The game is simple with a standard deck of cards, you can run a complete MMA match. It takes about 5 minutes to play. Each fighter is given a damage rating and each time you turn a card damage will be inflcited if but beaware of the knockout cards. The rules allow for a standard 3 round bout and even for championship round bouts. Its a quick way to run matches.

Those are some solid results, Rousey result is a surprise but it could have happened , Alexis Davis is a good fighter, in real life Rhonda hit her quick and ended it fast but Davis can fight.

In the next week I will be adding the two player feature so if you purchased the game send me your name and email so I can forward the rules for two player to all of you. If you plan on purchasing the game you can still get the game for 5 bucks, and when the two player addition comes out I will send it you as well.

Jim

Gord,

Could you give a brief review of the game? Do you think the results are realistic... and is it fun?

Well with out give away the game mechanics too much each athlete has a damage rating (I agree with most of the rating) and you use a stander deck of cards, each card you draw [turn over] does damage, there is a knock out/submission card that can come up (look at my Rousey - Davis match) so like MMA any athlete has a chance to win. The matches that I enjoyed the most are the ones that lasted more then the first round but even then all of them were fun to play out. The price is right and there has been a couple of up dates to replay out the last couple of events. The game plays out fast but you if you are a fan you can envision very card turn. There is also a downloadable excel sheet that you can use to track how each athlete is doing and simple instructions if you want to run a season.
All the matches I have run could have gone down that way and were fun to play out.
Hope that helps
Gord
