A few notes:

This is my sixth set of Statis Pro cards. This time, I may actually take that time off I've been telling you all about.
Just as before, I did all the cards by hand, without aid of a special program. It took only a few days from beginning to completion this time around.
Same as before, outfield and catcher arm ratings are based on player assists. If you have a MS Works spreadsheet copy of the files and disagree with any rating, feel free to change them.

Some other information:
The card file for 1920 contains cards only for those players with 50 or more at bats or 25 or more innings pitched. The change was necessitated by the lack of pitchers for some teams. Even so, adding those pitchers with 25-29 2/3 innings only yielded the Chicago White Sox six pitchers.
In addition, with the drop in innings necessary to obtain a card, two players received both a batter and a pitcher card -- the Boston Braves' Eddie Eayrs and the Philadelphia Athletics' Lyle Bigbee.
Also, because this was just the beginning of the live ball era, only one player received a 2 BD rating -- Babe Ruth. All other batters received a 0.
But on the other side, 13 pitchers were downgraded because of the amount of games they lost -- Leon Cadore (BRO), Burleigh Grimes (BRO), Hippo Vaughn (CHI), Dutch Ruether (CIN), Stan Coveleski (CLE), Jesse Barnes (NYG), Bob Shawkey (NYY), Babe Adams (PIT), Wilbur Cooper (PIT), Elmer Ponder (PIT), Bill Doak (STL), Dana Fillingim (BSN) and Jesse Haines (STL). The first 11 went from a 2-8 to a 2-7, the last two from a 2-7 to 2-6.
Two pitchers were also upgraded based on wins -- Ray Caldwell (CLE) and Lefty Williams (CWS), but because of the downgrades, only two pitchers have PB ratings of 2-8.
Also, one player -- the Philadelphia A's' Joe Dugan -- received CD ratings at three positions, a 1 at second base, shortstop and third base.

Once again, the combined cards for players who played with two or more teams have either symbols or a letter at the bottom right of their cards. They are:

BLANK: A regular card. Stats used for that player are solely for time spent with that team in 1921.
*: A combined Major League card. Stats used were combined from every team that player spent time with in 1921.
A: A combined American League card. Stats used were combined from every AL team that player spent time with in 1921.
N: A combined American League card. Stats used were combined from every NL team that player spent time with in 1921.

It may be a little while before you see more cards from me, so I hope you enjoy the 1920 season.
