Just finished a replay of the "Forgotten Miracle" the 1960 USA Olympic Hockey with this and it was fun and much closer to real life than I would have guessed. It came down to the final games . First the USA beats Canada 4-3 in OT. Both were undefeated in the medal round to that point. USA takes the Gold and Canada the Silver as in real life.A small surprise with Finland taking the bronze over the USSR on 5-3 victory over USSR. Finland was in the running for the Gold until a late Medal Round loses to Canada 6-5 and USA 4-3 both in overtime.
The USSR came in fourth with Sweden in 5th place and Czechoslovakia 6th. Scoring overall was pretty close to the real life but with still enough randomness to make it fun.

Your replay using Final Score Hockey sounded exciting, thanks for posting.

I'll be following anymore replays that you are doing with the game.

How do you like the game Final Score Hockey? I know a lot of players like games that have stats but your write up was good as I could visualize the competition.

Thanks Pavel. Yes it is a fun game. I like the pressue situation mechanic and possibility of OT plus shootouts. The game is great for something like Olympics where goal scorers is less important. I think I will wait for th soon to be released Shoot out hockey for playing NHL quick play. I think this Final Score game will be a good companion for Hcokey Blast as I replay Olympic Hockey.

Nice! I enjoy Final Score Hockey, because at this stage in my life I have no interest in tracking stats (i.e.. skaters and goalies). I enjoy playing out the season and keeping track of standings.
