A few notes:

This is my 12th set of cards. This time, the delay in getting them out was caused not only by a lack of ink, but also a lack of time. I couldn't print out the ratings, so I had to go back and forth using the PDF files. Also, I had some other things to do that took me away from doing cards.
This will likely be the way of things for quite a while. With football season approaching, I may not have time to devote to making cards. I will try, at least, to put out a 2008 set (when the stats are available) if I don't get to the three other seasons I want to do.
As usual, I did all the cards by hand, without aid of a special program. The catcher and outfield arms ratings were determined by number of assists.

Some other information:
The 1946 card file contains those players with 50 or more at bats or 30 or more innings pitched.
This year, three batters received a BD rating of 2 -- Hank Greenberg (DET), Ted Williams (BOS) and Charlie Keller (NYY) -- and two received 1s -- Pat Seerey (CLE) and Joe DiMaggio (NYY).
Eight pitchers had their PB rating downgraded, all from 2-8 to 2-7 -- Bob Feller (CLE), Harry Brecheen (STL), Johnny Sain (BSN), Ewell Blackwell (CIN), Dizzy Trout (DET), Bill Bevens (NYY), Joe Beggs (CIN) and Howie Pollet (STL). No pitchers received upgrades.

The combined cards for players who played with two or more teams have either symbols or a letter at the bottom right of their cards. They are:

BLANK: A regular card. Stats used for that player are solely for time spent with that team in 1946.
*: A combined Major League card. Stats used were combined from every team that player spent time with in 1946.
A: A combined American League card. Stats used were combined from every AL team that player spent time with in 1946.
N: A combined American League card. Stats used were combined from every NL team that player spent time with in 1946.

If I continue, the next set will be 1947, followed by 1953 and 1958. If it takes a while for me to get to them, I'll likely just start a 2008 set, when the stats are ready.

Until then, enjoy the 1946 season cards.
