I would like to give heaps of praise on a new, free wrestling game called World Wrestling Game. It is available only by joining this Yahoo group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheSecretClubHouse/

The game is a comfortable hybrid between quick play games that only give a final result and a move by move game, which sometimes requires a great deal of time to run a fed. The games uses a deck of small FACs to create the action and keep the bouts moving. Each wrestler is given 17 moves with varying strengths. Each is also rated for his size and strength. So Rey Mysterio won't be doing any body slams of Andre the Giant. Each wrestler is also assigned a rank and endurance by the person running the fed. That will control how generally successful a wrestler will be in that fed. Upsets can and do happen in my experience with the game.

The game is just one month old. There are 24 fantasy wrestlers available and 24 real wrestlers. There is also tag rules as well as some charts for action outside the ring and for cage matches. WWG handles triple threat and fatal 4 way matches better than any wrestling game in existence. There is a template available to create your own wrestlers and the charts could be created on a blank word document. Players are encouraged to make their own and upload them.

I would love to see more wrestling fans discover, use and create for this outstanding game. Thank you for reading this.

Rick T.
