Remember when I wrote that I thought it might not be worth the extra time to set up the by quarters method? Boy have I changed my mind. My first game with it was the third game of my 2014-15 Indiana Pacers replay. Let me tell you what happened.

Atlanta crushes Indiana in the opening quarter and led 37-21. Korver had nine points and Millsap 8. Schroder added 7. Indiana got 9 from Solomon Hill.

Indiana got a little of it back and trailed 60-47 at intermission. Mahnmi led the way for Indiana with 11. Horford had 10 and Millsap 7.

In the third quarter, Indiana inched closer. Stuckey had 7 and Scola 6 but it was the Pacers defense that made the difference. Atlanta got 17 in the quarter. Pacers still trailed 77-72.

Despite a 12-point final quarter by Horford for te home team Hawks, Indiana got 9 from Stuckey and 8 each from West and Scola and nipped Atlanta 100-99.

Stuckey had 24 to help Indiana as George Hill sat out the contest. Scola had 17 with West and Solomon Hill getting 16 each. Horford topped Atlanta with 27 and Millsap added 22.

Never going back. Would love to see the recent by quarters scoresheet. This really raises my ability to feel how the game unfolded. Great stuff.
