As the name implies, this quick play game provides you with a final score for a hockey game. Allowing you to rapidly play games and watch standings unfold before your eyes. However, there is more to the game than just generating scores. There is plenty of excitement and drama along the way, keeping the game play exciting and compelling. You will have late in the game goals, equalizers and fantastic saves.

Each team is rated individually for Offense, Defense, Pressure situations, and Home Ice Advantage. And while there will surely be some surprises along the way, since this is a game, the accuracy of the game will astound you. We also have a normalization system for every team and league we rate, so you can play across seasons to determine the best team of all-time.

Take the ice with Downey’s Final Score Hockey!

However, there is more to the game than just generating scores. There is plenty of excitement and drama along the way, keeping the game play exciting and compelling. You will have nail biters, blow outs, and even a big upset or two.

Final Score College Basketball differs from our other quick play line, Ultra Quick, as the games all unfold in a half-by-half manner.

Each team is rated individually for Offense, Defense, and Home Court Advantage. And while there will surely be some surprises along the way, since this is a game, after all, the accuracy of the game will astound you.   Time Travel Baseball Word Series Match-Ups 3 Available
Downey Games is proud to announce the release of Great World Series Match-Ups Set 3 for Time Travel Baseball.

As we have done in the past, the first 25 PRINTED sets will receive Limited Edition Bonus cards.

You can purchase the printed set here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_58_110&products_id=3917

The E-Book is available here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_59_187&products_id=3918

The Match-Ups included in the set are as follows:

1924 Washington vs. New York

In the 1924 World Series, Washington beat New York in seven games. New York became the first team to play in four consecutive World Series, winning in 1921–1922 and losing in 1923–1924. Their long-time manager, John McGraw, made his ninth and final World Series appearance in 1924. This was the second extra-inning World Series-deciding game (1912) and the last until 1991.

Walter Johnson, after pitching his first 20-victory season (23) since 1919, was making his first World Series appearance, at the age of 36, while nearing the end of his career with Washington. He lost his two starts, but Washington battled back to force a Game 7, giving Johnson a chance to redeem himself when he came on in relief in that game. Johnson held on to get the win and give Washington its first and only championship. The seventh game is widely considered to be one of the most dramatic games in Series history.

1946 St. Louis vs. Boston

In the eighth inning of Game 7, with the score 3–3, St. Louis' Enos Slaughter opened the inning with a single but two batters failed to advance him. With two outs, Harry Walker walloped a hit over Johnny Pesky's head into left-center field. As Leon Culberson chased it down, Slaughter started his "mad dash". Pesky caught Culberson's throw, turned and—perhaps surprised to see Slaughter headed for the plate—supposedly hesitated just a split second before throwing home. Roy Partee had to take a few steps up the third base line to catch Pesky's toss, but Slaughter was safe without a play at the plate and Walker was credited with an RBI double. St. Louis won the game and the Series in seven games, giving them their sixth championship.

Boston superstar Ted Williams played the Series injured and was largely ineffective but refused to use his injury as an excuse.

As the first World Series to be played after wartime travel restrictions had been lifted, it returned from the 3-4 format to the 2–3–2 format for home teams, which has been used ever since. It also saw the return of many prominent players from military service.

2016 Cleveland vs. Chicago

Chicago defeated Cleveland 4 games to 3 to win their first World Series in 108 years. Game 7, an 8–7 victory in extra innings, which marked the fifth time that a Game 7 had gone past nine innings, was the first to have a rain delay which occurred as the tenth inning was about to start. Chicago was the sixth team to come back from a three-games-to-one deficit to win a best-of-seven World Series.

Chicago, playing in their eleventh World Series and their first since 1945, won their third championship and first since 1908. It was Cleveland's sixth appearance in the World Series and their first since 1997, with their last Series win having come in 1948. The two teams entered their match-up as the two franchises with the longest World Series title droughts, a combined 176 years without a championship.

POTG Tennis 2016 ATP Year Books Released
Downey Games is proud to announce the release of the 2016 Men's Tours for Player of the Game Tennis. We have also released the enhanced year book again this year.

The Basic year book features the top 216 players on the Men's Tour. Also included is a complete schedule.

The Enhanced year book features 3700+ players rated. This is over 1100 more players rated than the 2015 Enhanced set. The Enhanced Set also contains individual ratings for Carpet and Indoor Synthetic Surfaces. We have also included the total number of matches played on each surface, for an easier lookup when consulting the injury chart. With so many players rated, the ratings come in "sheet" format, rather than "card" format. There is no need to purchase the Base Set if you choose the Enhanced Year Book, unless you wish to have the Top 216 players in the familiar "card" format.

The E-Books are available here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5_14_160

The Printed Year Books are available here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_9_159

Player of the Game Tennis is much like our other games in the Player of the Game lineup. It plays rapidly, but offers enough detail and action to give you the story of the match.

In Player of the Game Tennis, each player is individually rated for their service game both first serves and second serves; their complete ability when receiving (again how they handle the opponent's first serve or second serve); ability to hit game winners or game losers in some cases. Other factors, like a player's fitness, whether he is a favorite, ability to handle adversity, major and minor injuries are all included. Did we mention that all of the factors above are broken down by playing surface? All aspects of a tennis match are covered.

Player of the Game is easy to learn and easy to understand. You'll be playing in no time. Each match will unfold in front of your eyes at a brisk pace. A full match in Player of the Game tennis take no longer than 10 minutes. Most matches will be completed in 5 minutes!

2016 PGA and European PGA Tour Year Books Released
Downey Games is proud to announce the release of the 2016 US PGA Tour and 2016 European Tour Year Books for Player of the Game Golf.

With the 2016 set, we have rated every golfer to score a point toward the Fed Ex Cup for the PGA Tour, and every player to earn money on te European Tour. This expands the 2016 sets to nearly 70 golfers over the 2014 sets. This should allow you as the gamer to truly hold “as-played” tournaments. Doing this also allows you to conduct the Major Tournaments with the part-time tour players that often fill these events.

We have included the Optional Big Day/Bad Day system that was employed in the All-Time Great Set.

Fast Action Football 2016 NFL Released
Downey Games is proud to announce the release of the 2016 NFL season for Fast Action Football.

The E-Book is available here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_6_147&products_id=3880

The Printed Year Book is available here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_2_148&products_id=3879

Fast Action Football, as the name would suggest, uses a Fast Action Deck to resolve games. The game is a full-featured, play-by-play game. Don't mistake this for a quick play or drive-by-drive game. The game is tailored to the solitaire gamer, plays in under an hour, and features individual players.

While those features are great, you may be thinking that they aren't necessarily unique. What sets Fast Action Football apart from other games is the Momentum Factor within the game, which makes it "feel" like the real life sport. The Momentum Factor isn't a gimmick, and it's not over stated. It is perfectly implemented to replicate the momentum shifts within the game that you see in real life on the gridiron.

I can't state it enough, this game "FEELS" like football. You see the stingy defenses, and the defenses that may flex but not break, once the ball is in the Red Zone. You see the fleet-footed quarterbacks turn would be sacks into 20 yard gains. You see the accuracy of a Tom Brady, and the great receiving of Jerry Rice.

From a gaming point of view, Fast Action Football is the ultimate in portability. To play, you only need the Fast Action Deck, two team sheets, a score sheet and a pencil. The game has an extremely small footprint, which makes it ideal for limited table space or for tucking away when on a trip.

Fast Action Football is like a good book that you just can’t put down. You find yourself saying, one more game and quickly discover it is 3 AM.
