Run on a tour basis with each tour lasting 7 cards. All titles are defended/contested once on each tour. The titles are:

UWO World Heavyweight Champion (currently Lou Thesz)
UWO North American Champion (currently Dusty Rhodes)
UWO Tag Team Champions (current the Freebird Team of Hayes & Gordy, Freebird rule NOT in effect though Hayes and Jimmy Garvin also team up)

There is a week off between each tour, during this time the North American champion (the nominal #1 contender to the World Champion) may elect to vacate the title for the shot at the World title at the next event. This is a huge gamble as the North American champion is paid quite a bit more than non-champions.

The first tour of the new year is about to begin:

Event 1 Matches:

1 Pez Whatley vs. Mr. Olympia
2 Ole Anderson vs. Rocky King
3 Tony Garea vs. Bob Armstrong
4 Papa Shango vs. The Patriot
5 The Moondogs vs. The Sawyers
6 Austin Idol vs. The Ultimate Warrior
7 The Soviet Connection vs North American Champion Dusty Rhodes & Jim Duggan

Title Matches on Tour:
Event 2:
North American Title Match: Dusty Rhodes (c) vs The Destroyer
World Tag Team Title Match: The Freebirds (Hayes & Gordy) (c) vs The Road Warriors

Event 7:
World Title Match: Lou Thesz (c) vs Stan Hansen

I realize that this is a small sampling of matches but shouldn't there be some DQ finishes in there somewhere? Especially involving main event participants, you normally have at least half of the battles end in some type of DQ/countout. I don't have this game (that might have become apparent) but have been thinking about getting it. Are there DQ options or is it similar to Superstar Wrestling where the only DQ is a countout?

There are DQ options in TV Pro Wrestling 2. Depending on the wrestler's style, there are two to four moves that could result in a DQ check. Other than technical wrestlers, there is between an 8% and 11% chance of a wrestler executing an illegal move.

In addition to those possible DQ checks, there are also count-outs that could occur.
