I recently purchased TV Pro Wrestling with the AWA and early Georgia sets. Since I grew up in Minnesota , I cut out the AWA stuff first. My first job is getting a champion.

Here is my first round of matches:

Nick Bockwinkel v Kerry von Erich
Jerry Lawler v Otto Wanz
Rick Martel v Wahoo McDaniel
Harley Race v The Crusher
Billy Robinson v Larry Zbyszko
Andre the Giant v King Kong Brody
Superstar Billy Graham v Pedro Morales

Results coming up.

Here are the first round results:

Verne Gagne v Sgt. Slaughter - Gagne wins by pin at 5:36. Gagne pretty much dominated this match. The match did have two events. The first event The fans pelted Sgt. Slaughter for some reason and during the match Lord Alfred Hayes threw Sgt. a brass knukle that was intercepted by Gagne. After that Gagne pinned Sgt.

Bockwinkle v von Erich - In an upset von Erich won by pin at 6:02. The match did have one big in-match event. Bobby Heenan threw Bockwinkle a pair of brass knuckles that was intercepted by von Erich. Shortly after that the match was over. There will be a rematch down the road especially if von Erich becomes the champ.

More first round action coming -up!

Lawler v Wanz: Lawler wins by pin at 10:09. Even match.

Martel v McDaniel: McDaniel wins by pin at 14:28. During the match there was an In-match event. Tommy Rich entered the ring area and McDaniel and Rich double-teamed Martel. We might have a tag-team match down the road?

Two in-match events: 52: Pedro Morales finds Graham's hidden object...uses it. -8 endurance to Superstar. #16: Superstars manager Bobby "The Weasel" Heenan uses an object on Morales allowing Graham to pin at 2:41.

On the "Wild Event Chart" , what does it mean to roll on section 6? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will wait for a reply before I continue my tournament.

Thanks, RAB

I think it means to roll on the High Spot (or High Spot Tired if tired). Usually, you use that chart when you roll a 6.

Here are the semifinals:

Referee: Larry Lisowski

Verne Gagne v Wahoo McDaniel: Gagne wins by pin, from a "Flying Dropkick" at 4:44. Gagne survived an early pin attempt (Savvy) by McDaniel. Then Gagne when to work, Gagne tired out McDaniel, then it was just a matter of time, before the enviable.

Referee: Jack Pesek

Billy Robinson v Andre the Giant: This was a crazy match. We had an in-Match Event - Billy Robinson finds Andre the Giant's hidden object, Robinson uses the object. Then there was also a "Wild Event". A fan climbed into the ring and smashed Andre the Giant with a bottle. By the time the match ended the Giant had suffered -36 in endurance. With all those points scored Billy could not finish off Andre! Until Billy applied a "Double-Arm Suplex" at 12:31 to win by pin! Both wrestlers used there "Savvy" during the match.

AWA World Heavyweight Championship

Verne Gagne v Billy Robinson

Any predictions?

Thanks, RAB
