It is very little secret that I love MVP Baseball. To that end I purchased the 2012 season recently. In order to use all the teams and test hop them a bit, I am running the 30-team tournament with blind draw. the first round is just best-of-3. the next two best-of-5 and then best-of-7. Starting pitchers will be used in the order they appear on the team card. The first round will be a 3-pitcher rotation, next will be 4-pitcher and then back to 3. I will use 2 MVPs in each series and will be using the Cy Young module.

Hi Gaz,

No, MVP Baseball is not a batter-batter game but a quick game. You track one or two batters and with a couple rolls, you can get a final score. Pretty cool game that gives off good results. With the Cy Young module you can track the starters as well. Game requires at least 10-12 dice......I highly recommend the game! You can play the game alone or in conjunction with another baseball game. Rick T. has actually done a complete season with one team and the team's W-L stats were pretty spot on. Game costs around 13 bucks with one season included and extra seasons run just a couple bucks. Games play fast, I can play a six game series in just 20 minutes.

You can track no more than 2 hitters per team. The hitting stats are, AB, H, HR, RBI. The pitching stats for starters only are IP, ER, SO, win or loss.

No problem at all. Just wanted to make sure anyone reading knew exactly what was out there in case they wanted to purchase.
