I'm using Superstar Pro Wrestling. I use the computer version for the most part. Sprinkling in tabletop version to get some different matches not covered in the game.

It was the best table game for excitement when it was released in the early 80's. The computer version is excellent but as you say, there are not as many imaginary moves as in the board game. What you are doing is great. You could add or remove some of the moves or even change them on the computer wrestlers. When I played the computer version I would play all the single matches and let the computer play the tag matches. The tag matches could be marathons. If I remember correctly a setting of 30 minutes for tag teams ended with too many draws. I think I used a 45 minute limit for tags.

For special matches I would add an extra (XX) on wrestlers like Brody and Cactus Jack Example; I may have Brody with an (XX) on 6 and 8 that way he becomes move of a hardcore style performer in cages but it doesn't change his regular matches.

Some great stuff to read that you have recreated.

I definitely like using the game for Tag matches. I usually set the matches for no time limit - since I want to avoid draws. Then, depending on the match type, I might also take away DQs - like for title matches. I've developed a fairly extensive schedule that feeds the winners, and sometimes losers, of matches into future events.

Cyber Sunday saw Shawn Michaels win a Battle Royal to earn a shot at the World Championship Title at SuperBrawl. Also "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes attacked Jeff Hardy in the Parking Lot and revealed that he had joined N.W.O. in their assault on the CWF. This week the countdown to SuperBrawl begins as we get close to closing out the month of February. Hulk Hogan puts his win streak on the line and many more surprises are in store in the CWF. Check out the blog for details.
