Interviewer: Michael Simpson Ring Announcer: Laura Robert
s

Match 1 - Nakeshi Matsumoto v Karl Ericcson
This match was a crusierweight battle, with a lot of quick reversals. Ericcson won the match, after rolling up Matsumoto with a handful of tights.
Winner: Karl Ericcson via Pinfall

Match 2 - Erica v Lucy Lock
The submission expert Lock was able to make quick work of the rookie Erica, hooking in the Lock n'Load in double quick time to earn the victory.
Winner: Lucy Lock via Submission

Match 3 - Sam Mercer v Aaron Harris
This singles match was between two members of our sibling tag teams. Mercer was able to use his size advantage to gain the advantage and pick up the surprising victory following a Mercerslam
Winner: Sam Mercer via Pinfall

Backstage The Assasins, Chris Jacobsen & Victor Anderson were plotting for there upcoming Tag Team Match, which the announcers hyped as being next

Match 4 - The Empire of Pain v The Assasins
The Assasins plans become obvious at the start, as they tried to sneak attack The Empire of Pain during there entrance. The attack backfired though, and The Empire of Pain got the early advantage.

The Assasins were able to turn the tide though, and Anderson pinned Sanchez after a Top Rope Legdrop.
Winners: The Assasins via Pinfall

Match 5 - Omega v Jay McCarthy
The match took an unusual twist when Aaron Harris made his way to ringside. The referee was accidently knocked out, and Harris joined McCarthy in double-teaming Omega.

When the ref come too, McCarthy made the pin, but Omega was able to kick out. Omega then managed to turn the tide of the match, and picked up the win following a Tornado DDT.
Winner: Omega via Pinfall

Match 6 - Jake Hughes v Mantis
Mantis sneak attacked Jake Hughes as he made his entrance. A child in the front row was seen crying on the big screen, and the Boo's for Mantis got noticably louder.

Mantis continued his assault though, and even rolled out the ring to get a Kendo Stick. He then preceded to beat on Hughes with it, leaving the ref with no option but to call for the bell.
Winner: Jake Hughes via DQ

Backstage, Tom Danielson caught up with Mantis, asking him what he thought he was up to out there. The Masked warrior just pretended he couldn't hear through his mask, before walking away from the obviously frustrated GM.

Match 7 - "The Cowboy" Drew Sullivan v Dean "The Disaster" Marklund
This match was a technical masterpiece, with both wrestlers obviously looking to outdo the other. In the end, it was Marklund who picked up the victory, gaining the pinfall after a Disaster Kick.
Winner: Dean "The Disaster" Marklund

The announcers finish the program by thanking everyone for tuning in, and hoping that you tune in for Revolution on Friday.

UWF Revolution - Friday 27th March 2015
Honda Centre - Anaheim, California Att: 12,144

Commentators: Gary Chambers & Craig "Hardcore" Dawson
Interviewer: Michael Simpson Ring Announcer: Laura Roberts

Match 1 - Miguel Rodriguez v Yuri Seratov
These two wrestlers were pretty closely matched for the most part, but in the end, Rodriguez was able to hit a Front Leg Sweep, seemingly out of nowhere to get the pinfall
Winner: Miguel Rodriguez via Pinfall

Match 2 - Those Guys v The Order
Rodriguez and Parker had the early advantage in the match, but some mis-communication allowed Those Guys to gain the advantage. A Big Boot from Morgan allowed him to pin Parker
Winners: Those Guys via Pinfall

Match 3 - Bethany v Becky Shamrock
Shamrock used her submission skills to keep Bethany grounding, using every little trick in the book to keep force ahead with the advantage, such as using the ropes for leverage during a Irish Cloverleaf, which gained her a submission victory, albeit dubiously
Winner: Becky Shamrock via Pinfall

Match 4 - "The Natural" Alan McNeill v Archangel
This match decended into anarchy when Archangel grabbed a steel chair from ringside and re-entered the ring. There he found McNeill had grabbed a Kendo Stick from under the ring, with the two now at a stand-off with there weapons, GM Tom Danielson made his way to ringside, and announced the match would now continue as a no DQ Match.

No sooner had he done that, than Pete Morgan made his way out to get a closer look at the action. This seemed to distract Archangel, and when he started mouthing off to Morgan, he turned round into a big Trash Can Lid shot from McNeill, who then pinned him for the win.
Winner: "The Natural" Alan McNeill

UWF- Week in Review (23rd March - 27th March)

Apologies for the missing time, Ive been away for a couple of weeks, and while hoping to post some results during this time, my commitments wouldn't allow it. I'm now going to play catchup, but hopefully we should be back on track shortly.

So when we left off, we had just finished the 27th March edition of Revolution. The wrestlers had begun to have there second matches, and this meant that the fans were now growing accustomed to them, and heat levels were starting to grow.

Jose Rodriguez lost a heat point, taking him to 0, after his interview was interupted. Mantis on the other hand earned a heat point for making a child cry. Mantis therefore is currently on two heat points, making him the most over wrestler at this early stage.

So now for the rankings........

Male Singles - Top 10 (Heat in brackets)

1. Mantis (2) 0-2
2. Kirk Macloed (1) 2-0
3. Duke McGregor (1) 2-0
4. Chris Jacobsen (1) 2-0
5. Mr Amazing (1) 2-0
6. Karl Ericcson (1) 2-0
7. Johnny Powell (1) 1-0
8. Miguel Rodriguez (1) 1-0
9. Mark Austin (1) 1-0
10. Alan "The Natural" McNeill (1) 1-0

Female Singles - Top 5 (Heat in brackets)

1. Lucy Lock (1) 2-0
2. Sofia (1) 1-0
3. Becky Shamrock (1) 1-0
4. Nicole LaBelle (1) 1-0
5. Simone LaBelle (1) 1-0

Tag Teams - Top 5

1. The Harris Brothers 1-0
2. The Eastern Nightmares 1-0
3. The Order 1-0
4. The Creatures 1-0
5. The Dark Disasters 1-1

As I said, hopefully the catchup won't take too long and we will be back on track shortly

Steve

UWF Madness - Monday 30th March 2015
O2 World Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany Att: 10,880

Commentators: Steven Williams & Shawn "The Legend" Thomas
Interviewer: Elaine Hall Ring Announcer: Helen Peterson

Steven Williams & Shawn Thomas welcome us to this week's episode of Madness, and its straight up to the ring for some tag team action….

Match 1 - The Lucha-Bros v The Creatures
Alpha & Omega used there speed to take an early advantage in this match, but once the bigger Mantis entered the match, The Creatures took control and never looked back. A Bull Run from Taurus to Omgea handed The Creatures the victory.
Winners: The Creatures via Pinfall

Match 2 - Johnny Powell v Azrael Hosoquai
Powell cut a tremendous promo on his way to the ring, getting the fans on his side. His size advantage certainly gave him an early advantage in the match. But when he missed a Big Boot Hosoquai was able to use his mat wrestling skills to gain the advantage back. He brought Powell down to his knees, allowing him to hit a Buzz-saw kick for the victory.
Winner: Azrael Hosoquai via Pinfall

Backstage GM Tom Danielson was holding a meeting with the Women, telling them that there would be a multi person Women's match at UWF Gold Rush, and it was up to them to put themselves up for a chance to wrestle at the Pay-Per-View

Match 3 - Pete Morgan v Scott "Nightmare" Phillips
Scott Phillips was able to used his technical ability to keep the Big Australian Pete Morgan from using his size advantage. Phillips kept Morgan grounded at every available opportunity, using rest holds to press home his advantage. Morgan soon fought out, but got caught with a roll-up and with Phillips lifting his legs up on the ropes for an unfair advantage, he got the win.
Winner: Scott "Nightmare" Phillips via Pinfall

Match 4 - Simone LaBelle v KJ Kiss
Simone LaBelle pressed home her advantage early, trying to impress the GM ahead of Gold Rush. However, the referee accidently got knocked down, and Kiss was able to escape from LaBelle. She grabbed her loaded handbag from ringside and clocked LaBelle with it. The ref came too, just in time to count the pinfall.
Winner: KJ Kiss via Pinfall

GM Tom Danielson was seen watching the previous match backstage, he shook his head and walked away from the screen.

Match 5 - Nate Sanchez v Aleksander Rubinov
Rubinov proudly carried his Romanian flag down to the ring with him, and before the ref could ring the bell, Rubinov attacked Sanchez with the flag pole. The ref checked on Sanchez, who said he was OK to start the match, but he was now easy prey for Rubinov, who wrapped up the match with a Superkick
Winner: Aleksander Rubinov via Pinfall

Match 6 - Jay Thompson v Pierre LeBouf
LeBouff had the strength advantage in this match, and used it to gain an early advantage in this match. Thompson was able to take everything LeBouf could throw at him however, and this seemed to frustrate LeBouf. In the end the frustration boiled over, and LeBouf smashed Thompson with a trashcan lid. The ref had no choice but to call for the DQ.
Winner: Jay Thompson via DQ

Match 7 - Matt Pheonix v Simon Parker
This matchup of little and Large between the high flyer Pheonix and the massive New Zealander Parker seemed like a one sided affair on paper. And that’s how it started early on, as Parker threw Pheonix from Pillar to Post. Parker even took time to attack an elderly fan at ringside during the match, gaining Massive heat from the crowd. As he tried to re-enter the ring though Pheonix caught him with a dropkick. Pheonix then went for a high flying move, but Parker grabbed the ringbell and smashed Pheonix in the head as he came over the top rope. Causing the DQ
Winner: Matt Pheonix via DQ

Revolution went off the air with EMT's checking on Pheonix, and Parker laughing maniacally down the camera…..

UWF Wildfire - Wednesday 1st April 2015
Festhalle Frankfurt, Frankfurt, Germany Att: 10,605

Commentators: Gary Chambers & Craig "Hardcore" Dawson
Interviewer: Michael Simpson Ring Announcer: Laura Roberts

Gary Chambers & Craig Dawson welcome everyone to Wildfire, as the UWF continues its tour of Germany. The commentators build up tonight's matches, and its straight to the ring for some action….

Match 1 - Mark Austin v Steve Hamson
Mark Austin controlled most of the match. Hamson began to get some offence in towards the end, but just when he looked like he had turned the tide, Austin caught him off guard with a massive back body drop. He followed that with the Top Rope Splash for the pinfall.
Winner: Mark Austin via Pinfall

Match 2 - Donny Diamond v Mr Slam 3.0
Mr Slam 3.0 was boo'd heavily during his entrance. The fans taking an obvious dislike to him. The fans were even more upset with Mr Slam 3.0 after he hit Diamond in the back with a Steel Chair behind the ref's back. He was then able to cover Diamond for the 3.
Winner: Mr Slam 3.0 via Pinfall

Backstage, Simone La Belle was seen giving Nicola LaBelle some words of encouragement.

Match 3 - Nicola LaBelle v Sofia
Sofia's size advantage was what gave her the upper hand in this match. The Russian was able to control Nicola and press home her advantage. One Russian Slam later and this match was over.
Winner: Sofia via Pinfall

Match 4 - The Agents v The Eastern Nightmares
The story of this match came towards the end. The referee accidently took a kick from Gabriel King. While he was down, Seratov passed Rubinov a 2x4, but Rubinov turned straight into a missile drop kick from Matt Pheonix. That allowed King to grab the 2x4 and nail Rubinov with it, allowing him to pick up the pinfall
Winners: The Agents (Gabriel King & Matt Pheonix) via Pinfall

Match 5 - Earl Taylor v Bob Brutal
This match was a technical classic between two of the most experienced wrestlers on the roster. The Englishman Taylor seemed to have the veteran exactly where he wanted him, but Brutal rolled back the years, and caught Taylor with an unseen low blow, before rolling him up in a small package for the tainted victory.
Winner: Bob Brutal via Pinfall

Backstage, Blake Mercer & The Tower were both seen preparing for tonight's main event.

Match 6 - Rob Morris v Sean Harris
The match was a pretty straight forward affair between two equally matched wrestlers. Morris seemed to have the upper hand, but Harris was able to hit a Harris Attack! Out of nowhere for the victory.
Winner: Sean Harris via Pinfall

Match 7 - Blake Mercer v The Tower
This match looked like a uphill struggle for Tag Team specialist Mercer, as he took on the 7' 3" Tower. That wasn't necessairly the case though, and Mercer threw everything he had at The Tower. In the end though, The Tower was able to hit a massive Ally-Oop and pick up the pinfall.
Winner: The Tower via Pinfall

Commentators: Gary Chambers & Craig "Hardcore" Dawson
Interviewer: Michael Simpson Ring Announcer: Laura Roberts

Match 1 - Lizzie v Amber

Winner: Lizzie via Pinfall

Match 2 - Bart Fletcher v Taurus
Bart Fletcher took an early advantage in the match, using his Technical abilty, and looked like he would make quick work of Taurus. The Turning Point came when the referee got KO'd, allowing Taurus to nail Fletcher with a lead pipe, and pick up the pinfall.
Winner: Taurus via Pinfall

Match 3 - The Republic v The Harris Brothers
The Republic came out of the gate's fast, trying to counter the Harris Brothers' strength advantage, but this didn't seem to work, especially with the Harris' Tag Team Experience. The duo from England were not to be outdone though, and when Sean Harris showboated a bit too much, Earl Taylor roller him up from nowhere for what many will see as an upset victory.
Winners: The Republic via Pinfall

Match 4 - Gabriel King v Victor Anderson
This match didn't contain too many bright spots, King picking up the victory after a Sidewalk Slam to Anderson
Winner: Gabriel King via Pinfall

5. Kirk McLoed (1) 2-0
6. Duke McGregor (1) 2-0
7. Chris Jacobsen (1) 2-0
8. Mr Amazing (1) 2-0
9. Karl Ericsson (1) 2-0
10. Alexander Rubinov (1) 2-0

Female Singles - Top 5 (Heat in brackets)

1. Lucy Lock (1) 2-0
2. Sofia (1) 2-0
3. Becky Shamrock (1) 2-0
4. Amber (1) 1-1
5. Nicola LaBelle (1) 1-0

Tag Teams - Top 5

1. The Creatures 2-0
2. The Harris Brothers 1-1
3. The Eastern Nightmares 1-1

Sportpaleis, Antwerp, Belgium Att: 15,870

Commentators: Steven Williams & Shawn "The Legend" Thomas
Interviewer: Elaine Hall Ring Announcer: Helen Peterson

Steven Williams & Shawn Thomas welcome everyone to Madness, live from Antwerp, Belgium. Dave Charleston makes his way down to the ring, and says that in 2 weeks we will crown our first UWF Heavyweight Champion. He says that whoever is in the top 8 in the weekly rankings at the end of the next 2 weeks will qualify for the tournament. Sam Mercer made his way out to the ring, saying he was here to prove he could qualify for the tournament. Mr Charleston said he would get his opportunity right now in our first match…..

Match 1 - Sam Mercer v Kirk Macloed
Despite Sam Mercer's confidence, the big scot Kirk Macloed was just too big & powerful for him. Mercer put up a good early fight, but Macloed took control and picked up the victory after a double arm DDT.
Winner: Kirk Macloed via Pinfall

Match 2 - Donny Diamond v Duke McGregor
McGregor tried to sneak attack Diamond in the aisle during his entrance. However Diamond was ready for it, and turned the attack around. McGregor never recovered from the failed attack and Diamond was able to apply the Diamond Lock, forcing McGregor to submit.
Winner: Donny Diamond via Submission

Backstage, Kirk Macloed was seen celebrating backstage, obviously believing that his 3-0 record would be enough to earn him qualification into the tournament.

Match 3 - The Empire of Pain v The Harris Brothers
Once again, the Harris Brothers showed how proficient they were in the art of Tag Team Wrestling. After a surprise loss last time out, the Harris' weren't about to make the same mistake again, with Aaron distracting the referee, Sean hit Phil Samson with a 2x4, and followed it up with a Harris Attack! For the victory.
Winners: The Harris Brothers via Pinfall

Match 4 - Bart Fletcher v Karl Ericsson
Bart Fletcher had early control of the match, and Ericsson was becoming increasingly frustrated, as nothing he tried seemed to be coming off. In the end, Ericsson's frustration boiled over, and he nailed Fletcher with the ring bell, causing the DQ.
Winner: Bart Fletcher via DQ

Match 5 - Nicola LaBelle v Amber
Nicola's technical ability was the game-changer in this match. She seemed to be in control from bell to bell, however, just when it looked like she had the match won, Sophia (who had surprisingly beat Nicola last week) ran out and attacked her, causing the DQ.
Winner: Nicola LaBelle via DQ

Backstage, Elaine Williams caught up with Sophia, who said she was here to make a statement. Commisioner Tom Danielson interupted, and said that the multi person match for UWF Goldrush would be Amber & Sophia teaming up to take on the LaBelle sisters. Sophia seemed happy with this outcome.

Match 6 - Johnny Powell v Aleksander Rubinov
The turning point in this match came when Rubinov threw Powell out the ring. With the ref checking on Powell, Rubinov was able unfasten the turnbuckle. Later on in the match, when Powell looked like he was in control, Rubinov threw him into the turnbuckle, and followed it up with a Superkick for the pinfall.
Winner: Aleksander Rubinov via Pinfall

Match 7 - Mark Austin v Scott "Nightmare" Phillips
This was a slugfest from start to finish, with both trying to out Power the other. In the end though, Phillips was able to pick up the victory, rolling up Austin with a handful of tights for the tainted victory.
Winner: Scott "Nightmare" Phillips via Pinfall

And we start with our first match of the night…..

Match 2 - Nakeshi Matsumoto v Taurus
This match was a battle between 2 of the crusierweights in UWF, and was a very thrilling affair, with lots of high flying, risk taking moves. In the end it was Taurus who picked up the pinfall after hitting Matsumoto with a Bull Run.
Winner: Taurus via Pinfall

Match 3 - Tiffany Wilcox v Christina Dawson
The ending of this match came as Wilcox and Dawson were fighting outside the ring. Dawson went down, seemingly injured and while the ref was dealing with her Sofia came out of nowhere and slammed Wilcox on the outside. She rolled Wilcox in the ring and Dawson magically recovered in time to make the pin.
Winner: Christina Dawson via Pinfall

Match 4 - Alpha v Mr Amazing
During the match, Mr Amazing rolled out the ring to grab a chair. The ref took the chair back off him, but as the ref was putting the chair back, Aaron Harris ran out and helped Mr Amazing to double team Alpha. By the time the ref turned round, Harris had scarped, allowing Mr Amazing to hit a Shooting Star Press and pick up the victory.
Winner: Mr Amazing via Pinfall

Backstage, Michael Simpson caught up with comminsoner Tom Danielson. Danielson said he had no idea what Sofia was trying to prove, but after her antics tonight, he was making the women's tag team match a UWF Gold Rush a steel cage match. He also mentioned that following Aaron Harris attacking Alpha just now, he was also booking The Lucha-Bros v The Harris Brothers for the pay-per-view.

Match 5 - Gabriel King v Yuri Seratov
Gabriel King got a fantastic reception on his entrance, pumping him up for the match and increasing his heat rating. It wasn't enough to stop the brawling Russian though, and Seratov picked up the victory after hitting From Russia with Love on King.
Winner: Yuri Seratov via Pinfall

Match 6 - Max Maverick v Mantis
Max Maverick had the upper hand in the match, but when he hit the Maverick Drop, Taurus came from nowhere to assist his Tag Team Partner, causing the DQ.
Winner: Max Maverick via DQ

Match 7 - The Republic v The Assasins
This was a massive brawl from start to finish, resembling more a tornado tag team match, with the ref barely having control of what was happening. In the end, it was the Assasins who pick up the victory, after Chris Jacobsen applied the Sharpshooter to Earl Taylor and got the submission victory.
Winners: The Assasins via Submission

Wildfire goes off the air with Gary Chambers thanking us for watching, and reminding us that we are only 10 days away from UWF Gold Rush.

UWF - Week in Review (6th April - 10th April)

No changes in heat levels for our wrestlers this week. But with a week to go until we crown our first UWF World Heavyweight Champion, it's time to unveil our new ranking system:

Over the previous weeks, we have based the rankings on heat level, and then win-loss records. From now on, these two factors will be multiplied together to give us a score we can rank on.

This should stop someone who is very over, but doesn't win many matches (think Zack Ryder), being Number 1 contender every week.

So, based on that, here is our new rankings, as we close down to Gold Rush.

Male Singles - Top 10 (Heat in brackets)

1. 1.50 Simon Parker (3) 1-1
2. 1.33 Gabriel King (2) 2-1
3. 1.00 Mr Slam 3.0 (2) 1-1
4. 1.00 Kirk McLoed (1) 3-0
5. 1.00 Taurus (1) 3-0
6. 1.00 Mr. Amazing (1) 3-0
7. 1.00 Chris Jacobsen (1) 2-0
8. 1.00 Alexander Rubinov (1) 2-0
9. 1.00 Azareel Hosoquai (1) 2-0
10.1.00 Miguel Rodriguez (1) 2-0

So, out the top six, five of them have more or less qualified for the tournament. They are:

Simon Parker
Gabriel King
Kirk McLoed
Taurus
Mr Amazing

Mr Slam 3.0 will probably qualify win a win this week, while the other 4 will hope a win gets them in, but someone's heat improving this week could see them jump right up into the mix.

In the other rankings:

Female Singles - Top 5 (Heat in brackets)

1. Becky Shamrock (1) 3-0

UWF Madness - Monday 13th April 2015
Mastercard Centre, Beijing, China Att: 12,240

Commentators: Steven Williams & Shawn "The Legend" Thomas
Interviewer: Elaine Hall Ring Announcer: Helen Peterson

Madness starts with Mr Charleston coming to the ring. He says we are now 6 days away from UWF Gold Rush and crowning our first ever UWF Heavyweight Champion. He says he is anxious to find out who will qualify, so all those in contention, who have yet to have there third match, will have that match tonight!! By the end of the night, we will know who has qualified, and the draw for the tournament can then take place on Wildfire……

Match 1 - Will "Eagle" Evans v The Tower
The 7'3 Tower made short work of the crusierweight Evans, obviously trying to prove a point. He caught Evans with a low blow behind the ref's back, before hitting an ally-oop to pick up the pinfall.
Winner: The Tower via Pinfall

Match 2 - Alan "The Natural" McNeill v Chris Jacobsen
McNeill tried to gain an early pinfall by rolling Jacobsen up early, but once Jacobsen had kicked out it was all one way traffic in this contest. Jacobsen dominated McNeill and go the submission from the sharpshooter.
Winner: Chris Jacobsen via Submission

Match 3 - Simone LaBelle v Sofia
These two faced off in preperation for there tag team match at Gold Rush. It was a very close affair all the way through, but in the end Sofia decided to try and get an advantage for Sunday, spraying perfume in the eyes of Simone to cause the DQ, but hopefully cause longer lasting damage….
Winner: Simone LaBelle via DQ

Backstage, commisioner Tom Danielson was watching on the monitor. He shook his head, wondering how he is going to get control of Sofia, before walking off to check on Simone.

Match 4 - Omega v Azarael Hosoquai
This was a fast paced match, which certainly handed the advantage to the crusierweight Luchador Omega. However, he went for one high flying move too many, and as he got up Hosoquai was able to land a Buzz Kick, picking up the pinfall.
Winner: Azarael Hosoquai via Pinfall

Match 5 - Nate Sanchez v Steve Hamson
Both these wrestlers were hoping to get going, after both being winless through there first two matches. With the shot at Gold Rush gone, you would think they would take it easy, but instead it was an all out war. In the end, it was Nate Sanchez who picked up the victory after landing a spear.
Winner: Nate Sanchez via Pinfall

Backstage, Elaine Hall caught up with Tom Danielson with an update on Simone LaBelle. He said Simone was a little shaken up, but now she was angry, and she would definetly be ready for the Steel Cage Tag Team match on Sunday.

Match 6 - Those Guys v The Eastern Nightmares
This match broke down in quite rapid fashion. During an OOR melee, Seratov removed the covering from the Turnbuckle. He would later smash Jake Hughes's head into the exposed turnbuckle, but was caught by the ref, who called for the bell.
Winners: Those Guys via DQ

Match 7 - Phil Samson v Mr Slam 3.0
Mr Slam 3.0 knew a win in the main event would get him into the tournament at Gold Rush, but the pressure seemed to be leaning heavily on him. And when Mr Slam 3.0 missed a clothesline, it gave Samson the opportunity to apply the Crossface. Mr Slam fought all he could to make it to the ropes, but just couldn’t manage it, tapping out to hand Samson the win.
Winner: Phil Samson via Submission

The show ended with Steven Williams reminding us to tune into Wildfire for the draw for the title tournament for Gold Rush….

UWF Wildfire - Wednesday 15th April 2015
New Shenzen Arena, Shenzen, China Att: 12,240

Commentators: Gary Chambers & Craig "Hardcore" Dawson
Interviewer: Michael Simpson Ring Announcer: Laura Roberts

As Wildfire opened up, both owner Dave Charleston and Commisioner Tom Danielson were waiting in the ring, with a tumbler in front of them. Mr Charleston said that now all eight wrestlers in the Gold Rush tournament to crown the very first UWF Champion were known they could now do the draw.

Tom Danielson wished everyone luck, and the matches were drawn out as follows:
* Gabriel King v Mr Amazing
* Aleksander Rubinov v Simon Parker
* Kirk Macloed v The Tower
* Azarael Hosoquai v Chris Jacobsen

Match 1 - The Agents v The Creatures
The Match broke down late on, and the ref seemed to lose total control. During the melee, Mantis grabbed a Ladder and smashed Gabriel King in the back with it. The ref had no option but to call for the bell.
Winners: The Agents via DQ

Match 2 - Jake Hughes v Bob Brutal
Jake Hughes made his entrance with new theme music, and the fans seemed to love it. The additional fan adulation didn’t help though, and when the veteran Brutal hit his Brutal Bomb that was it.
Winner: Bob Brutal via Pinfall

Match 3 - Bethany v KJ Kiss
The ending of this match came when Bethany went to splash Kiss in the corner, but Kiss dragged the referee in the way. While Bethany was checking on the ref, Kiss grabbed a Steel Chair and delivered a brutal chair shot to kiss. She then disposed of the evidence and made the cover, the ref coming to just in time to count the 3.
Winner: KJ Kiss via Pinfall

Backstage, Mr Charleston and Tom Danielson were seen backstage watching the action and discussing the Championship Tournament.

Match 4 - Rob Morris v Archangel
The Big Australian Pete Morgan made his way down to ringside to watch this match, and that seemed to distract Archangel. In the end though, Archangel was able to pull himself together and pick up the victory with an Archangel bomb.
Winner: Archangel via Pinfall

Match 5 - Jay Thompson v Dean "The Disaster" Marklund
Nothing much of note happened in this match. Marklud was able to put Thompson away with a disaster kick, to pick up the pinfall.
Winner: Dean "The Disaster" Marklund via Pinfall

Backstage, Miguel Rodriguez was seen warming up for the main-event.

Match 6 - Guy Hustler v Jay McCarthy
Guy Hustler seemed more concerned with doing his magic tricks for the fans than the match, and this seemed to frustrate McCarthy. In the end McCarthy got so frustrated with Hustler's antics, that he grabbed a trashcan from under the ring, and just nailed Hustler with it, causing the DQ.
Winner: Guy Hustler via DQ

Match 7 - Miguel Rodriguez v Simon Parker
Simon Parker seemed more concerned about not getting injured ahead of the Title Tournament than winning what was now a throw away match to him. In the end, Rodriguez was able to catch a distracted parker with a small package for the win.
Winner: Miguel Rodriguez via Pinfall

The show then ends with Chambers & Dawson promoting the Gold Rush pay-per view, and reminding us to watch Revolution on Friday.

UWF Revolution - Friday 17th April 2015
Quizhong Forest Sports City Arena, Shanghai, China Att: 10,200

Commentators: Gary Chambers & Craig "Hardcore" Dawson
Interviewer: Michael Simpson Ring Announcer: Laura Roberts

Match 1 - Matt Pheonix v Jose Rodriguez
The opening match of the show was a slow paced affair, as Rodriguez tried to keep the high flying Pheonix grounded. His plans worked and in the end he was able to apply the Cross Arm Bar and pick up the submission victory.
Winner: Jose Rodriguez via Submission

Match 2 - The Lucha-Bros v The Dark Nightmares
This match ended before it began, as Chris Jacobsen appeared from nowhere as the Lucha-Bros were making their entrance, and hit Alpha with a massive DDT on the entrance ramp. With Alpha now unable to get in the ring to start the match, the ref had to award the match to the Lucha-Bros via DQ.
Winners: The Lucha-Bros via DQ

Match 3 - Erica v Lucy Lock
This match was a very technical affair, and it seemed as though the woman with the most Savvy would be the one to pick up the victory. Then Sofia made her way out and attacked Erica, and when Lucy Lock joined in, the ref had no choice but to call for the bell.
Winner: Erica via DQ

Backstage, commisioner Tom Danielson was seen shaking his head, knowing he had a lot of work to do to get Sofia under control, and that even the match at Gold Rush may not be enough to teach her a lesson.

Match 4 - "The Cowboy" Drew Sullivan v Victor Anderson
Drew Sullivan had a massive size advantage in this match, and he used it to great effect, controlling the match and keeeping Victor Anderson from mounting much offence. In the end he was able to hit Anderson with an Alabama Slam and pick up the three count.
Winner: "The Cowboy" Drew Sullivan via Pinfall

Revolution went off the air with the announcers hyping up Gold Rush, and running through the card, which will feature the 8 man tournament to crown a new UWF Champion, The Lucha-Bros v The Harris Brothers, and The LaBelle Twins v Sofia & Amber inside a Steel Cage. It promises to be one not to be missed……

Winner: Simon Parker via Pinfall

Match 3: The Tower v Kirk Macloed
Kirk Macloed tired to use his savvy to counteract the size advantage of The Tower. It seemed to be working early doors, but The Tower started to mount his comeback. As he did the ref was accidentally knocked to the outside. Macloed saw his opportunity, grabbed a 2x4 from under the ring and nailed The Tower in the back with it. The ref recovered just in time to count the pinfall.

Winner: Chris Jacobsen via Submission

Match 5: The LaBelle Twins v Sofia & Amber (Steel Cage Match)
Sofia and Amber came down to the caged ring fully prepared, each bringing weapons with them. While they gave them an early advantage, those weapons would come back to haunt them. As the match wore on, Nicola LaBelle was able to grab the steel chair that Amber had brought to
the ring, and nailed her in the head with it, before nailing a DDT on the chair to pick up the pinfall.
Winner: The LaBelle Twins

Match 6: Gabriel King v Simon Parker
The first semi-final of the night saw King and Parker square off. Parker's strength gave him an early advantage, but he got frustrated as the match went on and King refused to stay down. Parker thought he saw an opening when the referee accidentaly got KO'd, but when he hit King with a Steel Chair, the ref had just come round and called for the bell DQ-ing Parker.
Winner: Gabriel King via Pinfall

Backstage, Owner Dave Charleston was seen pacing round his office, looking very concerned. He then seemed to have a bright idea and marched out of his office….

Match 7: Chris Jacobsen v Kirk Macloed
This was a well balanced match, and a very close contest. Both men seemed to have the measure of each other, and seemed to know how to conteract each other's offence. In the end it was Macloed who got the opening he was looking for to pick up the win following a double DDT.
Winner: Kirk Macloed via Pinfall

Match 8: The Lucha-Bros v The Mercer Brothers
The crowd really got on the back of the Mercer Brothers in this match, and this seemed to distract the brothers. They got it back when it together when it mattered though, and as Alpha came off the top rope, Sam Mercer caught him and the brothers delived a Mercer-Drive to pick up the pinfall.
Winners: The Mercer Brothers via Pinfall

UWF Owner Dave Charleston came down to ringside for the main event, to watch as the first champion of his company would be crowned, and to present the belt.

Match 9: Gabriel King v Kirk Macloed (UWF Heavyweight Championship Match)
This match looked all but over, when Gabriel King took Macloed down with a Sidewalk Slam, but his hopes and dreams were ripped away from him, in an instant. Dave Charleston montioned to the ramp, and then distracted the referee. This allowed the Mercer Brothers to run down and hit a Mercer Driver on King, and draped Macloed on top of him. The ref turned around just in time to count the pinfall, making Kirk Macloed the first ever UWF Heavyweight Champion in controversial circumstances.
Winner and NEW UWF Heavyweight Champion: Kirk Macloed

After the match, the Mercer Brothers made there way back down to the ring and celebrated with Macloed and Mr Charleston. Steven Williams was shocked on commentary, while Shawn Thomas cited the brilliance of Mr Charleston. Steven Williams encouraged us to tune into Madness tomorrow night, when hopefully we would get some answers………
