Back then it wasn't that rare. They didn't start losing regularly until after the Browns' 1964 championship.

Yeah...a half century ago. Plus, what Cleveland team has won a championship since 1964?

Right. I just meant that at the time, no one could foresee that Cleveland wouldn't be winning anything after 1964 for at least fifty years. It is definitely rare now.

Oh yeah, in the 1950s the Browns and the Lions met 3 times (I think) for the title. Not seen either since they renamed the title game "Super Bowl!"
