You are quite welcome. Do you need to tighten them up because you are getting too many hits on fielding checks? Did you adjust the stats any to make them up to the MLB levels on which the game was based? I do really like the reliever charts.

OK. I use the stats at baseball-reference.com for my MLB teams, but not sure what is available for the minors.

I am still curious about what you did about the stats for Cardboard that are totals as the minors play fewer games than MLB.

oh sorry ...all stats were multiplied by 1.1 to achieve virtual 162 game totals

hr, 2b, hits, wins, strikeouts, sb, etc to get my ratings ...29 hr's in 147 games =31 in 162...seems to work out.. era and avg i kept

Makes sense. Sorry to keep pestering you, but do you make cards by hand or do you have an Excel program to do it, or something else?

Thanks

Rick

i actually just do a quick team sheet ......i know its not the theory or feel the game intended ..but the game machine is the fun part......

if there is someone with a template for players i will make cards .....maybe leave the pitchers on a "bullpen sheet"!!!

Play it the way you like to. No apologies needed. I tried it and don't really like it in roster form as well, perhaps because there is at least one reference to a player's stats all the time and sometimes 2. I do have a card maker that prints only the stats needed for the game and takes up only 2 sheets instead of the 4 or 5 needed on the website. But it isn't my creation so I am not free to distribute it.

Do you write out the roster sheet by hand or fill out a form? Either way, would it be possible to see one of your roster sheets?

Thanks

Rick T.

let me send you a cleaned up sheet .. my 4 1968 "experimental teams" are directly from baseball reference i added positions and ratings of top 25 players (pitchers included) 14 field and 11 pitchers, takes a little time to deal with
