Downey Games is proud to announce the release of the 2008 Year Book for Ultra Quick Wrestling.
The 2008 year book brings 180 new wrestlers into your Ultra Quick Universe. All of the major promotions are represented. All wrestlers are rated for their performance this season.
The ratings are "normalized", so you can mix and match wrestlers from different promotions, and still have an "accurate" universe. I've accomplished this by weighting wins in the various promotions, as well as weighting wins by weight class.
Also added to this Year Book is a new optional rule set to bring individual skills of the wrestlers to the forefront. Now, a wrestler's abilities will have an even greater impact in the results, bring you even more realism.
The match-ups are endless!
The printed games come in two formats, printed sheets, or individual die-cut cards.
You can purchase the printed Year Book here: http://www.downeygames.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_3&products_id=1491

| I'm really glad to see you're doing this. I was afraid we might not get any more updates for this game. It's also great to see you've included 36 (by my count at least) women. I will be purchasing soon I expect. |

I thought I'd give wrestling another chance, especially since this is one of my favorite games to play.
Yes, 36 women this year. Both the WWE and TNA have expanded the female division. |

I just purchased the 2008 set and I have a question.
In your example for the new traits adjustment you use a calculation that shows Carlito to be +15 and Triple H 0. In the instructions you say to go up 1 line for each 20 points difference. In the example you said to round up the +15 to +20 and go up two lines. Should that be 1 line or should the rule be to go up 1 line for each 10 points of difference.
Thanks again for a great game and for this new set. I'm glad you're still in the wrestling game business.

Oops, a typo. In Vintage Pro, it's one line per 20 points. In UQ, it's one line per 10 points. |

OK. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll be scheduling some matches soon and want to be playing correctly.
