to the bleeding from his wound and awarded the match to Steele.

4. Six Man Tag Team Match. The trio of Tony Garea, Larry Zbyszko & barefoot "Country Boy" Haystacks Calhoun were victorious over the motley collection of Baron Scicluna, “The Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz & "Continental Nobleman" Joe Turko at 7:16. All three heels were sandwiched in their corner by the big "Country Boy" much to the amusement of the fans. Rodz was the last to collapse to the canvas and then had Haystacks sit on top of his chest for the pin.

5. "The Man of a Thousand Masks" Mil Mascaras from Mexico City dazzled both the fans and his opponent Tor Kamata alike with his vast repertoire of high flying theatrics. Mascaras caught Kamata with a Flying Crucifix off the ropes for the pinfall at 6:05. Announcer Vince McMahon said that the flustered Kamata "didn't know if he was on foot or horseback" by the time the match was over.

6. Grudge Match. Seeking revenge for a vicious chair shot during a match in Albany, NY that put dozens of stitches in his head a month or so ago, "Polish Power" Ivan Putski looked to take out his wrath on the "Big Cat" Ernie Ladd (w/ The Grand Wizard of Wrestling). Ladd persisted in fleeing the ring whenever he was in trouble which frustrated Putski to no end. The "Big Cat" seemed relieved to finally be counted out by Referee Dick Woehrle at 9:48 when he took longer than usual in trying to get back inside the squared circle. Putski grabbed the house mic away from Gary Cappetta and demanded a Lumberjack Match against Ladd "to keep that coward in the ring !" and then ended his tirade with his signature "Polish Power !" which drew a loud roar from the crowd.

Referees: Dusty Feldbaumer, Dick Woehrle & Gilberto Roman

1. "Irish" Pat Barrett defeated Jose Estrada at 4:17. The pesky Estrada proved to be a handful for Barrett until he missed a high risk leap off the top rope. Barrett used a Crucifix to roll Estrada over and pin his shoulders to the mat for the three count.

2. "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe beat S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones at 5:30. Jones had the "Pretty Boy" reeling with a series of Head Butts but took too long following up on his advantage. Sharpe delivered a quick boot to the midsection to double-over Jones and then finished him off with a Piledriver.

3. Victor Rivera continued his winning ways in the WWWF with a victory over "Butcher" Paul Vachon at 7:11. The popular Rivera slammed the Butcher to the mat and followed up with a Running Cannonball to Vachon's chest to score the pinfall.

4. WWWF Tag Team Title Match. The Challengers "Chief" Jay Strongbow & "High Chief" Peter Maivia defeated the reigning Champions, "Captain" Louis Albano's Valiant Brothers ("Handsome" Jimmy & "Luscious" Johnny) by DQ at 14:46. The Captain may very well have saved the Valiant Brothers their titles when he raced into the ring and smashed a chair over Strongbow's back to break up a Sleeper Hold on "Luscious Johnny". The Valiants immediately high-tailed it out of the ring but Albano was not so fortunate. The Captain bounced back and forth like a pinball between chops from Strongbow and Maivia as the fans roared in approval. The battered Albano was finally pulled out of the ring by "Handsome" Jimmy and helped to the back. The Valiant Brothers retain the WWWF Tag Team Titles.

5. "The Iron Greek" Spiros Arion got a big assist from his manager "Hollywood Fashion Plate" Classy Freddie Blassie to defeat Tony Parisi at 9:36. Blassie tripped Parisi as he was being whipped to the ropes and then held his foot down for good measure to help secure the pin for Arion.

6. Lumberjack Match. "Polish Power" Ivan Putski vs. "The Big Cat" Ernie Ladd. (The lumberjacks surrounding the ring included S.D. Jones, "Chief" Jay Strongbow, "Iron Greek" Spiros Arion, Jose Estrada, "High Chief" Peter Maivia, "Luscious" Johnny Valiant, Victor Rivera, "Irish" Pat Barrett, Tony Parisi, "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe, "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant and "Butcher" Paul Vachon.) After several unsuccessful attempts to flee the ring, Ernie Ladd realized that he would have to fight it out with Putski. "The Big Cat" used the heel lumberjacks to his advantage by constantly tossing his opponent out of the ring in their direction. The Valiants, in particular, did a number on Putski before rolling him back in the ring. Ladd then leapt off the top rope to finish off Polish Power but Putski managed to lift a leg just as the Big Cat was landing. Ladd was stunned by Putski's boot to the chin and went down for the three count at 11:59.

7. WWWF Title Match. Champion Bruno Sammartino over Challenger Waldo Von Erich (w/ Classy Freddie Blassie) by DQ at 10:34. Wrestling holds were hard to find in this brutal slugfest. Bruno can brawl with the best of them and more than held his own against his opponent. Von Erich resorted to bashing the Champ over the head with his German WWII Helmet to draw the disqualification from Referee Dusty Feldbaumer. Sammartino was busted open from the blow which only served to enrage him all the more. Several WWWF officials had to run in and pull Bruno off Von Erich after the bout. Bruno Sammartino retains the WWWF Title.

Ring Announcer: Frank Coutinho
Referees: John Stanley & "Tough" Tony Altimore

1. Manuel Soto fell victim to "Olympic Strongman" Ken Patera's Swinging Full Nelson at 4:55. Patera's manager Captain Louis Albano was particularly annoying to Ring Announcer Frank Coutinho. Albano insisted upon being introduced as "The Guiding Light" as he raced around the ring puffing away on his cigar.

2. Popular Hawaiian Dean Ho put away the unorthodox masked Golden Terror from the Amazon Region of South America with a Sunset Flip into the ring from the apron at 5:20. The Terror's mannerisms in the ring bore more than a passing resemblance to one "Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty.

3. Hot on the Valiant Brothers trail for the WWWF Tag Team Titles, the duo of Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko were tested by the veteran tandem of "Matman" Robbie Ellis (In Yellow Fisherman's Rain Slicker & Cap) & his partner "The Unpredictable" Johnny Rodz. Rodz and Ellis employed quick tags in and out to keep Garea close to their corner and wore down the native from Auckland, New Zealand. All heck broke loose, however, when Garea was able to crawl through the Matman's legs and make the hot tag to Larry Zbyszko. The heels were whipped into one another from opposite corners causing the dazed Ellis to be caught in School Boy Roll Up from behind by Zbyszko for the three count.

4. Gorilla Monsoon over Baron Mikel Scicluna from the Isle of Malta. As he often does, the Baron used a hidden foreign object throughout the contest but managed to hide it's detection from Referee John Stanley's vision despite the objections of the fans whenever the weapon came into play. In spite of Scicluna's constant cheating, Monsoon persevered to score the pinfall with an Airplane Spin at 7:31.

5. Heart Punch specialist Stan "The Man" Stasiak defeated Dominic Denucci at 9:08. Denucci was able to elude his opponent's dreaded finisher, however he could not avoid a smash to an exposed turnbuckle that Stasiak had removed the padding from earlier in the bout which led to the deciding pinfall.

6. "Eighth Wonder of the World" Andre the Giant made a special appearance in Bangor and emerged victorious over "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/ The Grand Wizard of Wrestling). Referee Tony Altimore had a difficult time keeping Graham in the ring as the Superstar was reluctant to tie up with the Giant and bailed out at the slightest sign of trouble. Andre finally had enough and took the battle to Graham on the floor. A huge Head Butt from the Giant sent the Superstar reeling half way up the aisle. Graham was counted out by Altimore before he could return to the ring. Your winner: Andre the Giant by Count Out at 11:36.

The blinded Desiree could not find her way back into the ring to make Referee Bob Warren's ten count.

4. "Top Gun" Ricky Rice (w/ Jon Paul DeMans) over "Sensei" Pat Tanaka (w/ "Hard Rock" Paul Diamond) at 8:04. Dissension in the ranks !! Tanaka got into a shoving contest with his (former?) Badd Company Tag Team partner Paul Diamond. Ricky Rice seized the moment and rolled up Tanaka from behind for the pinfall. "Diamond" Dallas Page immediately ran out to ringside to try and smooth things over with his men but neither Tanaka nor Diamond would speak to one another.

5. Soldad Ustinov (w/ Teijo Khan) defeated Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka at 8:41. With Referee Rich Frisk down, Teijo Khan ran into the ring and reversed the Superfly's cradle on Ustinov. Frisk recovered in time to count the pin.

Interview Segment : Al DeRusha & Paul "Hard Rock" Diamond

Diamond is hot under the collar. He accused Pat Tanaka of putting his own interests ahead of Badd Company's. Diamond said he wants a crack at the Rockers for the AWA Tag Team Titles but that Tanaka is "too busy doing his own thing". Once again "Diamond" Dallas Page came running out and interupted the interview segment. He told Al DeRusha "this is nothing" and to "mind your own business" and quickly whisked Paul Diamond away.

6. The team of Crusher & Dick the Bruiser beat the Long Riders ("Wild" Bill & Scott "Hog" Irwin) by DQ at 12:21. A frustrated Scott Irwin pushed Referee Bub Lurtsema down to the mat after a slow count on brother Bill's pin attempt on Dick the Bruiser for the disqualification. There was more action outside the ring than in as Mike Sanders stalked and harrassed Leia Meow from the onset. Leia was more than capable of defending herself as she slapped Sanders across the face, nevertheless, Kaz Hayashi came to his valet's defense and was counted out by Referee Scott Dickinson in the process. The Thrillers are all products of WCW's Power Plant facility where they were trained by Paul Orndorff, Bobby Eaton & DeWayne Bruce (Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker).

"The Laughing Man" wasn't laughing when he could not shake out the cobwebs in time to make Referee Charles Robinson's ten count. Vince Russo was booed out of the ring after spending ten minutes hyping Tank Abbott after the match. The WCW fans just weren't buying Russo's nonsense and littered the ring with debris.

4. David Flair & Crowbar (w/ David's goth girlfriend Daffney Unger) defeated the West Hollywood Blondes (Lenny Lane & Lodi) at 7:57. Crowbar used a sommersault Guillotine Leg Drop into the ring from the apron to pin Lenny.

5. Cruiserweight Championship Finals. "Sugar" Shane Helms can thank his Three Count buddy Shannon Moore for bringing him the Cruiserweight gold after defeating Ultimo Dragon via Count Out at 8:16. With the Ultimo Dragon tossed OOR and Referee Scott Dickinson admonishing Shane Helms for his tactics, Moore leapt off the apron with his Bottoms Up finisher (Leg Drop Bulldog) driving the Dragon face first onto the concrete floor. Dickinson laid the ten count on the dazed Dragon and awarded the belt to Helms.

6. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas got some unexpected help from Raven to defeat "Crippler" Chris Benoit at 14:40. Benoit caught "The Franchise" with his trio of Rolling German Suplexes and was about to clamp on the Crippler Crossface when Raven, who had joined the announcers' table to provide guest commentary for the bout, got up from his seat and began heckling him. A heated confrontation between the two ensued. Douglas took advantage of the distraction by sneaking up from behind and pinning Benoit with a Roll Up.

7. United States Tournament Match. "Career Killer" Mike Awesome eliminated Booker T to advance to the finals. Booker appeared to be on his way to victory after landing his Axe Kick when Awesome tucked his head too soon on a Back Body Drop attempt. Booker performed his Spinarooni and began to scale the turnbuckle for his Heat Seeker (Missile Drop Kick) when Kimberly Page ran down to ringside and pushed him off the top rope. Awesome followed up with a Frog Splash to score the pinfall at 19:36. An irate Diamond Dallas Page then appeared at the top of the ramp as Awesome and Kimberly escaped through the crowd.

1. Kid Romeo (w/ glow stick entrance) over Blitzkrieg by Count Out at 5:06. With Romeo staggering OOR, the high flying Blitzkrieg missed a Plancha (Slingshot Cross Body Press over the top rope to the outside) and landed shoulder-first on the floor. Referee Billy Silverman issued the ten count and then checked on Blitzkrieg's condition. There seemed to be a miscommunication between the two grapplers as Romeo was suppose to catch Blitzkrieg and help break his fall during the maneuver.

2. Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Big Rick Fuller were both counted out by Referee Slick Johnson. With Fuller up against the ropes, a Running Clothesline from McMichael sent both men toppling OOR and out onto the floor. They continued their battle around ringside until Johnson called the match at 7:42.

3. Meng (w/ Faces of Fear partner the Barbarian) over "The Chair Man of WCW" La Parka (w/ air guitar entrance) at 7:09. With Referee Billy Silverman knocked down in the action, the Barbarian ran into the ring and reversed La Parka's cradle. Silverman recovered to count the pin for Meng.

4. Scotty Riggs defeated Kanyon by Count Out at 10:05. Mike Awesome came down to ringside with Kimberly Page which immediately drew the attention of Diamond Dallas Page's friend Kanyon. Kanyon and Awesome battled up the aisle to the back as Referee Slick Johnson issued the ten count.

5. "The Dark Angel" Vampiro (w/ the Insane Clown Posse) over Rey Mysterio Jr. at 8:42. With Shaggy 2 Dope & Violent J keeping Referee Billy Silverman occupied, Vampiro gave Mysterio his Nail in the Coffin finisher (Michinoku Driver) on the floor. Rey could not recover in time to make the count.

3. Shannon Moore (w/ fellow Three Count member "Sugar" Shane Helms) defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. (w/ Pepe the Stick Horse) by Count Out at 6:18. Helms was a menace with his constant interference and drew the wrath of Chavito. As Guerrero was chasing Helms around ringside, Shannon Moore redirected him into the ring post with a loud "clang". Chavo was down and out for the ten count as referee Charles Robinson awarded the match to Moore.

4. "Lionheart" Chris Jericho (w/ "Monday Night Jericho" T-Shirt and Jerichoholics Anonymous bodyguard Ralphus) over Billy Kidman (w/ Torrie Wilson) at 8:12. The toothless and dim-witted Ralphus attempted to flirt with Torrie and received a slap across the face for his trouble. This caused the oafish bodyguard to stumble backwards into Kidman who was bounding off the ropes. Jericho seized the moment and connected with a Lionsault (Springboard Moonsault) onto the floored Kidman for the pin.

5. WCW Tag Team Title Match. The Outsiders ("Big Sexy" Kevin Nash & Scott Hall w/ "Hollywood" Hogan) successfully defended their titles against the challengers, KroniK (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark) at 7:23. Scott Hall pinned Brian Adams after the nWo's "Hollywood" Hogan smashed Adams in the back of the head with one of the tag team belts. The Outsiders retain the titles.

6. Steel Cage Match. Kanyon defeated Mike Awesome with a little help from Diamond Dallas Page at 11:21. Mike Awesome planted Kanyon with his Awesome Bomb (Running Powerbomb ) and was about to exit through the cage door when DDP ran down to ringside and slammed the door into Awesome's face. In the meantime, a groggy Kanyon got back to his feet and climbed out of the cage to victory.

7. In the Main Event, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair over Bret "The Hitman" Hart at 17:52. The Hitman had Flair cradled in a Reverse Roll Up but Referee Mickey Jay had been bowled over in the process. Arn Anderson, who was seated in the front row as a spectator, jumped the barricade railing and ran into the ring to reverse the cradle. Oblivious to the mischief, Jay crawled over and counted the pin for the Nature Boy. Arn gave the "Four Horsemen" symbol to the camera as he exited the ring with the victorious Flair. Michael "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" Buffer provided the match introductions and flubbed Hart's entrance by calling him Bret "The Hitman" Clark.

1. The Wild-Eyed Southern Boys (Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smothers) over the State Patrol (Lt. James Earl Wright & Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker) at 4:40. Steve Armstrong elevated Sgt. Parker in a Bear Hug for his partner Tracy Smothers to land the Jaw Jacker (Flying Back Elbow Smash off the 2nd rope) and score the winning pinfall.

2. "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin (w/ Monogrammed Towel Draped Around His Neck) was tested by veteran Bill White before unleashing his "Hands of Stone" Knockout Punch to gain the three count at 6:32.

A ringside interview between Bob Caudle and Mid-Atlantic Television Champion "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes was interrupted when Don Kernodle interjected himself into the conversation and asked Dusty for a crack at his TV title. Rhodes was initially taken aback by the challenge but answered, "Ith not for the "American Dream" to dethide, if you weeeeel, Don Kernodle. Thith ith a matta for Jimmy Crockett, you unnathtand ?" Kernodle put his hands on his hips and laughed to himself. "Yeah, I think I understand alright, Dusty. When you're done ducking me, you let me know, okay ?" Kernodle walked off leaving the Dream and Caudle to ponder the awkward confrontation.

3. The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) defeated the tandem of the Italian Stallion & Vinnie Valentino. Using quick tags in and out, the Andersons cut off the ring and dominated their opponents for the entire match. As always, the left arm was the target of their attack. After numerous arm locks, stomps and body slams to the arm, Valentino submitted to a wrenching arm bar from Ole Anderson at 4:03.

4. "Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez (w/ "No. 1" Paul Jones) won by disqualification over "Pistol" Pez Whatley at 7:26 when the "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant ran into the ring and attacked Fernandez. Valiant has been chomping at the bit to get his hands on Fernandez ever since "The Ragin' Bull" turned on him and joined forces with Paul Jones' Army. The "Boogie-Woogie Man" was sending Fernandez to la la land with his Sleeper when Paul Jones sent the Barbarian into the ring to attack Valiant. Pez Whatley was able to clear the ring of the heels with a chair and attend to the hurting Valiant.

5. "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler over "Outlaw" Ron Bass (w/ James J. Dillon) by DQ at 8:13. Bass wrapped his Bullwhip "Miss Betsy" around his opponent's throat and choked out Tyler in the corner to draw the disqualification from Referee Steve Gregory.

6. United States Championship Match. Champion Magnum T.A. defied doctors' orders and insisted upon defending his title despite a serious neck injury suffered at the hands of "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff & his Uncle Ivan at the Greensboro Coliseum. (The Koloffs combined to viciously clothesline Magnum with their chain and send the U.S. Champion to the hospital.) It was obvious that Magnum was less than 100% and appeared very stiff in the ring against his challenger "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/ "No. 1" Paul Jones). The situation played right into the powerhouse Graham's hands (literally) as he clamped on a devastating Full Nelson. The champ refused to submit but passed out in the hold from the excruciating pain that he was forced to endure. Referee Tommy Young called for the bell and awarded the title to the challenger. "Superstar" Billy Graham is the neeeeeewwwwww United States Champion.

Referees: Tommy Young, Greg Peterson & Sonny Fargo

1. The American Starship Eagle (Young Dan Spivey) landed with a Running Leg Drop on Thunderfoot #1 to score the pinfall at 4:17.

2. Paul Jones Army ("Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez & The Barbarian) were in the process of annihilating the hapless Mulkey Brothers (Bill & Randy) when "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant ran in with his baseball bat which he affectionately refers to as his "Old Lady" and cleared the ring of Jones' men. The Mulkeys were disqualified by Referee Tommy Young for Valiant's interference but appeared to be grateful to the "Boogie-Woogie Man" for coming to their rescue.

3. Nelson Royal over George South in a hard fought victory at 6:29. A see-saw battle that ended with a Schoolboy Roll Up when South turned his back on his opponent to argue with Referee Sonny Fargo over an alleged slow two-count on South's pin attempt moments earlier.

4. An overly aggressive Don Kernodle showed a mean streak in his win over Lazer Tron (A Masked Hector Guerrero) at 5:50. Kernodle seemed to be sending a message to TV Champion Dusty Rhodes by defeating his opponent with a Figure Four Leglock and then refusing to release the move after the submission. Referee Greg Peterson had to untangle the legs to finally break the hold and came within an eyelash of disqualifying Kernodle. After the bout, Kernodle appeared to glare at the announcers' table where the American Dream was providing color commentary.

5. Rick Steamboat over Tully Blanchard (w/ his "Perfect Ten" Baby Doll) by DQ at 9:07. Boasting that he was a better pure scientific wrestler than his opponent in a pre-match interview with David Crockett, Blanchard became increasingly frustrated when he found that Steamboat had a counter for any hold that he could muster. Tully conferred with his valet in the corner and came out of the discussion with an object in his hand. Blanchard leveled his opponent with a loaded punch and appeared to be on his way to a pinfall when Dusty Rhodes left his broadcast position to inform Referee Tommy Young of what had transpired. Blanchard then attempted to KO the Dream with the object but swung and missed. Rhodes countered with a Bionic Elbow to the noggin causing Tully to drop his weapon. The object turned out to be a small chunk of chain from Baby Doll's purse. Upon seeing the object, Tommy Young immediately signaled for the disqualification. Baby Doll then got into it with Rhodes in the ring and slapped the Dream across the face. Dusty wagged his finger at her and backed the valet into a corner when he was suddenly blindsided by Don Kernodle who ran in and bashed Rhodes from behind with his own TV Title Belt. Order was finally restored as a dazed Dusty Rhodes was helped to the back by Steamboat.

6. The arena was still buzzing over what had just transpired until they witnessed an epic battle unfold between young Barry Windham from Sweetwater, Texas and the cantankerous Chief Wahoo McDaniel from The University of Oklahoma in tonight's Main Event. There was an abundance of punches and Tomahawk Chops thrown in this one as both men were busted open during their bitter struggle. Although neither wrestler wanted to stop, Referee Greg Peterson called for the bell at 15:54 and stopped the bout due to blood with no winner declared.
