I had two unusual occurrences in my first game with the FACs.

I only have the 77 season so I decided it would be Houston (JR Richard) vs. Los Angeles (Doug Rau).

Astros win 5-1. Richard strikes out only 2 and pitches a no-hitter. He had 4 walks. He also had a big day at the plate. He was on base three times with a triple, a single, a walk. The Astros had 12 hits and left runners on base in every inning. Enos Cabell and former Dodger Joe Ferguson hit homers for Houston.

I'm not going to use this game to have any opinion about the FACs, but I only had one fielding check and just four strikeouts combined for both teams. I will keep playing.

Enos Cabell - fantastic! I haven't heard that name in 30 years.
He was one of my Dad's favorite players.

Very entertaining. I might just be onto something here.

Houston at L.A. 1977 again
Niekro vs. Sutton
Dodgers win 7-5
Niekro only went 5IP with 6H, 4ER
Sutton went just 6 but got the win with 5H, 3ER, 1BB, 6K
Astros highlights:
Cruz 2 homers, 1 walk, 3 runs, 3RBI
Watson 2 singles
Dodgers highlights:
Garvey, 2-run homer, RBI-single
Monday 2 walks, 2 runs
Baker 2 singles, 2 runs
Hough 1H in 1IP for save

Lines were:
Houston 5 8 0
L.A. 7 9 2

Game flowed well and was more enjoyable for me than the dice version. I shuffled after the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th innings. Just a quick shuffle to mix things up. I think this one is pretty good based on my first two games.

Rick
