Any chance of an updated "career line" ratings for the big fight on Saturday for Main Event Boxing?

I pre-played the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight twice with Main Event. I did it twice mostly for fun, but I also did it so I could play once with dice and once with the FACs. I prefer the latter, but even when I use the dice, I always do the scoring with the FACs.

There are several things it seems that Main Event is telling me about the fight. The first is that it will go the distance. Both bouts went to the scorecards. The next is that the seventh round will be dangerous for Manny. He was knocked down in that round in both bouts. Another thing is that facial damage will be mostly limited to Pacquiao. In one bout Mayweather had some minor swelling in his left eye and in the other bout nothing. In one bout Pacquiao suffered swelling in his right eye and a cut on the bridge of his nose. In the other he had a bloody nose and a big gash over his left eye. But that gash happened in the 12th round so it didn't endanger a stoppage.

In both bouts, Mayweather was the unanimous winner.

In the first fight it was 115-112, 118-109, 116-111
In the second it was 115-114, 114-112, 119-109

The first fight was with cards and the second with dice. Thanks for Downey Games for providing the ratings. I encourage you who have the game to try it out before tonight's bouts.

Round 12: Floyd out points Manny 24-11. Manny was at TKO of F due to endurance penalties. Since the 24 exceeded the TKO chart value of 15 and Floyd won the round by 10+, TKO, RIGHT?

Fight Higlights:
RD 3: Floyd knocks down Manny but Pacman gets up
RD 5: Manny lands a big power punch on Floyd
RD 11: Floyd opens a cut over Manny's right eye
RD 12: Fight stopped after 10 point power punch lands at 2:42 of the twelfth.

Judges had it scored this way:
Judge 1: Floyd 106 Manny 103
Judge 2: Floyd 108 Manny 102
Judge 3: Floyd 106 Manny 104
Great fun! Thanks for posting the ratings. Don't look now, America- but Boxing is making a comeback! Just look at ESPN Quality of FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS and NBC in the game as well.

My TKO F is 20 points but that still would have triggered with 24 for Floyd.

The game did fairly well in capturing the fight. Actually, it did astoundingly well in capturing the entire card.

Perhaps the difference in our F rated TKO values of 15, 20 comes from the version/edition of the game? I purchased mine in 2006. Perhaps, Mr. Downey can explain the difference.
And, yes the game simulated the fight fairly well. Perhaps, one could fight a whole under card and bet on the results and do well? Smile

Rick is using the All-Time TKO chart, which is the reason for the difference.

The chart is part of the Main Event Boxing Fast Action and Advanced Game System. Great add-on for the game.

Thanks. May need to order that after getting back into the ME/UQ fight groove.
