I really enjoy UQ college football but I have a question about the SOS. Why is the SOS difference added to the higher rated team instead of dividing it by 2 and adding half to the higher rated team and subtracting half from the lower rated team? Does it create more realistic scores and does it change form year to year.
I am currently player the 2017 College football Season and have played all Fcs & BCS teams and am half way through D2.
For one, it is easier.
And as we state in the rule book, "(Note this is different than prior years, and accurately brings scoring in line. You can match up any teams you like. But, be prepared for a BCS Series Power House to completely dominate a lower division team)"
This is the best method to accurately represent scoring not only with teams from the same division, but also inter-divisional "mythical" games.
