Love this game, but one thing has bugged me. Why is their two different FG and Punt ranges for each team? For example, 1976 Oakland has scoring ranges of TD Run 11-23 (9 chances), FG 24-26 (3 chances), TD Pass 31-64 (22 chances), FG 65-66 (2 chances). Wouldn't TD Run 11-23 (9 chances), TD Pass 24-61 (22 chances), FG 62-66 (5 chances) work also? |

I think the reason the game is set up like that is because the TD run and TD pass chances are affected by the defense ratings against the run and pass. So, for example, if the ratings were set up the way you have suggested, when you adjust a team's TD run rating by the opponent's defense against the run rating, you would also need to adjust that team's TD pass rating at the same time to keep the number of chances constant. Then you would need to adjust the TD pass ratings again based upon the opponent's defense against the pass rating. Frankly, I think it is less confusing the way the game is set up now. |

I see it now. That would be a hassle. Thanks! |
