I took the results from my 1969 NFL-AFL replay, posted earlier and realigned the leagues with a soccer style regulation league. I will use UQ Pro Football for the season. The best 4 AFL teams were moved to the NFL and the four worst NFL teams were regulated to the AFL.

Also on the UQ Football forum Jeff said the n-off/n-def ratings could be substituted for the basic ratings, and just add the HFA for the home team rather than the average of the two teams per the rule book. So that's what I am doing here.
I will use UQ Pro Football for the season. (I reserve the right to return to QP Football for the NFL next year.)

So here is the 1970 league line up. Also the current standings after week 2. The big news so far, Dallas will not have back 2 back undefeated regular seasons.

1970 NFL
East
Baltimore 2-0-0
New York Giants 2-0-0
Washington 1-1-0
New York Jets 1-1-0

North
Minnesota 2-0-0
Green Bay 0-1-1
Cleveland 0-1-1
Detroit 0-2-0

South
Atlanta 0-2-0
Dallas 0-2-0
New Orleans 0-2-0
Houston 0-2-0

West
Los Angeles 2-0-0
San Francisco 2-0-0
Kansas City 2-0-0
Oakland 1-1-0

1970 AFL
East
Miami 2-0-0
Buffalo 1-1-0
Pittsburgh 1-1-0
Philadelphia 1-1-0
Boston 0-1-1

West
St. Louis 1-0-1
San Diego 1-1-0
Denver 1-1-0
Chicago 1-1-0
Cincinnati 0-2-0

This is a great idea and a great way to set this up.
The title of your post is a good one, too.

I really like the relegation/promotion league style of soccer leagues around the world. I would like to see that happen in the NFL here (right, never.)

The Quick/Ultra Quick games of all sports look like loads of fun.

I look forward to your league action -

Not much to due today. I am a Social Studies teacher and return to school later next week, updates might slow a little bit. I also have a Boxing Uni and a UQ WHA season going on too. Whatever mood I am in is what gets played. The lastest obsession is this AFL-NFL Universe.

Week 6
The Baltimore Colts are the last undefeated team.
The San Francisco was a 7 point favorite in their loss to the Rams.
Oakland was a 6 point favorite in their loss to the Packers.

Rotorhead,

Could you tell me how home field advantage is used for UQ pro football ?
I don't have any instructions.

Also,where is your home town located ? I grew-up in St.Augustine but
never heard of that city.

HFA depends how you use it. The instructions: The home field advantage system is optional, but I would recommend it. Simply take the HOME rating of each team and add them together and then divide by two to get the Home field Advantage. Always round up. Now, add this rating to the home team's base score, and subtract it from the visiting team's base score.
Jeff suggested in the forum to just add the HFA to the home teams final factor. That's what I am doing.

Space Coast is the region that includes most of Brevard County. I live near Patrick AFB about 20 miles south of Cape Kennedy.
