How does strength of schedule work for college basketball?Can someone provide an example?

You subtract the rating of the lower rated team from the rating of the higher rated team and add the difference to the higher rated team as points. These points are distributed in the same way as Defensive and HCA adjustments.

Example:

Higher rated team = 40
Lower rated team = 30

40 - 30 = 10

10 points are added to the higher rated team.

If any of the points are distributed to an empty roster spot I treat those points as missed opportunities. That's my understanding of the rules.
