UWF Results 8/18/12 - Hirsch Coliseum, Shreveport, LA. Att: 8,129.

Announcers: Boyd Pierce & "Cowboy" Bill Watts
Ring Announcer: Reeser Bowden
Referees: Tommy Gilbert & Edward Faulk

1. "Broadway" Joe Malcolm over Brickhouse Brown by DQ at 4:03. Malcolm pulled Brass Knucks out of his tights but his subsequent loaded punch was blocked by Brown. Brickhouse was able to pry the Knucks away from Malcolm, but he was caught holding them by Referee Tommy Gilbert and disqualified.

2. The Russian Bears (Kortsia Korchenko & Vladimir Petrov w/ Downtown Bruno) defeated Los Guerreros (Chavo & Mando Guerrero) at 5:24. Bruno reached into the ring and tripped Mando Guerrero as he came off the ropes. Petrov then pounced on Mando with a Splash for the pinfall.

3. Devastation Incorporated's Eli the Eliminator (w/ General Skandor Akbar) beat "The Missouri Tiger" Jeff Gaylord by Count Out at 7:59. With both men battling on the floor, Akbar held Gaylord OOR as Eli just managed to roll back inside in time to make Referee Edward Faulk's ten count.

4. The Jersey Boys (Angelo Mosca Jr. & "Jumping" Joe Savoldi) over Missy Hyatt's Coast Connection ("Hollywood" John Tatum & Jack Victory) at 6:07. Victory inadvertently bashed his own partner with "The Lady in Waiting" (Missy Hyatt's loaded Gucci purse). Mosca made the pin on the KO'd Tatum.

5. "Dirty" Dick Murdoch (w/ General Skandor Akbar) defeated "Bullet" Bob Armstrong with his Brainbuster finisher at 11:46.

6. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan pinned "The Unpredictable" Dick Slater (w/ Dark Journey) at 14:19. Seemingly in control of the match, Slater was showboating in the ring when he turned around and was caught by a Running Forearm to the head as Duggan sprang from a three-point stance.

7. Steel Cage Match. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. This match was demanded by "Dr. Death" after Gordy's interference cost Williams and Ted Dibiase the Tag Team Titles to the Fabulous Freebirds (Michael P.S. Hayes & Buddy Jack Roberts) last week. With both men bloody and battered, Terry Gordy planted "Dr. Death" with a Piledriver and began his ascent out of the cage. Gordy was within a few feet from the top of the cage when Williams got to his feet and shook the wall causing the Freebird to lose his footing and tumble back down to the canvas. "Dr. Death" then finished off Gordy with the Oklahoma Stampede (Running Powerslam) before climbing out of the cage to victory.

Ring Announcer: Mike McGuirk
Referees: Earl Hebner & Joey Marella

1. Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz defeated Bob Cook at 1:54. With Referee Earl Hebner knocked down in the action and Bob Cook trying to help him get back to his feet, Schwartz bashed Cook from behind with a corked baseball bat. Hebner recovered to crawl over and count the pin.

3. The Mighty Kwang (w/ Harvey Whippleman) over the 1-2-3 Kid via Count Out at 8:47. Kwang blew the mysterious Green Mist into the 1-2-3 Kid's eyes during OOR action. The Kid blindly staggered around and could not find his way back inside the ring by Referee Joey Marella's ten count.

"The Report Card" segment hosted by Dean Douglas

Douglas reviewed footage from the first two matches of tonight's card on his teleprompter. He lauded Abe Schwartz for his ingenuity and resourcefulness with the baseball bat and rewarded "Knuckleball" with a grade of "B+" for his efforts. Douglas, however, was not as impressed with Aldo Montoya. He gave the "Portugese Man O' War" a "C-" for needing six minutes to defeat Barry Horowitz. Douglas also gave Montoya an "F" for his "ridiculous" ring attire.

4. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese defeated "The Supreme Fighting Machine" Kama (w/ "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase) at 7:45. Duke surprised Kama with a Schoolboy Rollup after sending "The Supreme Fighting Machine" into Ted Dibiase who was up on the apron.

Uncle Zebakiah tried to make the save but had a bucket of slop dumped over his head courtesy of Hillbilly Jim.

6. Intercontinental Title Tournament Match. Bam Bam Bigelow over "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith by Count Out at 15:39. Bam Bam clotheslined "The British Bulldog" over the barricade railing and into the first row of seats during OOR action. Davey Boy could not get back in the ring in time to make the subsequent ten count.

7. WWF Title Tournament Match. Bret "The Hitman" Hart bested looney Bob Backlund at 11:07. The Hitman managed to slip out of Backlund's Crossface Chickenwing and apply the Sharpshooter for the submission victory. After the bout, Backlund went berserk and applied the Crossface Chickenwing to Referee Joey Marella for several minutes until WWF officials Tony Garea and Rene Goulet ran into the ring to break the hold.

Ring Announcer: Marc Lowrance
Referees: Bronco Lubich & "Reliable" Ralph Pulley

1. "Cowboy" Scott Casey (w/ Sunshine and sporting a new Stetson hat) defeated "Lone Star" Rusty Brooks at 3:48. "The Cowboy" did not take kindly to that and planted Brooks with a running Bulldog for the pin.

2. Johnny Mantel over "Gentleman" Chris Adams (w/ a bad attitude and Nicola Roberts) by DQ at 5:07. Adams did not come to wrestle tonight but rather to embarass an injure Johnny Mantel instead. After pulling his opponent up on several two counts, Adams connected with his patented Superkick to the jaw but once again refused to pin Mantel. Adams grabbed his ring robe instead, wrapped it around Mantel's throat and choked him out on the mat. Mike Von Erich ran in to make the save as Referee Ralph Pulley signaled for the disqualification on Adams.

3. TV Tournament Match. The Grappler (Len Denton under a mask) was DQ'd by Referee Bronco Lubich for smashing Al Madril with a loaded boot at 8:18. This bout was a rematch from last week's card at the Sportatorium when the Grappler jumped Madril in the locker room prior to their match.

4. Mike Von Erich over "The Latin Heartthrob" Alex Perez (w/ General Skandor Akbar) by DQ at 8:33. Perez was trapped in Von Erich's Iron Claw Hold in the middle of the ring when "Gentleman" Chris Adams suddenly ran in and bashed Von Erich over the head with a folding chair. Referee Ralph Pulley immediately called for the bell. Adams was apparently upset with Von Erich for coming to Johnny Mantel's rescue earlier in the show.

As medical personnel attended to Mike Von Erich in the ring, Marc Lowrance interviewed Chris Adams at ringside.

Adams: "Von Erich, this is what happens when you stick your bloody nose in my business, eh? How did that chair feel over your skull, mate ? You Von Erichs think you run the whole bloody state of Texas ! Well, Gino Hernandez, Jake Roberts and I have something to say about that ! You blokes best stay out of our way then !!"

5. Tag Team Tournament Match. Jim Cornette's Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey) and the Simpsons (Steve & Shaun) were both Counted Out at 10:12. In an interview with Marc Lowrance, a somber Kerry Von Erich dressed in street clothes disclosed that his brother Mike has been diagnosed with a mild concussion courtesy of Chris Adams' chair shot. Kerry had choice words for Adams and told him that he best watch his back.

6. Red River Jack (Bruiser Brody under a mask) defeated Killer Khan (w/ taped thumb and "Playboy" Gary Hart) at 10:12. This was a brutal back street brawl with both men going toe-to-toe and slugging it out in the middle of the ring. Gary Hart tried to get in on the action and inadvertently hit his own man with a shoe. The dazed Khan walked right into Red River Jack's Big Boot for the winning pinfall.

7. Texas Title Tournament Match. The Dingo Warrior defeated "The Handsome Half-Breed from Highland Park" Gorgeous Gino Hernandez (w/ Nicola Roberts & "Gentleman" Chris Adams) via Count Out at 16:33. Von Erich gave Adams and Hernandez a Noggin Knocker on the floor as the Warrior rolled himself back inside the ring. Referee Ralph Pulley put the ten count on the dazed Hernandez. Von Erich had Adams in the Iron Claw Hold as the program went off the air.

WCW/n.W.o. (Circa Mid to Late 90's) Monday Night Nitro Results 8/28/12 - Florida State Fairgrounds, Tampa, FL. Att: 5,179.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
Ring Announcer: Dave Penzer
Referees: Charles Robinson & Johnny Boone

1. Tank Abbott defeated El Dandy after a Knockout Punch at 3:12. Abbott used a handful of tights to secure the pin.

2. Evan Karagias (w/ fellow Three Count members "Sugar" Shane Helms & Shannon Moore) over Psicosis by DQ at 4:45. With Referee Johnny Boone down on the mat, Shannon Moore tried to bash Psicosis with one of Three Count's green dancing circles but the masked luchador managed to get an arm up to shield himself from the blow. Psicosis then grabbed the circle away from Moore and cleaned house by bopping all three members of the boy band with the object. Unfortunately for Psicosis, Johnny Boone recovered to see the luchador holding the circle and disqualified him.

After the bout, Three Count performed their song "Girl, I Just Gotta Get Into Your Pants" until Psicosis Drop Kicked Karagias out of the ring and sent Helms and Moore over the top rope with a Double Clothesline.

3. High Voltage (Kenny Kaos & Robbie Rage) upset "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart's Faces of Fear (Meng & the Barbarian) by DQ at 7:39. The Barbarian grabbed Robbie Rage in a blatant chokehold and refused to release it by Referee Charles Robinson's five count for the disqualification.

4. Hardcore Match. "Middle-Aged Crazy" Terry Funk pinned "The Belfast Bruiser" David "Fit" Finlay at 9:35 after a Texas Piledriver through a table.

5. "Crippler" Chris Benoit over Ernest "The Cat" Miller (w/ red martial arts slippers & Sonny Onoo) at 8:27. Chris Benoit sent "The Cat" crashing into his manager Sonny Onoo who had climbed up on the apron. Benoit then cradled the dazed Miller for the pinfall.

6. Raven defeated Perry Saturn with a handful of tights at 10:38 after Saturn missed a corner charge and crashed shoulder-first into the ring post.

7. The n.W.o.'s "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan defeated long-time nemisis "Rowdy" Roddy Piper at 12:08. With Referee Charles Robinson knocked down in the action, Piper had the Hulkster caught in a Sleeper Hold when Scott Hall and Kevin Nash suddenly ran in from the back. Hall bashed Piper from behind with a spray paint can to break the Sleeper. Piper staggered over to Nash who then gave "Rowdy Roddy" the Jackknife Powerbomb. Hall draped Hogan's arm ontop of Piper as a woozy Charles Robinson crawled over to count the pin. After the bout, Hall spray painted "n.W.o" on Piper's chest.
